      6 looks like a good size and it fits an ipad. Also fits the mavic air 2 fly more combo. Or a 2 lenses and a body. I feel like anything over 6L is starting to be a small duffle bag 😂

    Amazing what I fit into my 3L: Fuji X-S10 (granted, a bit smaller than many mirrorless) with XF 16-80 lens attached and a XF 55-200 lens. Both lenses have reversed hoods attached. In addition, I fit into the bag 2 spare batteries, 2 extra SD cards, and a remote release. A tripod is strapped on the bottom. Great for travel. Wonderful construction. If you need to pack anything more I would recommend the 6L.

      I think reviewers definitely underrate the 3L. I'm able to fit an X-T4 with 16-55mm lens attached, plus 2 prime lenses with room to spare for some personal stuff. If I need anything more, I'd just take a backpack since it distributes the weight better anyways.

      @@LimitedWard You can fit all that?!

      I feel like, the 6L could fit everything you need, except if you go for very large zooms. (like bigger than 70-200 equivalents). And that is already too much. It defeats the whole concept of the sling/everyday carry. Of course you don't have to fully pack the 6L, but tehn you might as well go for the 3L.
      That one fits 1 camera + 1 zoom lens. or 2 smalmaler prime lenses. The 10L is so big, if you pack it, it probably gets so heavy, you'd have to carry it as a messenger bag.

      @@Terradrift It's just a matter of making a third mono channel that has both tracks and then put that underneath the final edit. That way there's less separation while maintaining the stereo feel (which I love). It's a bit like those Beatles mono records that were remastered in stereo: too much of a good thing tends to ruin it.

    can we use the 6L as a replacement for the Laptop backpack?
    My backpack mostly contains a 13inch laptop, a Water bottle, few small gadgets that fit in a pouch, and few documents like passports and all.

    Helpful video! Please fact check 10:57 though. Largest contributor to greenhouse gases is actually transportation (oil). Sustainable leather does exist and you can read up on the Leather Working Corp I can also link a video that explains the impact cattle has on our world if instead 🙂

    • @Terradrift
      @Terradrift  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      For those reading, the time stamp is 09:47. The exact phrasing was “one of the largest”. Leather is a byproduct of the meat industry [factory farms] which has a massive environmental impact beyond what a simple emissions chart is going to show you. Just the manufacturing of leather has a long way to go, too, in terms of sustainability. The leather tanning process is pretty nasty. There are processes that are more “eco-friendly” but using non-leather materials is best when it comes to sustainability, especially if they’re made of recycled or plant-based materials. For facts and figures, check out this article: terradrift.com/is-leather-sustainable-why-synthetics-are-more-eco-friendly-than-leather/

      Let's be real. The tiny leather patches in these bags (let's say 15 cm²) once prodeced emissions of about 50 to 500 g of CO2. That's what I emit during a single hike. These are sustainable emissions in both cases.
      Instead, most leather alternatives are made out of petrol, wich is far from being sustainable. There are purely plant based alternatives as well. I couldn't find any information about what PD is using, though.
      In both cases, chemicals are added and consumed during production, e.g. for staining. But that's true for any product produced nowadays.

    What which size bag would you consider for someone who has a DJI mini se fly more combo and a folding landing pad?

    • @Terradrift
      @Terradrift  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use the 10L for a Mavic Air 2 and the fly more combo with room to spare. Don't quote me, but for the mini, you could probably get away with the 6L.

      😆 Yeah, the lens on the left is the 24-105 mentioned and there’s a pancake lens on the camera. Anything more then a pancake and it wouldn’t fit.

      Agree, those are impôrtant values but the leather thing was really nitpicking.
      The environmental impact of a few grams of leather is certainly negligible compared to manufacturing a brand new camera made from parts that have travelled the world, from materials that are mined, transformed and transported themselves.
