All your cows have such great personalities, Tom. They have always been my favourite animals, and it is so good to see your affection for them and their response to you. There could be no better advocates for farming than yourself, the Ginger Warrior, and your farm itself!

Only good farmers deserve it, not the ones who separate mother cows and calves after birth. Yes, this also happens, dear TH-cam viewers! A forced separation, so that some cruel farmers get all the milk. There are also abusive farmers who let the calf stay with her or his mother, but don't allow the calf to nurse as much as she or he needs!

A very, very good video, Tom! Thoroughly enjoyed seeing a day in your life through the lens. Like many farmers, You and your Father (wearer of the fabulous ginger moustache) are a credit to the industry! The care, time and effort you take in your animals is terrific to see, your passion for gaming always jumps out the screen. Awesome.

Another good video, fantastic half hour that brought back some lovely memories,. Nice to see farming work being done rather than seeing everything put out to contractors while the youtuber swans around on various farm vehicles doing nothing. Thank you Tom and all the other farmers in these great countries on these Isles. I love having a good English breakfast in the morning and if it wasn't for you all then we would have that fresh milk in our coffee or tea to company our breakfast and meals and make them whole.

Love the vids as always Tom bois!
I live on a sheep farm but I’ve got nothing to do with it unfortunately!
I’ve worked dairy farm’s before and me and my brother are saving to buy our own farm. I’m only 15 and obviously don’t get much money so it’s tough but Farming has been apart of my life for ages, it was my dad who started farming but he had to leave and me and my brother followed his footsteps. It takes time but hopefully with money coming in, we should have our own farm in the next year or 2. It’s just finding one we can afford as a family (me, my brother and dad)

@The Havoc ai is honestly pretty messed up in my opinion, but if you're ok with that, then I won't argue about that.
And about the calves, I mostly asked the question to make you/the original commenter to think about it. Most dairy calves don't even get the luxury of pasture (especially males), and are kept in tiny pens where they can hardly move. Even if they do end up pastures, they have to be orphaned and confined at least until weining age. I feel the whole system is messed up.
1 year, out of the 20 years they'd live naturally. 1 year and they're just toddlers, taken to slaughter, which I call living hell.

A great video to watch, I myself am a dairy farmer in South West Wales and we have our own milk delivery business delivering to local shops and houses. It's great when people get to see videos like this to understand how much work and effort farmers put in to keep the population fed with their crops and meat and with their milk. Never underestimate a farmers work day, it's a 24 hour job, real credit to you and your dad

I was researching farming life as I am writing stories to go on the back of my greeting cards, currently about milking cows, and what a delight to find your video! My grandpa was a dairy farmer but died before I could ask him about it. So I found myself watching a cow milking video..as you do..but it was so much more! I laughed and thoroughly enjoyed a glimpse into your life, it was inspiring and celebrates positive energy on the farm. I LOVE that you have a highland Harriett, that made me laugh to see her come running as I have already done a Harriett and she has her own story too. The cow design will be called The Milk Maids, and your video really helped with some of the farmers details. I may just have to watch some more of your videos just for the fun of it. Happy farming and best wishes Sarah, from Suffolk . www.lovecountryuk.co.uk

Liked the videos? They are smashing, brilliant, awesome!! I learn/learned so much. Your dad is such a wealth of knowledge. Today, I learned I should be mowing more often. I thought that I should be letting my paddocks go to seed to re-seed themselves. Drainage is a problem for me too. Keep rotating your equipment and upgrading when you can. But a good roof is also soooo important. Looking at what you have from drone footage looks like allot of roof on the farm with the store. But then seeing the other farm barns that you rent, well... You do have allot to work with. I was glad to see that the golf course let you mow that patch. Then seeing Tom mow the pitch so carefully. That was nice to see too. I contacted Kevin, my landscaper, he brings in a brush hog mower to do my paddocks; it's a pull-behind mower on a Kubota tractor. Our weather has been in the 90 + F this week. We are having a thunderstorm as I type. Working early in the morning or late in the afternoon is necessary sometimes. So it is difficult to get Kevin in with the mower in the Summer. I check with our university extension office at different times to see what I should be doing with my soil. Do you have an extension that will test your soil so you know what minerals to add? Thanks again for your seminar on husbandry. Love it!!! All the best, Georgia in Florida.

Alot of diary cow breeds are built that way they arent skinny. On cattle with different breeds comes different body types and such. These cows look to be in good health.
