Great interview. Jacob Arminius needs to be acknowledged for his contribution to John Wesley/ Methodist Church and through the methodist church to Holiness movement and finally Pentecostal churches. He is an unfairly much maligned christian teacher.
@@TheOtherCaleb In Arminianism, it is not grace that makes the difference between who is saved and who is not saved (for all men or all that outwardly hear are recipients of prevenient grace), but it is the will of man that makes the difference.
@@doctorh2005 Arminius fervently taught that God’s grace preceded man’s will. Prevenient grace, aka, grace that comes beforehand, frees the will. Arminius didn’t think he was saying anything novel, as Dr. Stanglin said. In fact, he knew that his view was quite historical. Predestination according to God’s knowledge of those who wouldn’t resist his grace is not a denial of grace whatsoever.

I don't know why no comments. This interview was great. Keep up the good work :)
I am interested in learning more about Arminius' relationship with Dirck Coornhert
Al Go Rhythm🎉
Arminius’ theology is a denial of grace.
That is hilariously false.

It’s a denial of the sovereignty of grace.
Scripture teaches sovereign particular grace, not general resistible grace.
@@doctorh2005 You’re just begging the question there.
WHAT A PITY FULL OF UNGLORIOUS DISGRACE TO GOD SOVEREIGNTY
JACOB WASN'T EVEN FORGIVEN.
