I have only this morning found you Jennibelle and to say I am grateful, delighted and inspired is an UNDERSTATEMENT❣️ I now know what I will be creating with my saved greeting cards for, let’s say, the next 5 YEARS or SO! Thank you so much for sharing your GOD-GIVEN TALENT with so many of us thru Utube! 💖💕
This was just what I needed to go smaller in my art journaling! I had been using 8" x 11" (A4) sized books/pages, and after making one of these greeting card journals, as per your tutorial, have found that I really enjoy the smaller pages! The book is much more cozy to pick up and write on, and I find I can make the pages a lot more interesting-looking and layered. I really love it! A million thanks Jenni, for making these videos and helping us expand our creativity!
Miss Jennibellie, you have really touched on a craft that I've never heard of. I became very ill 7 years ago and have kept ALL the get well cards, birthday cards, Christmas cards that were ever sent to me. I just couldn't throw them away for too many memories of my loved ones caring for me. I thought I could use this method to conserve and display them for my memories. Better than storing them in a hidden box! You are an inspiration and I look forward to many more videos from you.
This video was just the ticket. I've got 30 years of cards from our children and had been looking for a better way to store them. This idea will allow me to hang on to the sentimental memories in a beautiful form, as well as add in pockets for those little bits of paper with "I love you Mommy" in 5 yr. old scribbles. Thank you for sharing!
I've been thinking for weeks about how to bind some of the cards that my hubby and I have exchanged over the years, and this is exactly what I needed to see! This binding will allow us to still go through them and enjoy the images and sentiments inside; I will also be adding some photos throughout. It will be his birthday present, he's going to love it. Thanks for the inspiration xo.
this has been heaven sent to me- my mother in law sends us the most beautiful cards but until now they were just stuffed in a box in closet. I made a couple little books out of them and they are cute keep sakes now on our book shelve.
My goodness! These are absolutely fabulous journals! You said, "if you don't like the looks of these journals... " Are You Kidding? these are the sweetest, most gorgeous journals I have ever seen in my life! I love them! Thanks so much for this tutorial!
Hi Jennibellie, brilliant video, again! I'm definitely a fan of your 'as little measuring as possible' philosophy. And I love how the possibilities are endless for each of the projects/techniques that you show in your tutorials. Looking forward to the next one - they're addictive!!
What a fabulous series - your journals are gorgeous and thank you so much for sharing all of your tips and your beautiful art! I am really looking forward to more of your videos.
Wow this is truly amazing. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent, what I liked the most is that your ideas can be implemented almost immediately and not have to think oh I need to buy this or that, it is stuff we already have. Thanks again
Such a great idea! I especially love the mermaid journal! I watched the first part of this video and couldn't understand ANYTHING, so I skipped to this video and when I saw a few of your completed journals.... I fell in love with the idea. Thanks for sharing your talent with the rest of the world. God bless :)

I have a lot of cards that my Mom saved from birthday and sympathy cards that my Dad gave her and ones she received when he passed away. you're very talented. i've watched several of your videos. i love how you take time to explain things and also include the mistakes and how to correct them. thank you :o)
Definitely agree with making a journal for these precious cards. I think it's a great way to honour them & create a beautiful keepsake. I've never really thought of it as an 'area' of crafting before, I guess that because I've never exactly been taught anything I just craft in my adult life the way I did as a child - with anything around me lol. So glad you have found this useful and I hope you'll enjoy making your awesome card journal :) x
Howdy - I will be making a journal to keep those cards I simply adore - thanks for the idea! I don't comment normally and have almost watched all of your videos - you are quite talented my dear - good luck to you in all of your endeavors
Another very enjoyable, educational and inspirational video. Another good idea - to use special birthday cards. I still have all the cards and 'bits' from my wedding day and they are just in a big heap (keep falling on my head when I open the cupboard door. Hope to have a go at making a journal with them.
You teach beautifully and I love all your tutorials I've seen. This is the 4th. I've definitely subscribed and look forward to more. Love, love, love! Jacqueline
Omg this is brilliant. I'm going to do this to bind my cards that I save. I have birthday and holiday cards since I was 1. I don't think putting them in signatures will make sense so I have to figure out something but this will let me add to it!!!
Jennibellie.....Love the design of the spine cover....so clever! TFS and you have a new fan in Florida! Take care and now anxiously awaiting the next video. I could use video edit lessons from you, too! I will finish my Christmas Card Journal and show it on one of my next videos and send everyone your way! x KitB
Hi there, thanks for letting me know you enjoyed watching my vids :) I used a variety of brands and will pick each for designated jobs while painting automatically having gotten to know how they react - for instance if I'm painting a cereal box or something I may use a cheap £1 bottles of plaid, or if I'm painting a face I'll use an artist grade acrylic like liquidtex and pick the 'heavy body' kind. Have you seen my 'Art Supplies 101' vids? I discuss Acrylic paint in vid 1-the second media in xx
