In case anyone is wondering, the 3L fits a FujiFilm X100V (with the vented lens shade attached) very nicely. The divider/shelf holds both conversion lenses,
Listening to Zona is like listening to a good friend nerd out on her latest purchase. In both cases, I simultaneously listen while ordering the thing. My 15L zip backpack hasn’t even arrived yet and I’m already adding this 6L to my “want to purchase“ list.
I bought 3 peak design bags. I love how as soon as you put your hands on it you know it's designed with great attention to detail. This bags give me the same felling as playing with Transformers as a kid.
As soon as I put my hands on the bag, all I felt is how the outside material scraped off the top layer of my dermis that got imprinted as a semi-permanent stain on the front of the bag. It's got a rigid shell, sure, but there are cheaper bags that are designed way better for actual camera use without such glaring problems, e.g. Moment Rugged Camera Sling.
I'm just thankful that you are making all these great products - you guys just seem to get what photographers want and need more than other companies. Also I really like the metal parts on your stuff, it just feels better and more durable than plastics. Gonna get the 3L for sure (and probably a Capture Clip) :)
Thank you, I got the 3L and I just realised how to propoerly use the divider and found out that I can carry not just 1 but 2 extra lenses on top of my camera and its mounted lens. The bag is great !
Just received the 3L for my Sony A6000 w. Sigma 30mm 1.4f. The bag feels bigger than expected, great news - quality feels mint. Looking forward to use and abuse it! Awesome video, thanks!
I got the 3L for the Canon R6 and it fits just fine and it's also my everyday bag for work and it fits anything I need it too. I removed the divider and I swear it's an endless void space

I found that i can pass one zipper head across the ring of the other zipper and that makes really really secure the bag, something specially important in the place where I live...
Zona is almost as crazy as I am. I've played this clip 3 times now and still cannot decide which bag will be the one I'll order (6 or 10l). I'm also looking at the backpacks as replacement for my old Lowepro Protactic bags I use today for transporting my gear. Looks like I have to watch a lot more clips to decide on what I want and need.
Great vid! I really like your stuff but I still don't get why you dropped the charcoal color option for so many products. All my v1 items like the backpack, the field pouch, the range pouch, the messenger bag etc. are in charcoal. For me this color has always been THE Peak Design Color. Sadly it's gone now for most product lines. Would really love to have it back for upcoming releases. Cheers from Germany! ✌️
We really loved charcoal too. But sadly, it just wasn't a big seller, so we ended up having to scale it back to a bittersweet memory, like that afternoon in the little cafe on the Champs-Élysées, with the warm bread and the red wine served in wooden goblets. So long, charcoal, we'll always have Paris.

Nice fun video keep it up But I have one question that I like to ask to Peak design team why is it from 6L to 3L sling bag can only be place on one side of the shoulder other or both side of shoulder because one side of your should is carrying the weight then the other or other people like to carry on the other side of their shoulder???
Zona, I hate(*) you for the sound you make, when attaching the external carry straps. I bought the 6 liter after watching this (I love it) and each time I attach these I hear this sound in my mind. Viral marketing at its best. (*) No, I don't hate you really.
Finally a video with a bigger camera, not all of us work with the little pocket sized ones. But still, Bertha was in the bag without a lens. I've been trying to figure out what size can take a 6D with a grip and a lens attached or do i just have to go with the backpack?
FWIW I can fit my 5D classic with attached 24-105 f4L, charger, two batteries, and an 85 f1.8 into the 6L. That’s probably a similar size. The trick for me is to adjust the dividers so the camera body is up and down, shutter down, and the lens goes across left to right. The 85 fits under the lens and the batteries/charger go next to the body.
@@fivearrowsnhphoto8804 Thanks for the input. I happened to find a Think Tank Sling-o-Matic 10 which was a perfect fit for a 6D + 70-200mm or even a 150-600mm. Now that i have a R6 + RF 70-200mm they fit basically anywhere.
Just bought the 6L. wish it fit the 12.9 iPad. The 10L is too bulky and would assume it gets hella heavy. Bought the v2 backpack for longer trips though. Best of both worlds.
I own a 5L & 10L slings. Love them, BUT, not easy to bring a large water bottle (20-32oz). Can you guys come up with something for this? Everyone carries water, right?! My son is working on a metal ring / strap (with rudder padding) to go around the bottle and attach to a PD QR plate. Then use capture.

So here's the thing - I'm off on a holiday and looking to purchase an EDC to hold various small items including a Fujifilm X100V, small water bottle, and glasses. I purchased the Bellroy Venture Sling 6L and think it looks great but is a bit smaller than I imagined tbh considering the 6L size mark. For example, the Peak Design Everyday Sling 3L camera bag - yes 3L - (superbly made also) has almost the EXACT same dimensions, looks able to store pretty much exactly the same amount of items and is extremely well crafted with comparable weather resistance etc - BUT quite a bit cheaper. Why is the Bellroy so much more expensive and named 6L, when the Peak Design of the same size is 3L ??????? Is there something odd going on???
I tested it in a store a few days ago. It is nice and the padded area on the strap is comfortable but it's not possible to easy move the padded area to use it on the left side, right side, more to the back more to the side quickly. Sure you can adjust the lenghts on the left and right from the padding but that's rather difficult and there is small amount of leeway. Therefore, I am still hesitating to buy and still looking for alternatives...
I have the (old - everyday Sling) 5L Peak Design Sling. Compared to the knewer 3L it looks the same size. So upgrading to 6 Liter from 5L seems more the actual only on Liter? Charming and informative presentation by the way.
i wish you could add PD Links to the bottom of the bag and use PD Anchors to attach the tripod back. Using the straps that come with the Everyday Sling is just too cumbersome for me and I have attached anchors to the tripod bag anyway already.

i feel that you guys really should have made the 3L to be able to hold the iPad mini. It would have been the perfect everyday carry for a small mirrorless like the fuji x100. Please please include this in the 3L in the next version!
And another thing to feedback is that the corner of the velcro on the flexible divider breaks apart easily. my first pull of it and the corner tip broke. not that its anything major.

Ive got the 40 L Pack from yall. Im about to do a 4 month trip. Ill be visiting friends in the UK and in Greece then hiking Annapurna basecamp in Nepal! Then a month in India. Since my trip is long and varied and includes a serious 6 day hike - as well as having been using the pack for a trip I’m on now im finding myself wishing i had a brain on the bag like on most hiking packs. So heres my question…. Im wondering if i could use the anchor spots on the everyday sling and clip them to the anchor spots on the peak design bag to create a removable modular brain?! It seems like a fantastic idea on my head. Im not sure which size 3 or 6 would work best but im thinking the 3. Any suggestions or comments for me @peakdesign? I have a fuji xt4 and am bringing 3 small to medium lenses.
I have to use a cane when walking around - on my left side. For photographing events where I'm walking around I have one camera on a shoulder strap with the camera hanging on my right side, with another camera body and a couple of lenses in a waist bag, which I have to position to get out of the way of the cane on the left and the camera on the right. I like the looks and size of the 10L, however, from the video it appears as though one cannot convert it to a waist bag - is this correct?

Update - I bought one, it actually does, pretty snugly, but with the right technique it goes in there.
This is the perfect bag for the combo.
A quick note, I just got my 10L sling and it fits my 14" MacBook Pro. It's a SUPER roomy bag.

I got the 3 litre and can just squeeze in my ZVE1 with 16-35 Sony Zeiss lens, my Tamron 28-75 zoom and my Sony 24mm but it is a tight fit.

Nope if you use the v3. It fits perfectly as it is. But if you put big camera, it may sneak peek from its sides. I use a6400 and it's fine
