I can't wait to give this a try!!! And I've just bought your special offer bundle from your etsy store got it all printed out and just wanted to tell you it's absolutely fabulous!!!! xx
Wow they look so incredible!!! Absolutely beautiful! This looks like so much fun i cant wait to try it. So creative!!! What kind of paints did you use in this video Jenni?
I tried this with watercolor and loved it. Waiting for it to dry, but yeah, learning the connections to color has always been super. Hard and this makes it so fun. And I just wash it off :P Thank you.
Thanks for this new TH-cam video! I bought the art bundle and decided to buy the way you get rewarded with the little extra money for bringing in a new costumer. Looking very much forward to taking your workshops! I think I have tried to subscribe to your mail a long time ago and either it failed or you got me off of the list for not reading them. Those newsletters keep ending up in a different folder, so I miss them all the time. I'll try to subscribe again. BTW cute haircut!
Hi Donna are you talking about the Monthly Challenges? They can be found on Journal Workshops, so you will need to be a member of the community first in order to see them (you can sign up here: journalworkshops.ning.com/main/authorization/signUp?) then once your account is approved/or if you are already a member you can find them under the 'Groups' section here: journalworkshops.ning.com/groups (along with all other groups/classes/community activities). It's fun, hope you come join us Many thanks x
Hi Jenni, I am one of those peeps that misses ya! I've been to the kitchen, so to speak... I found the Ning site a bit hard to maneuver around. YT is an app on my phone, super easy. I can watch your playlists over and over without a lot of clicking. I know you said YT isn't your home any more. I can understand that, as you must do what's best for you. I wanted to thank you though... I've followed you for years and you have taught me so much. Mad love for you! xxoo
hi jenni. agreeed, LOVE the hair. Are you prepping the pages with Gesso? Are you sealing the pages once you decide you are finished? Would love to see one of these awesome pages as a background. beautiful.
Soooo much paint on the page! What kind of paper did you use? I think inexpensive paper would "dissolve" under so much wet paint. I will try this in my purchased "sketch book". Somehow, my fingers always end up in my artwork.
yes it's a practice Judi, and even then you can change it up and finish when it feels too early, continue on when it feels like it's done etc - that kind of playing around extends your results x
Lol loved your comment on " If you want a cup of tea you have to go to the kitchen" 😂 made me giggle & ssooooo britsh... is that your own "qoute" persay..? Please can i use that in an art journal page i make..? If thats your own qoute you totally could do a rubber stamp or even a stencil with it hun loves it...im gonna go signe up for your newsletter stuff now ...thank you for shareing your awsome content..🌻😊
Ohh this looks so Nice. I Will give it a try, I guess it could help me with my feelings at the moment. I feel very down so just put down some color and play with it looks therapeutic. Thnxxxx
OMGosh, just what I needed today. I am working a page that is supposed to be something intuitive however it got to be "art" instead. Geesh!!! I'm going to finger paint it and just let it loose. Great idea, thank you!
'Ways to Seal Your Art Journal Pages' - th-cam.com/video/ROXxq3U_-So/w-d-xo.html though this is an older video Tracey so tbh now there are better products for this, my fav now being matt gel medium 💙💙💙
oh gosh....commmmmme ooooooonnnnnn! haha! that question sends shivers up my spine haha overall I've no idea, hundreds, several hundred... but of this 'everyday' journal I show in the video it's about one a month on average I go through x
oh gosh!! a whooooole huge subject, ultimately though I think it comes down to personal preference. I still use plenty of 'craft'/student quality materials, I also use hellishly expensive top of the range ones, it comes down to what I think the project wants, how I'm feeling and what my aim is. As a beginner I'd say just use what you have, any and all of it, and as you extend your collection you'll find your own groove too x
Hi Katinah, there's no charge for joining Journal Workshops it's a free site with lots of free goodies/events/groups. You only have to pay if you decide you want to take a private class but that's totally optional, join us here: journalworkshops.ning.com/ x

How do you know when it's time to stop ? Does that come with practice?
Love your hair!

I like the fact that you are all about the expression not the product
Ohh this looks so Nice. I Will give it a try, I guess it could help me with my feelings at the moment. I feel very down so just put down some color and play with it looks therapeutic. Thnxxxx

So, just out of curiosity: how many journals would you say you've done?

I'm new & just subscribed tonight (5/22/17) to your blog & art workshops. So excited!!! Thanks!!!
as a beginner (though i've been doing this off and on for a couple years) why is it so important to use high quality art products?
oh gosh!! a whooooole huge subject, ultimately though I think it comes down to personal preference. I still use plenty of 'craft'/student quality materials, I also use hellishly expensive top of the range ones, it comes down to what I think the project wants, how I'm feeling and what my aim is.
