I loved this, not only does it make me realize the giants upon whose shoulders we stand, but the kindness they show us. Tugs at my heart strings as well as my martial pallet.
Nice insight to training in the past! Interesting the new voice of he narrator but it makes it less personal more remote. Do many masters untill today train differently in public than in private?
Awesome! Is it possible to get the original Chinese memoir by Di Guoyong online? If not, is it possible to get the hard copy in a bookstore, in China or abroad?
@@The-Contractor Unfortunately you are mistaken. Two of the original eight were employed in public security by the government. My martial uncle was and still is a head teacher for the police officers public security department specifically for restraining and arresting methods. The other worked as head of security for the rail road department.

Definitely teach differently to their closed door disciples than to others

It wasn't published in full anywhere. I'll add it to a future book my teacher and I are writing
Absolutely shocking narration!
I couldn't bear listening to it beyond the first couple of sentences.
Tried something different as I was hesitant to narrate my teachers recollection myself. Next episode I'll probably narrate it myself though.
@@MuShinMartialCulturewhat if you could get ‘Morgan Freeman’ to narrate… 🤔
@@marcmastrandrea3593 hahahaha well played sir!
@@MuShinMartialCulture Cheers!
That would be appreciated.
Magnificent
Explains why none of the "Masters" could fight worth a crap. No a single fighter in the group.

Do you have a fight record or are you a military operator ?
