In Sunshine, F.L.U.D.D should not count, as he is a part of your character. Same goes for Cappy and Luma in their respective games.

Mario isn't touching the background (in the 2d games - that's closer to Mario). Why would you count it? I wouldn't since he's not technically touching the color.
I don’t think backgrounds or some foreground features should count since it goes against his _own rules_ , you can’t “interact” with a background or even some elements in the foreground, it’s just _there_ . Also, if there isn’t brown under Mario’s feet, I don’t think that should count either. Plus, you are correct, Fludd is a part of him, just like Cappy, and as players, we have no control of Fludd before we use it, therefore it shouldn’t count if it is 1. Part of Mario and 2. Not being used. Toad’s shoes shouldn’t be counted unless you can actually interact with Toad, such as jumping on him, and even then jumping on him wouldn’t count since there’s no brown on his head, and passing by him would make him a non-interactive foreground element. I understand the flowers in NSMBW because they _are_ foreground elements that can be interacted with, but everything else doesn’t make sense.
It’s a way to keep the video under - around 10 minutes

In SMG2 its Brown background and for SMO even if Cappy counted then he still touched Gold not brown

The nighttime lighting makes Nandy think like, “what looks gray now must be brown during daytime” … This goes for both Super Mario Galaxy and Bowser’s Fury (in the separate video).

You know, I watched like 2 of these challenges before I realised how they go:
Step 1, look for anything brown or of the respective colour in any way.
2. Say you failed because of said color, even if it's blatantly untrue.
3. Move on to next game and repeat.
Galaxy was BS. There was no borwn on that grey.
I looked a total of 10 times, and he never touched brown in Galaxy Two

He should'nt have risked that, he would ignored the blocks and the powerup, then move on.
You fools the powerup is in the upper block not in the one surroundet by the brick blocks and also there is a normal mushroom since hes tiny mario and not in multiplayer

Some Objects don't interact with Mario such as semisolid backgrounds
In 64 Mario only touched the brown door after you "lost control" of him. I expect a retry posthaste

I understand this whole series isn’t meant to be taken seriously. 4:55 where he purposely jumps onto the brown for no reason shows that, but I don’t get why he doesn’t just do it properly- it’d still be entertaining

1:05 That tree in Super Mario Bros. 3 was in the background, same with the fences(4:00, 6:35). 1:40 That wasn't brown. Not only that, but that fence in Super Mario Bros. 2 was yellow. 6:35 A yellow fence in the background somehow counted as "touching brown". Many other instances of seeing brown where it wasn't or taking way too long to decide whether a clearly not brown object is in fact not brown. 8:24, for example. In Super Mario Bros. Wii, you didn't have to jump there. 4:55 You could've just run under the brown blocks. Seriously, that was especially dumb. In Galaxy, I couldn't even tell where the brown that killed you was. 5:30 The red star bit? The toad in the background? Maybe next time make the rules consistent and sensical? Just a thought.
Also in cap ki6ndom, that *Golden or bronze* rim shouldnt have counted anyways
