Compassion: Bringing Light into Darkness (A Charity Piano Recital)

A charity piano recital on 27 October 2023. We were blessed to have Alyssa Kok, an award-winning Singaporean pianist, joined by Alison Hui on the cello.
Alyssa is a 20 year-old award-winning Singaporean classical pianist and historical keyboardist. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in piano performance from the Mozarteum University of Salzburg, Austria at age 18. At age 20, she obtained her Master of Arts degree in piano performance at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland, with distinction. Alison is a Singaporean music teacher. She started learning to play the piano at 5 years old. After completing her studies in music majoring in piano, Alison picked up a second musical instrument - the cello. She has been playing the cello for more than 10 years now.
The recital let audience left with feelings of hope and peace; a sense of optimism that there is light in the midst of darkness when all of us care for one another.
