To be honest, I completely agree with you. I have owned the fx6 for a year now and it's hands-down an amazing camera. However, I find myself not being able to "just create" easily because of the size compared to the my days of using a smaller body camera that can just be anywhere and everywhere with me. I have been thinking of getting an fx3 for the past few months now so I can shoot more on the go stuff and still get superior image quality.
And also I forgot to mention it takes photos too! Haha. My honest opinion if you do get the fx3 you’re gonna neglect that fx6 so much just because the fx3 compact versatility and file size
I’m in corporate video. I got my FX-3 first which is excellent. My FX-6 about a year later. They serve two different purposes. I look at one as a workhorse and one as a two seater sports car. My FX-3 is excellent for B-Roll, flying it on a gimbal and versatile. The weakness is all day shoots on a tripod for an 8-12 hour shoot. The FX-6 is my workhorse for those kind of jobs. Can you rig up an FX-3 with rails and a V-mount? Yes, but it’s much easier to use it as a B-Cam than it is as my A-Cam for my workflow. As a matter of fact I even bought an FX-30 for my C-Cam.
@@prodigyvizuals3160FX3 is all someone will need as a TH-camr or even a wedding videographer. But if you're planning to build it out in to a documentary rig, I think it's cheaper to start with the Fx6.

I should have bought the fx6 first.
Really? Why is that?
@@prodigyvizuals3160Everything you said is accurate. But for me the fx6 internal ND made things easier.
@@racemode I agree. Im thinking about doing a video on the fx6. Because TH-camrs arent getting in depth on how good that can be for future users

I agree, I never considered anything other than a camera body... And after the FX6 I got two FX30s as B and C cameras. It's a dreamy setup.
