just used this product over the weekend, made an error on the first application and didn't rinse before wiping off the compound, ended up using alot of elbow grease blood sweat and tears to wipe it off lol. still I've had great results so far, just ive learnt the hard way
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING used that on the windows and for the body work I've clay barred it, used dodo juice lime prime and finished it with soft 99 fusso coat, amazing results, so easy to rinse the car now
How do you get rid of the smear marks from the rub on compound after you've already applied the ultra glaco? Inside my vehicle driving I can see the smear marks where I did it fully get rid or wipe off the compound
Great explanation and easy to understand. I already apply glaco glass coating but after I clean it from the wind screen, now I can see a slightly glaco coating residu. How can I get clean look without any residu left?
I had my car ceramic coated but windshield is bad, wipers just don´t do the job, they jump and Im scared this may break the whole system. What would you recommend to do in this case? Will this be an option. Appreciate your comments.
Its good, it took some 2 handed effort to remove with a dry cloth, easier with a damp cloth, still had a couple of bits that had dried on like a varnish that wouldn't rub off, but hasnt affected wiper operation, only left it to dry for about 7 to 8 mins, done 3 screens and been same on all. Run off is very good though.
My glass coating is slowing down and been looking at this for a while, looks really simple to use and the hydrophobics looks mad!! Great video mate, making it so much easier for people to know how to use it best!👌
Out of the topic but I saw you got Gyeon Wet coat on you products. I got some “high mounts” after using it on my car. I didn’t realized that the pressure that I used doesn’t have enough power to disseminate the product throughout the car. So my question is, do you know how can I get rid of the “high mounts”?
@@Hivlahd one spray per panel is all u need, if u need to remove a high alkaline soap will remove it with easy. Tip don't let it dry after you rinse or u get them spots
Based on my recent experience, it does remove precious ceramic glass coating (my case - Polish Angel Glass 9H with primer) effectively only if you use the compound with a machine polisher. A dual action is sufficient. I removed the felt applicator and the clear and orange plastic. Dropped a few drops on a Rupes yellow foam pad and did small sections at a time with a 3” DA. Used a damp low pile microfiber cloth to move the residues and did a rinse after I did all the windows
Great Glaco combo, I currently have the new DX version on that they’ve just released and it is very good too, and the cleaner for keeping them topped up is handy
I wanted to try that but thought I would try this combo as looks just as good not had much rain here but when it rained tiday was very good thanks for watching
Hopefully my plan works. I opted to polish my glass with 3d oxide glass polish and correct pad along with my Rupes MKII instead of doing it like this by hand. I figure a perfectly clean polished surface free of oils with an ipa wipe should be the ideal base for the coating. About to find out here soon lol. That is part of the detailing fun right! Experimenting with stuff.
Hi, great video man!👍☺️ i have a question: i have just applied the compound + Glaco soft 99 in all the windows of the car… If i try to clean the glass, i got always some halo that remains on the surface… Is this normal because it is just 2 days from application? The repellents is great but i am wondering why it is hard to clean… Thank you if you can help me on this. All the best.
Sounds like not all the product was removed when you did the application, I have seen this before Little tip when removing use a damp cloth then buff off
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING after the application the product was not visible on the windshield as for the other glasses. No better than Turtlewax 🐢 Clearvue, which is £3.59 for 500ml spray on Amazon UK and is far easier to apply! (And makes iced-up window screen easier to clean).
WRONG application. Clean the windshield first with water or car soap + rinse and dry + apply Glaco and wash again with water + lastly clean with microfiber cloth. You see what I mean, 9:54, it should NOT be like this. Water will NOT stick to your windshield if you had clean/soap it first.
@@APASSIONFORDETAILING NOP, sorry. That's my routine for years and so as others in our car group. Which is why your being 'rain repellant' isn't as effective as should be.
I actually love this product, easy to use and it works real good
Id suggest diluting your windscreen washer fluid, no need for full strength anymore with the coating on, and it increases the life of the coating.
Thanks for the advice 🙏🏼

So where’s your video showing how it’s done
You aren’t suppose to let it dry completely on. Wet glass, apply compound, let sit briefly, wash off, dry window, put on coating.
The compound you can do wet just gets messy using pressure washer, coating has to set yes it must set
