Generally, I tend to wear Chanel Gabriel (OG), Dior J’adore Parfum D’eau, Baiser Vole by Cartier, Frederic Malle’s Carnal Flower, or Hermes Hiris for white dresses or shirts. I know Hiris is a melancholy/cold fragrance for you, but for me it’s a comforting, hotel soap and lotion scent which makes me think of white clothes, clean sheets, etc. Narciso Rodriguez Pure Musc is a new acquisition for me and it’s so addictive! Basier Vole is a perfect choice! So is Carnal Flower wish I had a FB of that one. I like a lot of the J'Adores too and I thought about adding one or two but I had a box full already lol! And I agree Hiris is elegant tho I find it moody. I wish I got invited to parties like that too lol.

If I were to choose “White Dress” fragrances from my collection they would be 1957 (Chanel) Dia (Amouage) Cinema (YSL) Féminin Pluriel (MFK) Loukhoum Poudree (Keiko Mecheri) White Suede (TF) Ombre Rose (JC Brousseau) I want to get my nose on Bottega Veneta Knot. I have the OG and I love it. So glad I found your channel.

What a delight to see your bottle of L'air Du Temps. My mother wore that in the 70's. I loved it, although it was too mature for me at the time. I should get a little bottle. I also have never been to one of those white dress parties. ( don't think I've ever owned a white dress, not even for my wedding..lol) I do enjoy the Pure Musc . J'adore as well. Today was Bubble Bath - so clean.
I wore a black dress when I got married! I have like 1 completely white summer dress and that's it. I'm a slob too so it wouldn't stay white for long. Even the new bottles of L'Air du Temps are pretty well done. Such a beautiful flower bouquet with a lotiony aldehyde on top. Thanks for stopping by Robin!
I also love Knot and have it backed up. Tried Honour edp and found it heartbreakingly lovely. There is something very special about Amouage, at least in the past. I know I would love Bel Respiro but have decided to stick to Chanel’s plebeian line.
Isn't Knot amazing? Ugh just perfect. So are the original Amouage just classic. And for disclosure I was able to buy the Bel Respiro used for like $140, this was a few years ago. I haven't bought a full bottle Les Exclusifs since the price hike so I'm glad I also like Pleb Chanel.

Paris Deauville is so good! It’s a bit retro but also has its foot planted in the now. I wish it was a tad bit less sweet basil is my only gripe. Have you ever smelled Paris-Edimbourg? I feel like you would be into it. Very green, camphorous rosemary and pine. I love it.
I love that "planted in the now" it really is even though it has that retro Chanel thing going on. I actually have some Edinburgh although I've been neglecting it. Sounds like I need to get that decant out!

One to test I think. I liked Honour when I tested it. It's on my wish list and when I am off my no buy I will eventually add it to my collection. Cedar Violet sounds like it could be up my alley. I have been looking at some flankers (limited edition)in white bottles with yellow or blue pattern. Such lovely bottles, but not sure about the scent. The one with blue pattern is discontinued, but the one with yellow is still available. Have you tried any of them?

Yes, they get discontinued before I even register their existence😅 Just as well since I have enough perfumes to last a liftime and well into eternity. Still, I spend too much time reading about perfumes and regularly buy new ones😵💫
