I thought about returning the brave 6 plus I just bought and getting the Akaso V50 Pro SE Leave no Trace because it is 60fps at 4k, or maybe a Brave 7 "because 7 has to be better than 6" but after seeing all the videos online I think I will keep the brave 6 plus! Thank you for taking the time to make this useful video!

EXCELLENT Video - Thanks for sharing! I have watched several videos and read multiple reviews about both cameras and then ordered the 6 Plus, which is due to arrive tomorrow. I keep second guessing myself thinking that I should have ordered the 7LE because it is "water resistant", has a front and rear screen, etc. and would probably be a better camera because it is newer, but after your video (and others) I am glad I decided on the 6 Plus!
Thanks for watching! Actually 7LE was slotted to market 2019 was delayed it carries a generation behind Brave 6 Plus hopefully they'll bring the internals of 6 Plus to 7LE and launch it as 7 Plus. That'll be a great product then.

@@rogeramadon4064 check for rattles the front power button is rattling on some batches mine was so I taped it else your entire video will have rattling sound. I updated this info to them when I received the test unit.

Good work comparing the two action cameras. Quite disappointed that the akaso brave 7 le did not make itself as having better quality, despite it being newer than brave 6 plus. I think it is probably just a software tweak, hopefully later ROM releases will make the quality better.

Hi Chang thanks for watching! Actually the 7 LE was 2019 model and delayed in launch due to you know what then only came 6 Plus. If in the near future they put the 6 Plus internals into the a new 2020 7 LE Plus that will truly rock the budget action cam vlogging market!

On the wooden steps you can see the detail in the wood far better on the 7 le and the sound is far better. It is definitely warmer but for the money the 7 wins definitely
On it's own it is able to pass but being a supposedly vlogging action cam the lack of mic input was a missed opportunity else I think it can be a great option against the higher prices action cams. Thanks for watching!

Hold your horses the brave 7 is coming in December they took reviews feedback looks like they'll get it right & release a real deal dual screen action cam with external mic input too

Richard! You deserve extra credit for mounting that tall tower! Well done video - good footage and comparisons. Sorry about the scratched lens.
In my opinion, (1) the 7 LE's image is wider so we are not seeing exactly the same scene despite the cameras being side-X-side. (2) Sometimes the 7LE appears sharper but sometimes the 6+ seems sharper, but not a big difference either way. (3) The 7 LE has much better colors - at times, the 6+ seems to have an annoying red cast. (4) The 6+ has better detail in shadows but sometimes the 6+ images appear too light. (5)The 6+ seems to have slightly better stabilization, but not enough to make a difference for me (6) Your night footage offered additional proof that all small-sensored action cams are poor at night. Richard - I appreciate your interest in the wetland - we need more people like you.

Nobody is selling it, not even online websites. I guess the virus has killed even the online sales - most people are still selling the older Akaso. Your are limited to websites for Akaso tech and also Amazon.

Shall i get the 7, 6 or se?
Depends if you want to vlog with front screen then 7 LE but it won't have mic input. 6 Plus is better at stabilization & can add mic input via the usb c port. I don't have SE to compare so can't commend on that.
