    Another great video. I love this series.
    I know you put a lot of work into these (谢谢) but it’d really cool to identify some these folks when you can. There are some greats in this and some folks might not recognize them.

      Hi! Glad you like it. I do put their name titles on the screen when they come up. I also have worked personally with a few of them, such as Wang Wenqing, Liu Dingyi she's orders too in the past. I'll put some photos at the end of the next episode for sure, thanks for the suggestion

    hi Sifu. Stepping was taught to me as "Slide and Glide" as opposed to heel to toe foot stamping like in Taijiquan. Is that what is meant?

      Good day. No, they are referring to the stepping process in xingyi which features an initial pad step with the front foot, a through after with the rear and a follow in step with the foot that is now the rear. This is a full step, a half step features the same without the step through. This is characteristically xingyi stepping and also the posture and weight distribution of 60/40 or 70/30 which is required as a start and finish posture with each step, which is characteristically trained as the basis from San ti shi.
