I enjoy playing small town muni courses. East Texas is covered with small town 9 hole courses. They each have their own character to them and everybody I've met have been super nice.

U missed it. Blackjacks Crossing in Lajitas is definitely the best 👍

So the canyons course at Barton creek just got renovated. It’s now 7,400 yards from the tips and ita easily the hardest and best course

Little bit off on your map location for the #1 lol. Black Jack crossing is a must play, but out by the Big Bend National Park and Lajitas. Played half the courses mentioned. Adding the Wilderness to the list. Thanks

Black Jacks Crossing in Lajitas is the clear #1, but you need to fix the map. You missed at least one of the Horseshoe Bay courses, and so many more thinking this is public. Also need to add in Woodforest from The Woodlands.

The commentary is lacking. Doesn't mention course locations, architects in several reviews. Uses same phrases often ("Packs a punch" Calls The Wilderness Course "The Wildness Course". Misses the opportunity to mention that the Rawls Course was named in honor of Betsy Rawls one of the LPGA's greatest members and a member of the Golf Hall of Fame. In regard to the TPC San Antonio, didn't know which course was being shown in the video. Really? The Oaks Course is considered the better of the two according to Golf Week and The Dallas Morning News Sports department. Some additional research and background on each of the courses and why it was selected, uniqueness, history, major tournaments held, etc. would have made the piece more noteworthy. Some notable courses left off of the list: Cowboys Golf Club in DFW area; Memorial Park in Houston just north of the Galleria. Great history and redesigned layout. The Palmer course at La Canterra; TPC Four Seasons at Las Colinas; Squaw Valley Lakes Course in Glen Rose; Waterchase in Ft. Worth, Texas Star in Euless; Blackhorse and Cypresswood in Houston. Didn't disagree with most of the choices but not as informative a piece as it could have been.
Have done a few course reviews, interviewed notable former PGA professionals, worked part-time as a marshal at the PGA of Colorado's home course, The Golf Club at Bear Dance in Larkspur, CO. Grew up five minutes away from Glen Garden Country Club in Ft. Worth, TX where Ben Hogan and Byron Nelson started as caddies. Love the game just like you and like what you are doing, just believe your future scripts could be more informative and entertaining. Thank you. Take care.

He also calls the course rating a "ranking", wth? Both TPC San Antonio & Omni are "stay and play" resorts, yeah you can play them...IF you stay there which isn't what I would define as public. Memorial Park in Houston should be on the list for sure.

Why do you call it a “course RANKING” when it’s a “course RATING”?
