EDC Bag: Peak Design Everyday Sling

In my search for the perfect EDC bag I came across the new Peak Design Everyday Sling Version 2. The pros are the design and build quality but it does lake some better organization features but this is supposed to be a small camera bag so that is why there is lack of pockets. That being said since I am using it for some camera gear it may work out well, let me know what you think below.

How would this work with a J frame revolver? Can I attach a holster with Velcro to the inside? How fast would it be to open? This would be for my backup firearm. Thanks.
