I partially agree with your take. I have been married for 26 years and we have been together for 34 years. In the last 12 years she hasn't initiate sex. I have do the work around the house. I keep the kitchen clean, wash clothes, and keep the front of the house clean. I even sweep and mop the floors so that she doesn't have to worry about any of those things. She may initiate sex once every two or three months. If I don't initiate sex we don't have it. This is no longer working for me. I am on the verge of saying the heck with it. We have talked about this on several occasions and I am tired of talking about it. At this point I'd rather be by myself.
Sadly this is a common thing with African women. It's because they were raised to fear sex and intimacy and made to believe sex equals pregnancy. If she happens to be religious the situation 8s worsened. It gets even worse if she is materialistic.
You either have to decide if you love her enough to stay with her otherwise its not likely going to get better if you stay with her. This is one of the main reasons africsn men are polygamous. The girl child 8s raised to fear sex which leads to a likely bad sex experience in future life.
I am in the same boat as you. I have been married for well over 20 yrs and my wife does not initiate sex no matter what. It does get tiring. She will have sex if I push for it but that defeats the purpose of love making. Apart from the sex, she's a great wife and mother to our kids and an excellent home keeper. Therefore, leaving my wife has never crossed my mind. But the process of sex / love making is increasingly becoming a chore.

This tips are super helpful. I appreciate your efforts here. As many men know in a marriage there is never really genuine desire from the woman. Typically a woman will initiate and be open to intimacy until your married. Then it becomes transactional. If the man continues to do his part to provide and protect, there will be occasional intimacy. If he does more work around the home in addition to his traditionally male tasks. He will increase his chances for more intimacy. It's much like a point system. The more you do, the more points. Do something wrong and points are deducted. It will be a mans sole responsibility to be romantic and creating the emotional connection women desire to be intimate. Men must remember that they weren't her first choice. In her past there was a man that did nothing for her and got her best sexually. That's just the facts. At some point you will find yourself doing all the work and always trying to figure out the best way to have her agree to intimacy. I've always felt women enjoyed this attention and emotional connection way more than the actual sex. I suggest continuing with the romance and non sexual touch. Building that emotional connection. But not initiating anything more than that. Get in the gym or find some physical hobby that helps with the sexual frustration and stress relief. Last and foremost. The Vagina is undefeated in the history of civilization. Wars started and Kingdoms lost. So pick your battles with caution.
