Giving Warframe its own story campaign-like missions was the best decision ever.
It always brings me back.

Its like FF14s patches or Guild Wars 2's living story, having a story component with each major patch, especially a good story, gives many people a reason to come back into the game. This is one of the best additions to Warframe as it gives people a reason to hop back into the game besides just the monotonous grind.
if they would all be coop playable they would also bring all of my friends back.
The resent drift from space samurai to Steampunk-esce biotech ancient Athen/Byzantine is a feast for the eyes.

DE Steve moving off Warframe makes me feel like, based on his own words, this essentially completes his vision of Dark Sector all those years ago.
Throughout the years he talks about new features as something he's always wanted to add and with him leaving I get the feeling he's seen that whole vision to completion

I haven't payed attention to warframe since last winter, today I just woke up from a 1 hour nap and clicked on the livestream, I saw the Duviri world and no commentary for minutes, I think I tuned in at the best time possible by luck or intuition. Fantastic work as always. been with your for a decade, but I keep coming back for a month once a year .

I just love the sword through his chest and Lotus's hand falling. That's really all I needed to see, I wanted to see what exactly the Drifter was up to when everything got so f**ked lol

im thinking the same way too. After when the new war just started when we see lotus hand/ i mean natah has been cut off by ballas, and also cut oyur operator into the void, and what happen to the operator. It seems that this one might be the drifter or maybe something else. it might be connected. Including the dex, hmm that part im not sure but clearly something must be going on involving him.
At the same time, what happened to the khal-175 as we can see his story though, the trailer at the similar timestamp has come out as he probably reject the kind of farmer to search for his sister and brothers. Most likely, erra would be coming back but would be as changing sides im not sure of. Still got confused for some point but it might be revealed soon after months.
For the veso part, im very sure he's dead. However, for the plot twist (its just an opinion though it won't or never happened.) he might be survival from fatal and might be saved from the void, from corpus side related to pravos and as for alan V himself...or the personality shifted to the digital world where he mind can be shifted to another body. This is corpus after all and the story might be possibly twisted inside the timeline of new war as well. But for now, i presumed that veso is dead for now especially after he is firing the cannon to scrafice his life to destroy sentient ship and caught up the explosion involved his, or Alan's ship.
Why do i say about this part? For some reason, i'm kind of suspected that how grineer and corpus would survive without the help of tenno cause at that time tenno is absence which is kind of DE is doing right now i presumed? At the same time for what happen to duviri paradox shown from this trailer possibly during the new war or after the new war or both? Who knows? or possibly the story would be scrapped into i dont know what happen. Its their own making after all. Including the erra become archon, possibly from orokin or the defected narmer, or defected sentient/ factions or something else.
It looks like it's similar to the game deathloop where the same events play over and over.
@@tellmeninetails5819 I actually just realized that he was living a loop or death loop, and then Teshin says "so you finally took the hand" so maybe that whole hand falling thing always happens ever since lotus lost her hand and he just now decided to pick it up and it changed his loop

Warframe has been one of the most expanding games from its launch and just incredible how much the Devs have done to keep this game fresh and story driven. Can't wait for it to continue.

@@selfimprovement5873 No it will just be another content island out of many that releases as an absolute mess. Then they spend a year "fixing" it to get it up to what it should have been on release. And the cycle continues. It looks cool concept wise but it's an open world, I don't expect much.

This is so different from what came before and I think it works. It feels like we're seeing things from someone who is outside of the conflict of the Tenno and the rest of the galaxy. This could easily pass as its own game.
The story is just getting more and more interesting, DE really does know how to keep our interest in it going.

Im pretty sure this quest is taking place simultaneously before and during The New War. With weird eternalism screwiness going on. The Natah hand is kind of an indication. That Drifter is probably just our drifter.

Yep. This is the timeline where your character didn't escape the Void.
But it mixes with the original timeline. First the stab and then the lotus hand... It was originally the other way around. Will the original quests be modified to give glimpses of the drifter, way before we play as him?

The most interesting thing is the coloring effect on it. It's not just desaturate filter, notice that reflections of things that have color, like sun, are also colored, same for lens flares from these reflections, but things directly behind colored semi transparent effects like lens flares, bloom and particles, are still colorless, without making effects themselves colorless. This is just crazy and as a CG artist I want to know more how they made this!

It’s still wild that we get this level of content for free. Warframe has 19 “planets” (some aren’t exactly planets but are still places to go), 3 open worlds, 49 frames, and a ton of weapons and quests. All for absolutely nothing except your time

With the continued focus throughout the trailer on the metal prosthetic RIGHT hand and the detached physical RIGHT hand the Drifter picks up, I'm guessing there's gonna be some sort of story connection.

This is great, hear that it comes earlier in the game... I hope it's used as an opportunity to revisit and remaster old tile sets with issues all over the place from lighting to issues with not physically feeling grounded (on Mars you can basically see you're on a slither of a map)

I hope that our Operator (from the timeline where he agreed to the Man in the Wall offer and got powers) will not be forgotten. I understand that the paths of the Drifter and the Operator have crossed each other and somehow the Operator has returned to his world from void. But... It's hard to change the protagonist when you learn its story and improve your character. I know that at the beggining we didn't had Operator and not even know about him. Nothing and no one can replace main Operator - at least for me. It's fun to meet and experience something new in the game - characters or new stories. But giving the whole story, a separate world and mechanics for alternative Operator, who has a different story? I know that Operator is not perfect, his mechanics and usability are average. I just hope our Operator will not be replaced by Drifter, but updated \ improved. It's a pity that our Operator didn't get the whole new story... It was our Operator who gave the Man in the Wall a hand, he was at war with the Sentients and the Orokin and one who was awakened by the Lotus... We got to know all this - from missions, scannable fragments or from NPCs and became attached to this character. I don't know why they create an alternative version of the Operator - there could be endless options like this. Yep i know - its just DE vision od their game and its story... Still, I have concerns... But also hope that everything will be explained (and that DE will finally tell us the story in such a way that we do not have to philosophize - if they invent a plot / story then everyone should understand it equally without guessing).
I just had a dream about Roon (AzurLane) last night! I was in my old High School wearing my uniform gathered amongst a crowd of students outside the main gate of the school. Then I saw her, Roon, she had the most beutiful looking eyes I’ve ever seen in my life! She looked me in the eyes, hypnotizing me, whilst giving me a smile I’ll never forget! I publicly fell down to my knees and worshiped her like a goddess in front of the huge crowd! I didn’t care, all I knew was to give my thanks and show my gratitude to this voluptuous figure before me. After all that, the rest of my dream is a bit hazy, but I’ll try to recall the best I can. After school, while I was getting ready to leave, I saw her waiting for me! She approached me eagerly; Roon was looking at me with eyes that would paralyze anybody and then I noticed something...she was secretly retrieving something from her back. It was a knife! I was too slow to react and then she stabbed me in the stomach, before I fell to my slow death she gave me a kiss before I woke up lol. Really weird dream if you ask me. (No, this is not fan fiction you assholes, this actually did happen in my dream!)
Operator and drifter are the same person, just from different timelines.
@@GC_Mars yes and no... but still they are 2 other personalities from other Universes, who made other decisions. Drifter never meet Lotus and Ordis or take part in war against Orokin... And we know second history and OUR Operator.
0:29 that was the moment when ballas stabbed us in the beginnig of the new war. And the hand that we see after belong to Lotus, Ballas also cuts it off in that scene. We probably gonna see how drifter came to our reality and what happened to our tenno when he was there.

I love coming back to check on warframe and being like, these guys are still rocking! If I had more time I would still be there with you fellow tennos. One day maybe. Hopefully the servers will wait for me^^.
They said there is a new game coming (didn’t say when) that is named : soulframe , probobly for the next generation to see and understand warframe story and so the story and all the emotions travel to this younger generation through this new game , for me if warframe shuts down one day all it’s servers , I’m going to quit playing all games and live my own life style and leave the rest of the story for the younger generations to Handel , every ride comes to an end eventually , and for warframe it is becoming soon , for all the tenon’s out there that played warframe so far , you are true legends , god bless you and stay save 🥀❤️

Right, the Tenno using the Nikanas are so cool that I HOPE they can actually use Warframe weapons. I was so disappointed that the bow Drifter gameplay was exclusive to New War only.
