Your podcast has put words to other aspects of knitting then just producing garments; knitting is creativity, meditation, frustration, a work of art and of self care. Thank you!

I have been inspired so much by your podcast. I look at things and my knitting so differently by what you have said. You're so calming and appreciative of the finer things in life. I look at things more creatively and feel more at peace after watching your podcast. Thank you and I'm so glad I happened upon your podcast.

The meaningful stitch says it all. Every stitch is so, Its a calming space for me, with a ripple of your lovely laughter throughout. Your mix of different knitting styles, use of different yarns, your trials and tribulations and love of your craft inspire others to stretch themselves, if they so wish. I hope to go to Yarndale and would love to see you there. I will keep on watching and enjoying your company. Thank you for sharing with us.

Meaningful stitch was the very first ( of now quite a few!) knitting channel I subscribed to about 1 1/2 years ago. So I had a few catch up episodes to what when I found you and was hooked! You have brought me back to knitting, I’d still say I’m maybe an advanced beginner, and I love the tempo of your channel. I also love when you share a bit of your surroundings. Thank you for your lovely channel

About your podcast: I quite like the card draws. The one from this video really spoke to me as I picked up studies again, after almost 10y of break, and though not the most relaxing thing ever, it is trully replenishing knowledge wise. I've been watching your podcast since the very beginning. I was initially drawn to you as you are in Edinburgh and my son moved up there in 2014 to work for Rockstar North (where is Aurora?). We have a lot in common with our knitting in that we both love knitting shawls and neither of us are too keen on sock knitting!! But we both knit jumpers and cardigans. You have inspired me to knit quite a few different designs over the years as our tastes are quite similar too. I'm sorry I just missed you at Perth in March but maybe one day! I love the knitting community you've built up. All so wonderfully supportive. I'm off to purchase the Gallus scarf pattern which I plan to knit with my handspun yarn. Happy days!!!!

I love watching your podcast. Why? So many reasons. Your wisdom, your style, your color sense, -- how you can pull a card for us that is so true for me, like today's card that you drew. I feel I draw so much inspiration from you -- especially with color, but also with your choices in knitting. Your new designs are lovely -- I am especially drawn to the Galey. Loved hearing where that quote came from (I've heard the start of it so so many times, but not the Scotch ending. Fantastic!). Thanks for all you do. Good luck with your future knitting and your future class!

I love the dating your yarn concept! That made me chuckle. Congratulations on the Gallus, it looks lovely. I enjoy the calmness of your podcast and the exploration of making.

Your podcast brings me joy and inspiration. Yes, knitting and yarn, but also so much more. Reminding me to step out of the routine from time to time . Film and book suggestions ( I Ioved reading “The Raven´s Nest” just before a trip to Iceland). Thank you for your company and congratulations on your podcast anniversary!

The meaningful stitch appeals to me, especially, because I love your colour courage!!! I love colour, love playing with colour - not always getting it ‘right’ and I’m not drawn to neutrals (as it seems huge numbers of knitters are…)
Your exploration of colour inspires me to be brave in my choices. Thank you for the superb content.

Congratulations on three years, Amy! I've been with you from the start, and I've always appreciated your mindful approach to knitting - the "knitting practice" part of the intro. It's a nice counterpart to the "consume and produce" vibe I find on many other podcasts. (Not that there's anything wrong with that, either - we all consume yarn and produce things! - but I'm much more a process knitter than a product knitter, and I enjoy (and try to emulate) the way you think about a project, its process, and its place in your life and your mind. It's a "comfortable sofa with good lighting and a nice cuppa" kind of interlude for me. I am 100% here for it!

Congratulations on achieving over 12,000 subscribers! I enjoy seeing all the lovely things you've knitted, but have especially enjoyed seeing the
wonderful relationship you have with your lovely mother. i really miss my mother who I lost quite early so so enjoy seeing those who value their
relationship with their mother. You're both so talented. Thank you for all the effort you put into your videos.

I love your podcast because in addition to the knitting parts, you have such a soothing voice and a caring demeanor. I have been inspired by your use of color and your yarns (discovered Holst Yarn Superset through you, which I love!), but also by your poetry readings and kind words. Thanks for these 3 years, from a watcher who's been with you since episode 1! ❤

I am fairly new to the meaningful stitch, but I have enjoyed seeing your beautiful projects. I happen to be visiting Edinburgh in a couple of weeks and I am excited to shop at the Ginger Twist. I'm going to look for yarn to knit the Gallus Scarf. Thank you for your charming personality and knits. I love your little giggle throughout the podcast!

Many of the patterns in my favorites are from this podcast! I do have a request based specifically on this episode. I would love to see photos of your mum’s Gallus Scarves using the Zauberballs!

hello Amy. ok this might sound a bit weird - but the thing i like most about your podcast is the scottishness of it. (i also love all the things you make - you are like my stephen west concious "knit the mkal, knit the mkal" 🤣) but i learn so much about my county (Australia) when i watch you. The names of SO MANY THINGS in my country came from yours - i had no idea! Susie Gallus was my best friend in grade 4 - and now i know where the name came from and what it means, it makes so much sense. She was fearless and lovely. Happy Podaversary.

Congratulations on 3 years of The Meaningful Stitch and on the release of the Gallus! That boucle yarn is gorgeous - one of the first sweaters I ever knit (back in the mid 1960’s) was from a boucle yarn, I liked knitting with it. I love your knitting esthetic and color choices and the bits of Scots culture you include, but the most meaningful part of the Meaningful Stitch for me is how you have helped me make the important connection between my making and my sense of spirituality. Thank you!

Wow Amy, I can hardly believe it's been 3 years already, my time flies when we are having fun. Happy Podiversary! I have watched you from the very beginning and have loved every single episode. What does the Meaningful Stitch podcast mean to me, well exactly that, I feel like every stitch we craft is meaningful. Our hands hold string and needles which then creates these beautiful objects and memories. Your knitting shared on this podcast is always above and beyond amazing. Listening to you is always a pleasure, so calming and relaxing. Love it! 🤗

I discovered The Meaningful Stitch about a year ago after your talk at the Perth Festival of Yarn: the shawl wall drew me in with your fabulous approach to colour and creativity. And now I watch to enjoy your joyful creative practice, the reflections that you share and the recommendations and inspirations from patterns, books, designers and dyers. I love to see and hear where you've been! Congratulations on 3 years of the podcast!

Hello Amy: I am a senior knitter from Canada’s Capital and I just love watching your creativity flow. So happy you are releasing your creations out into the knitting community. Good on you. I started to follow and watch you a couple of years ago and I’m delighted with your use of yarn and colour. I especially like when you are with your mom! She is a bonkers knitter like myself and producing so many things. I know I don’t need any more knits, I just love making and knitting is my “jam”. Thanks for the effort you put into your work, you have inspired and challenged me. Knit on.

Congratulations on 3 years Amy! The first Meaningful Stitch episodes I watched were the shawl wall episodes - I was completely hooked. Those episodes freed me to just love knitting shawls and not worry about that disapproving voice in my head: "how many shawls does one need"? I haven't missed an episode since and I have knit many more shawls. Thank you also for your shout out to your southern hemisphere followers! - Michelle (Melbourne, Australia)
