You always have such an interesting array of perfumes, thank you for sharing with us. The weather here in VA has been all over the place. Last week: J'adore, Stash by SJP (very woody & green on me), Kelly EDT and Iris 39. I also have a travel of the Valentino Donna Rosa Verde and completely agree with you, doubt I'll try to get it. I didn't realize you're in MI. Born & raised in MI myself. Find myself missing it at times. 💛

It’s cold and winter in my part of the world..yesterday I was craving Youth Dew by Estée Lauder. Went and bought it - haven’t smelt it since the 70’s - but I just love it! I’m almost embarrassed to wear it as it can be polarising. I’m thinking of getting the bath oil also! Glad to see that you love some of the oldies as well - Aromatics Elixir is a classic. Love your reviews .

Well Wendy……I ordered three more bottles of perfume because of you. Bottega veneta, Prada iris and Connemara. You have my exact taste in perfume. I didn’t get the Connemara yet, but the other two I absolutely love. I bought them blindly because of your reviews. I can’t stop buying perfume. It’s crazy lol 😂❤

Great content Wendy. I'm so sad about Bottega Veneta perfumes being disco'd. They are so well done. The BV cologne you described sounds worth checking out. I wore Exit The King today by ELDO. It a beautiful spring scent but it makes me sneeze. I love green perfumes but sometimes they bother me. I'm really looking forward to wearing Jolie Madame this spring. It's a favorite of mine. I hope you feel better soon!
Enjoyed as usual. We have dry season in my country so I am most likely going to purchase un jaedin sur le nil. I like the Prada infusion de iris but its too fleeting, the recent formulation.
@@wendisparadeofperfumes5034 Wendi have you ever smelled Iris de champs by Houbigant. I am looking for a replacement for infusion de iris. The lalique you mentioned is no longer on the sites I buy which tells me the price will be hiked up elsewhere.
@@girlonsoapbox Oh yes I love that one. More floral than the Prada and slightly less powdery but I really love it. Some find it too soapy/lotiony because of the lily of the valley/orange blossom notes but I find it to be a solid Iris fragrance!

Arboretum and Wildflower & Fern and a few others from this line. Also my mon guerlain edt, French Grey and Roberto Cavalli Her Gold. I will wear other fragrances based on my mood and occasion. Much sunshine from Trinidad.
Maybe you’ve already tried it, but I found that Frederic Malle’s Rose and Cuir seems to have a more prominent leather note and dry down. To my nose, Kelly Caleche is a milder, gentler version of the FM Rose and Cuir. Believe the same perfumer made both, but I can’t be sure.
Wendi. Question not necessarily related to this video because I trust your nose: in your personal opinion, and if you had to choose between the two, would you choose Amouage Lyric Woman or Amouage Epic Woman?
I'm so sorry I didn't see this for some reason! Well let's see. They are both so lovely, and they are both spicy roses with a woody background. And I can't say both. The Epic is a little louder and more expressive, and a hint spicer, while the Lyric is a bit heavier on the sandalwood while being a bit more demure. If I had a gun to my head I'd say the Lyric only because it's a bit more versatile and easy to wear, and I wear it more than Epic, BUT sometimes I'm literally blown away at how beautiful and intricate Epic is. Honestly I love both ... But Lyric wins. Sorry for the delay hope that helps!

I'm even more confused now about Lyric because a lot of reviewers - especially male reviewers - say that Lyric Man leans more feminine (whatever that means) and Lyric Woman more masculine (whatever that means! Yikes!
@@scp5577 I honestly did not like Lyric Man as much as Lyric Woman. By far. I got sucked into the reviews for Man but it just didn't do it for me. I didn't necessarily find it more "feminine" though. Both Epic and Lyric are so damn Gorgeous ♥️♥️♥️

Sur Le Nil is one of my FAVORITES and has been for years. Ugh. I should go spray it right now lol.

I did sample Kelly Caleche, but it just wasn't enough leather for me. Thanks anyway 🙂
