Great video Crawford. Looks like a great set up there, great plans in place. Hope yourself and gate lady are enjoying the trip. 👍🏼👍🏼 enjoyed watching. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic video, Crawford. Thank you. I find it very interesting to see how other countries farm and that farm was beautiful. What a great job they have done and what a lovely family. I hope you and mrs. Gate Lady have a fabulous time over there I did look into going there many years ago. i just wish i had taken that leap of faith. Take care 💜
Hey have a great time!!! Our old milk tanker driver lives near Hamilton NZ crazy cause Hamilton was where our dairy farm was here in Scotland 🏴…. But sadly we’ve now retired … hubby loves your videos and missing you !! Visited the farm shop before Christmas to get his beer fix!! 🤣 …. 🏴 🇳🇿
What a great set-up....... What struck me is all of the different shades of green, everything is so lush. Apart from that, you could be in Scotland or the English countryside. Love New Zealand. ATVB
Wonderful insight, thank you Crawford! Are you still in NZ? My brother flew out a solid month ago to go work at a dairy down South in Balfour. If you want to have a poke around there let me know and I'll get you in touch.
Will you tell us how you're finding the conditions, widths of the roads, towns, space around everything. If you think the road signs are confusing or what differences in the shops, cafes. Thank you for bringing us along. 🇦🇺
We toured round the north and south islands about 8 years ago in a camper van. The South Island in particular was very quiet on the roads once away from the big towns, you could drive for miles and not see another car. Good roads, road signs similar to the UK much of the time, there are warnings and advised speed on bends. Occasionally railway lines cross roads without gates, one line shared a bridge with us which was a bit unnerving. The South Island rivers are very wild and untamed looking like some of the rivers in Scotland. North island is busier on the roads, but again the roads are good and there’s even a motorway around Auckland. We loved NZ, beautiful scenery and lovely friendly people, great food too especially seafood on the coast.
Your taste in music is en pointe - for a bagpipe playing Scotsman. PS In the antipodes "dollys" are children's toys, the thing at the back of a truck (lorry) is a trailer.
I used to farm in Taranaki, about 200km south from this video's location, and yes, all stock was kept outside all year. It's not too cold there in "Winter ".
What a beautiful place!! Thank You for sharing with us!
Looks absolutely fantastic, once again Crawford another top video
Freddie and Emily will be very busy with grandad 😅 Great scenery....enjoy
In the snow! 😬
Cracking video Crawford and gate lady that's a nice way to farm across there
Wonderful! Spent a year in NZ in 1986 working on all types of farms in the North Island. A great experience that shaped my life (met my wife!).
Great video Crawford. Looks like a great set up there, great plans in place. Hope yourself and gate lady are enjoying the trip. 👍🏼👍🏼 enjoyed watching. Thanks for sharing.
Great video and coverage of the NZ farming ways. That’s a right tidy place they must really be proud of. Keep those uploads rolling in 🙂

Great information on the dairy farm. Typical rain following you over New Zealand 🇳🇿 is the grass really greener 😜
I was watching your visit to Kiwi Farmer this morning. You could have stayed and dagged a couple of maggoty sheep for him 🐑🐑🤣
Great video! Fair play for making the effort while on the hollibobs!
I bet the cows enjoy the constant changing of fields across that very varied terrain. They look like some very chillaxed cows!
Neil is my wife's cousin small world, NZ is definitely on our bucket list at some point. Enjoy
I wish I was a young man again,I should have gone in 1980 when I had the chance
What a set up and what a beautiful scenic country.
Great video, beautiful country side, interesting and forward thinking farming too, enjoy the Hols.

Brilliant video. So no need for big shed to house cows for winter period
What an amazing place. Xx
I follow both farms, funny 😄
The setup looks like the setup Andrew from “The Once a Day Farmer”. Must be a common setup in NZ😂
If you get a chance head for Queens Town in the south island for the best fun, white water rafting, jet boating and bunjjjiiii
Great video 👌🏻
Did ya make it down to Canterbury where some milking herds are 2000 cow's? Crop and machinery galore 👍🏻😉🚜🐄🐂🇳🇿
