Ooh Selma. Such lovely patterns in your bundle and your cardi is just the right shade for your skin tone plus it’s so beautiful Thanks for sharing. 🙋🏼🏴
Thank you for sharing your beautiful cardigan and thoughts on new knits for autumn. Really interesting. Enjoy Rhinebeck. I will be going this year with my daughter - all the way from Northern Ireland to New York state. I had a big birthday this year and decided to celebrate with a trip to Rhinebeck. Looking forward to it. ❤
Hi Selma. The sweater you knitted is beautiful. I like the pattern and the color. I finished today a scarf of 44 stitches in the rib stich for 3 inches on both ends and the stocking net stich in the middle. I crocheted in two rows of single crochet on the edge and it is in sections of dark wool yarn and oatmeal color. I can even use it as a hat and knot it at the neck. It is very soft and warm to wear it on cold days. Take Care. Take Care. 😊
Ohhh you're doing the Hundred Acre Wool test knit! Congratulations on being picked as a tester! This vest is something I have been waiting for for a long time, ever since she started in on her podcast!
Thanks for sharing all of those patterns. It is fun to look through Ravelry for some ideas. Your Mariposa cardigan looks great in that color. Such beautiful footage at the end...thanks for sharing with us
Selma your Mariposa Cardigan is truly beautiful. It looks so flattering on you, the colour, the drape and the texture. 😍 I also love your New Mexico Mug. Maybe we have to go pottery shopping next time 😉
What a lovely episode. Your Mariposa is so pretty. I love the little bells and the colour is gorgeous. All your plans and the patterns you have noticed look lovely and really interesting knits. I love the colours in the sample for the test knit you are planning to do. So complex. That walk looks beautiful and that’s amazing the birds are so friendly they will come and land on your hand. How special. Have a wonderful time at Rhinebeck. Looking forward to seeing what you got up to there and what you bought. Tash :)
@@mostlyknitting thank you Tash!! I’m still thinking about colours for the test knit!! The original is beautiful but definitely not me! Lots of digging in my stash!!
So glad you mentioned the process of knitting the Mariposa. I was contemplating this knit. However, I may wait till I have a bit more experience under my belt. The cone shapes also reminded me of the Jingle cones on the ceremonial dresses. Thanks for the bundle of inspiration.
What a lovely round-up of fall knitting. Thanks for sharing your pattern research. I will be referring back to this episode to explore your picks with an eye to casting on one or two. I always love the serenity of your outdoor footage--a fine ending for a fine podcast.
OH MY HEAVENS your Mariposa is stunnnnning! Love the colour, texture, it is YOU to a "t" . The colour is very New Mexico! That mug is lovely. Thank you for curating such beautiful patterns. I'm dreaming of how awesome that test knit vest is going to be. Have a great time at Rhinebeck if we don't see you before!
Your Mariposa cardigan is lovely, it looks so great on you, I love the color. I don't think I would knit it, though, because of the missing details in the pattern. I have knitted the "Runioiset cardigan" version mini this summer for a friend's child, it is a lovely pattern very well written. I would do it again. Have a good festival ! Thanks for the nature footage, the animals were so cute.
Thanks Selma, always enjoy your sweater picks! ❤Lots of things in my "favorites " as well. Looking forward to your next episode! Have fun at Rhinebeck!🥰🇨🇦Sharon.
Another lovely podcast! Thanks for all the pattern suggestions. I see several that I added to my queue! I’m intrigued about the sideways vest test knit.
Finally, some original patterns, not seen in a dozen of other videos!!! Thank youuuuu ❤ I haven't seen a few of them anywhere! What a shame, they are gorgeous. Thank you for your taste ❤ I'm gonna subscribe now, though I'm here for the first time. A channel worth watching
Your Mariposa cardigan turned out beautifully. Thanks so much for the patterns that you showed. I was very attracted to the Hey Sailor and the Umma top.
Thanks so much Selma for Sharing your beautiful finish!!❤ Incredibly beautiful bundle. The Umma Top's my favorite!! Love, love the footage and music. Always a pleasure ❤❤!!
I’m making the sea glass cardigan! I swatched with fingering held doubly but I thought the fabric was too thick. So I’m making a fingering weight version and I love it. I’m making the largest size to get a size 4. Just wanted to mention this! If you want to try swatching with fingering weight, you might like it. I am using US 5 needles.
I loved your Fall inspiration Selma, you always find the most beautiful patterns- I particularly like the Siri Cardigan, I also really fancy making a cosy cable cardigan as it’s so timeless. Your Mariposa is gorgeous, I remember loving this pattern when I bought the Making magazine several years ago, it just goes to show that classic knits will never date! Take care Selma and enjoy Rhinebeck x
Aegyoknit was invited in Fruity knitting on episode 146. She explained why some of her designs might not seem size inclusive but the construction is done in a way that it can fit many body sizes. It was interesting to hear her design process and the fact that we shouldn’t just look at the number of sizes per pattern. 😊
Thank you for your lovely episode. I made the Raunioiset cardigan and it is fantastic. Now when it's a bit colder here in Finland, I use it as a jacket when I go outside
OMG the Mariposa is sooooo beautiful! When you first showed us the pattern I was " mmmm don't know if I'd choose it".... but it turned out really gorgeous!😍😍😍
Thank you for this lovely podcast….. I LOVE your Mariposa cardigan….. I am so tempted. I really like the Tyne Lin and have a few tops…. I have some KFO silk so I might use that See you next time 😊
I just done the gauge for the Hey Sailor cardigan. I’m using a different fingering weight yarn. I had to go down to 2.75 mm to get gauge and it looks really lovely. I’m going to cast on tonight. I can’t wait

I love it to wear cropped pull over over it for in the winter. A year after the accident, I had to let one of my legs go and I have a prosthetic on one leg, but that has not stopped me. Loved to see your favourites Selma. I have bought the Hey Sailor pattern by Andrea Mowry and to be honest didn't notice the gauge. This is really interesting. This is just so fine gauge for a garment... 😮 ❤
I love when a knitter shows a list of possible knits! The Stromboli by Caitlin Hunter is beautiful. I've seen two podcasters making it. Kristan of Voolinvine yarns. And a yarn store podcaster out of Texas, I think her name is Sharon, hers turned out beautiful. I also loved the Betty sweater. I'm currently waiting on the start of the Stephen West secret shawl knit a long. I think it starts on October 3rd. In the mean time I also bought Stephen West's Mosaic Musings Shawl pattern and will be knitting it. I need to go through my patterns and see what else I need to start on.
