It’s really cool to see a guy like Punk have a moment like this. It really humanizes him after all of his bravado and self confidence on screen, always liked him as a player but definitely respect him more after seeing this.

Man two month have passed from this already, but I can’t state enough how many times I’ve come back to this moment and the whole set really, punks performance was top notch and it really shows how much he not only thinks that he can do something, but that he also puts in the work to make those thoughts reality, putting his craft above any meaningless clout and really going for what matters to him.
I've re-watched this OCV like 5Xs now since yesterday, and the interview still chokes me up! I was rooting for him anyway, but then to see how much the wins meant to him in the end DESPITE the self-doubt was a great thing to see/experience for a player of Punk's caliber. Also gotta echo the props to you RobTV and your interviewing skills, I started off watching the whole broadcast, and there were interviews w/the the players throughout (some 1-on-1 and some w/the the teams), and I was seriously surprised and hella impressed at the depth/breadth of your questions, your interactions and your improvisational skills!!! Dude you DEF have a bright career possibility on top of being a pro player!
