Brandon, you can get that grease stain out by rubbing a little Dawn dish soap into it before you run those pants through the wash. I've saved many shirts with this technique.

The KFC around here was hiring and the workers were desperate to go on vacation. They had not been off for vacation sense December. It's really bad around here.
2 things: 1- In PR the double down never went away. We've had it since it came out in 2010, year round, all the time. 2- For that grease stain, just put a lot of baby powder on top and bottom and leave it there for 24 hours or overnight.
Man it was probably like 13 years ago for me too. All I remember is that it was so wet (greasy/mayo/melted cheese/whatever) that the "bun" were sliding off with every bite. Thanks for the memory!

So, for grease stains on clothes, BEFORE washing dust the spot with flour( or baby powder) wait about 20 minutes then wash as usual. I usually just dust the spot well and then throw in the hamper until wah day. Hope someone can use this tip.

I don't know about the States, but in Canada KFC is now basically inedible: tough, dry, rubbery and flavorless. If you order a 3-piece dinner, you get 3 pieces of glutinous dark meat. If you want white meat, it's $1.50 extra per piece, and it isn't much better. I remember a time when we had KFC for all the kids' birthdays. It was unthinkable to have anything else! Now it's barely recognizable as chicken. What happened here??
Tried it. Decided to eat it split apart (so it was two pieces of chicken) with fork and knife instead of as a sandwich. Its still as good without the greasy hands. Although the one I got, still spicy, wasn't as greasy as the one you got.

Back in 20210 there was a less greasy option with there grilled/baked chicken version (probably due to the Adkins diet craze at the time) it was in my estimation better than the regular version of the sandwich at the time which i think extra crispy but both were pretty good.
I happen to go to KFC for the first time in 10 years today in fact.. To see a 12 piece bucket sell for close to $40 blew my mind and close to $60 if you wanted sides. To my taste, there was very little flavor in the regular version It was tender and moist, I give them that, but there was no aroma or taste of the herbs and spices like there used to be. For health reasons it seems they reduced the sodium so that does contribute to the bland taste. I doubt I will ever return, for I can just as easily stay home and chew on a moist sponge.
I had one of the spicy DD and I'd say the bacon is a throw away it reminds me of the bacon Holiday inn express uses , flavorless, paper thin (shave off $1.50 from the sandwich and eliminate the crappy bacon) . My sandwich was juicy , pipingly physically hot but just one tiny little corner had hot sauce on it.... so it was basically the non spicy version. From what I could tell the spicy version would be the better of the two IF you happen to get any spicy sauce.
Have you tried Culver's yet? I looked it up and there are two south of Vegas. One is in Mojave City and the other is in Kingman. I have to drive about 40 miles to the closest for me, but I am addicted to their tenderloin sandwich. I also love the potroast sandwich but get the bun on the side - the meat is so juicy, the bun gets soaked immediately. They have frozen custard called concrete mixers which I don't like but my son does. I would love to see the two of you do a video on checking Culver's out.

I know they could cite 'the national average', but I think that number is bullsh*t, just like the Japan number is bullsh*t (and the Japan number is straight up bullsh*t, a lie, and I can prove that/you can check that). On the KFC Japan website, I don't see that sandwich, but I do see a sandwich with two similar chicken cutlets INSIDE of bread, and it costs $4.90. It does not have bacon, but Japan does not have bacon - so Yeah, the combo with fries and a drink is $7.65, but they're currently running a promo so it's $6.89 today. So here, you could get MORE food, because of the fries, for around $14. That's INSANE, the price of fast food in the US is highway robbery. DOUBLE what you'd pay here, and people definitely don't make twice as much. ...when the price of fast food starts to reach restaurant price points, just stop going. This sandwich might be particularly expensive, but it's not that far off (been to a Carl's Jr. lately?). You can go to one of those fancy hamburger joints for that money. I'll never understand the complaint that it's greasy... it's fried chicken. People don't complain when they get a drumstick or thigh and their hands get greasy, so why is it always a constant complaint about this?

The trouble with KFC is that stores are inconsistant. The store nears me keeps going through mangers and most of my orders are inedible.
Last time I went to KFC, my order took 30 minutes and was somehow dry as if it had sat all day. Every time I go there, something is wrong.
