This is so cool, really makes you wish it were official. That would be amazing if this can be done with Princess Daisy to make her less of an echo and more of her own fighter , because Peach’s moveset isnt really fitting for Daisy in some aspects.
You should check out some of the other decloned mods like Mage Ganondorf and KingJigglypuff's upcoming Dark Samus.

@@chaomasterzero4610 Keep in mind the mods I mentioned are for Brawl/Project M, but yes Mage Ganon has been out for a while. Look up "Best Decloned Ganon" for a video that shows the entire moveset. If you look up it's release trailer (called Project Ganondorf Trailer), the creator also shows off "Sword Ganondorf" which is another impressive decloned mod but the moveset is based on his Twilight Princess appearance.
i genuinely do not want this to be offical at all. Dr mario is a flex beast and plays literally nothing like mario
Alongside a Daisy Moveset mod, you know what else would be cool, a moveset altering Pac-Man’s moveset giving him his moves from the Pac-Man World Series, like giving him his rev roll and his butt bounce, that’d be so fuckin cool
The best way I can describe this is that unmodded doctor Mario bought a degree, but modded dr Mario went through medical school and as such now knows how to use the knowledge of the human body to optimally go for your vitals
Theres some genuine production quality behind these animations. They look more 'calculated' but still badass than Marios while still maintaining a similar niche
He's absolutely brutal- so much weight in his punches
Fits way better with his attributes of being a bulkier more powerful Mario

Besides Down Throw, the rest of these new animations look great. I specifically point out Down Throw because, well I like how it looks, something looks off about how Mario bounces off the ground and it has some lenient frames that feel out of place.
Also it's literally the same move as King K. Rool's
I personally like the idea of keeping Dr. Mario’s down throw the same, but changing Mario’s down throw to be a ground pound. Kind of odd to me that Luigi and Wario do one, but not Mario.
I legit thought he was just gonna do a stomp. would've been cooler since Dr Mario in Ultimate is brutal and powerful
When I first saw, I thought the same thing, as well, but then I noticed that it looks like he's defibrillating the opponent using the electricity of his hands and this made me love this mod even more!
Honestly I love this, it really drives home how his character is way heavier in damage dealing than his counterpart is
THIS is what Dr. Mario should be like in Smash!
Still have similarities to the original, but have a more pronounced personality in regards to his doctor prowess and his lack of exercise in comparison to Mario.
Even if there are some ideas in this mod that I have mixed opinions on, this is overall a fantastic mod to help distinguish the doc from his alter ego.
Funny how his new down smash is EXACTLY what I had in mind for him.
Lack of exercise? Is that why he's slower but stronger?
In the description for both his Melee and Smash 4 Trophies, it conveys that Dr. Mario spent most of his time in the lab which is why he isn’t as mobile as the original Mario. In a way, I guess it makes sense!
the down throw just needs a pair of defibrillators and it will be oh so perfect

@ABAgamer_ and his grab is him using his stethoscope like a whip (to give it luigi-like range)
and his idle grab animation is him examining their heart like in the mural, but keep the punch, it sounds hilarious lol.
with how some of the other mods change his side special with a dash, which is not the most creative solution, they should've just gave him a wheelchair that works like a slower minecart, that make more sense and is funnier, tho it means new models.
Wonderful work here! I hope other clones get this treatment. Heaven knows Daisy, Lucina, and Dark Samus, and Richter could use some work.

That modded Up-Tilt is like Pac-Man's but actually good. This is another simple yet effective mod that does a good job at differentiating from the original. I like it!

Dr. Mario finds out you don't have insurance
as Doctor Mario main, i approve of this-
He feels more like a Doctor who checks your pulse and knows where to punch you
he went from low tier to bottom tier with this mod.
frame data got worse for the most part, cant 2 frame with dash attack anymore, his mobility is worse so no followups, up air much worse, down throw was his combo throw and now u cant follow up, down smash was fastest smash attack now its slow but less punishable, but still worse than other characters with the same animation, like bowser jr, since its not disjointed or as long reaching as pikmin. i cant imagine making doc Slower, im surprised theres so much positive buzz for this since all long hes needed more mobility and recovery.
I always thought Dr Mario's reach was too short to be a heavy set character, the shame is I loved using him in Melee.

So basically this mod is like Ganondorf being decloned from Captain Falcon
to be completely honest, I sometimes used dr mario's taunts as idles. So seeing it as the idle was cool

Instead of shooting a big pill wall like Mario's Final Smash, Dr. Mario should instead go to the top right corner of the screen and drop pills onto the stage (like the classic games), launching players, and then unleash a giant pill that covers about half of Battlefield.
OR, he could use the viruses from the game for another kind of attack.
We need one of these for Dark Pit. With all the weapons in kid Icarus uprising it could be REALLY cool!
That grab pummel is very satisfying. The palm to the chest is 👌🏼
I love the changes made here. Gives this Mario more of a power feeling when he attacks. The only things I would change is his pill throw seems a little... I dunno weird? Like his movement at the end. Also his down grab could be he lays them down like snake does. It would be cool and funny cause that’s kind of what doctors do.
Other the love the changes. My favorite is probably the taunt change.

Something that could be cool is that on some attacks that involves eletricity, he could use that thing that i forgot the name that makes the heart beat again
Plus for the sode special, he could use a hammer that cant go too far, but would make enemies trip
And the pills could have either flame,eletric or freeze effect depending on the color, that is randomly selected by the two colors on the pill.
Never saw Mario giving that Street Fighter uppercut before

Very great stuff. Up-smash and pummel always seemed off to me because the idea of a doctor using their head for an attack was always strange to me. It would have been funny if he used a reflex hammer for his pummel. Maybe during grab animation, he'll hold his stethoscope up to them.
Imagine having Sephiroth, Steve Minecraft, Pichu and BOTW Link gets their own modded Final Smash
This will be the closest thing we might get to a completely original character
Still wish that his F-Throw was him putting his stethoscope on his opponent's chest which would freeze them
As Dr. Mario, i admit i could've had this moveset but nintendo said i was just a very special echo-fighter.
Named "Doctor Mario" but is more brutal than Mario
I think his down special could have been a special pill or his special skill from Dr Mario World, he even could even diagnose his opponent which would deal damage to him
You can tell a lot of the new moves are either inspired by or directly ported over from other fighters. New jab is like Falcon's jab, new f-tilt is like Ganon's f-tilt, new up tilt is like Mii Brawler's up tilt, new f-smash is like Little Mac's f-smash, new down smash is like Pacman's down smash, new up air is like Terry's up air. Back air more closely resembles the brothers' SSBM back airs that last longer. Overall though, good looking mod to differentiate my doc main more from the plumber normie.
Hopefully, in the next Smash game, Dr. Mario will be more... doctor-like in his attacks and animations.
Or maybe he will just get scrapped

Considering Doc is largely an afterthought addition to pad out the roster, I wouldn't count on him returning. At least on his own.
Original F-Smash is heart massage: one of the few doctorish moves, so I guess it's better not to mod to fist punch.
But this moveset is really cool, I love it!
I love all of changes except the jumps, rolls and down throw. They feel a bit messy! Everything else is great! It's a really well done mod!
I think you deserve a job at Nintendo given how good you made these animations, it's so much more powerful looking at these attacks. And Doc was already one of the more expressive fighters, and this just makes him even better.

The animations are really cool and well done, but it honestly just feels like change for the sake of change. The changes don't really feels inspired by anything in the games, which makes sense because the Dr.Mario lore is obviously quite limited. This is basically just de-marioing his moveset. It could've gone in the direction of giving him more tools that doctors have or including the viruses from Dr.Mario but it's just Mario but more generic. At least the animations are clean asf

All it needs is different voice lines and this would be perfect
Would've been extra cool if the whirlwind move has the virusses swirling him and being expelled outward at the end.
These changes are really awesome, love the change in animation with the pill and forward smash especially.
But damn that gut punch in the grab looks amazingly and suitably sadistic for Dr. Mario haha.

I absolutely adore this. This is almost perfect. But I feel there should be some more Dr. Mario or Doctor moves, stuff like viruses, test tubes, injections, etc. Also, the final smash having pills come down to crush foes like in the original Dr Mario game. If you ignore that, it’s perfect.

I like this for the most part. It somehow makes it feel like Doc has his own distinct personality from regular Mario. Big fan of the new down taunt, in particular.
I'm not sure if I like the new forward smash, though. I think the animation lacks some "oomph" to it. Maybe exaggerate the wind-up and add some squash n' stretch? Down throw is kind of odd too.
This have to be the best Dr.Mario. Goku d-smash, ThunderPunch and a Sparta Kick!? Mr.Sakurai mentor this guy.
that nes utilt and fsmash feel very reminiscent of brawlers utilt and fsmash. moreso utilt, but im not complaining, this is sick
They should have put the Stage Clear theme from the Dr. Mario games for his victory theme, as well as his little spin and peace sign animation (Good idea for a taunt) from Dr. Mario 64 and Wii.
the worst part is that most of these are just slight tweaks made to make the character feel unique, something that ultimate needed a lot more of

Honestly I would prefer to have Dr. Mario as just an alternate costume. I don’t know why they decided to treat him like a different character. It’s still just Mario y’know? I mean why have two Marios? It feels unnecessary.
They should make his Final Smash put them in a Dr Mario game with pills raining down on them
