      Oh it was a beautiful bike once completed. You should have seen how it started!

    Got the same bike. It sat in my parents shed while i spent the 90’s and 2000’s in the military overseas. Then got married and kids. My parents moved and i needed to get out of the shed. It had an 1/4 of dirt on it. Air filter was disintegrated and a lot of dry rot. Just started ordering parts for it and they are hard to find, especially that carb boot and a boyesen rad valve! nice work and I subscribed!

      Awesome! Exhaust are also tough to find but they come around. Good luck on the build. Great bikes and the best looking OEM graphics of all time imo

      I don't remember what I sold this one for but it wasn't enough!! LOL!! The 94 had one of the best OEM graphics theme of any KX model ever IMO.

    Personally do you think older bikes can keep up and are just as good as newer bikes

    • @jkiseracing
      @jkiseracing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Absolutely!! The right rider on an older 2T can give a modern bikes run for his money!

    I have a 94 kx125 as well and can't seem to find a new carb boot for it. Where did you get yours?

    • @jkiseracing
      @jkiseracing  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The carb boot that was on it was still in really good condition believe it or not. I did use a thin layer of silicone on it though to help preserve it.

    Do you know if the bud racing exhaust will work on a 94. It says 95. Can’t find anything in stock for the 94

    • @jkiseracing
      @jkiseracing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have seen that exhaust before and honestly I think that pretty much any exhaust for the 95 will fit the 94 just as well

    Is it true that the powerband of that bike is bland? Just torque and a slight push in the middle range and thats it? No top end power?

    • @jkiseracing

      I was able to purchase directly from FMF at the time of build. They are pretty difficult to find and getting harder. Keep an eye on ebay daily and one is bound to show up.

    • @jkiseracing
      @jkiseracing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The graphics on this particular build came from a vendor on eBay. I don't remember on the seat cover. I do use a lot of sources though. Are you looking for OEM style On your seat cover?

    So when I search for a fmf shorty silencer nothing comes up that would fit this bike what did you do. Did you do any fab work or what?

    • @jkiseracing
      @jkiseracing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Exhaust and silencer for a 94 is almost non existent. I searched for months with no luck. Finally I decided to buy the FMF exhaust for a 1995 and it worked perfectly. No modifications needed whatsoever.

    • @jkiseracing
      @jkiseracing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was able to find the plastic by looking for anything that fit 1994 through 1998. Most of it was pretty readily available on eBay. It's UFO plastic that's on this particular bike
