    Thx for the tip ... Also, the best "cheap" alternative I did for some of my rental cars (2016 Optima/2019 Altima/2017 Maxima/2015 Sentra) that did nor come with Bose systems were to install front door & rear Deck 6x9 JBL's so for about $150 I seriously got a major affordable upgrade ...

      Yes I agree the rear deck speakers in mine is only 50 watt 6x9s but I do need to add to the rear doors and upgrade the rear deck. I think I will leave the fronts alone because they actually thump though

    I just bought a 2024 Sentra SR Premium with Bose system. I removed my dual Kicker Comp 12s in ported box and Rockford Fosgate R2-250X1 Prime 250 watt mono amp I had in my 2016 Altima SR before it got totaled in an accident. I wonder how it'll sound with the stock Bose system? Then again, I'm hesitant to install it due to all tech in the Sentra not wanting to screw anything up.

    • @TheRealCountryBoyModz
      @TheRealCountryBoyModz  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I feel you on that one but it should sound good with the Bose system. Luckily I think they have the wiring kit out now for these cars you use to had to splice into the rear speakers with the rcas to go into the amp for sound.

    So, I have the same model as you do, except my altima is gun smoke grey. Have you had trouble with the sound?As far as the right side is a lot louder than the left? Also, how many speakers does the altima have? Is it 8? 2 in the dash, 4 in the doors and 2 in the trunk? I just discovered this channel and you got some real helpful advice. I appreciate it!

    • @TheRealCountryBoyModz
      @TheRealCountryBoyModz  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Appreciate you for discovering the channel and no I haven’t experienced any with one side of the speakers being louder than the other. Now it can feel like that since you’re on the driver side but the other side is actually on. As far as the door speakers all systems without the bose speakers come with six total which are the two in the corners on the dash, two in the front doors, none in the the rear doors, and two in the rear deck/trunk area… with the bose you’re gonna have the two in the corners/ one in the center of the dash, all four doors, 2-3 in the rear deck and they all will be powered by the bose amp

    As a new '21 Altima owner I've found your channel helpful - especially the interior LED light mod which I recently installed. However, I have to call out this video for inaccuracy. Not bc of the sound settings you chose, but bc there are no universal "best" audio settings. Sound settings are subjective based on so many factors like personal preference, music genre, audio source, etc. I'm speaking from the experience of having multiple after market audio systems (in my new Altima I have Kenwood Excelon XR's for mid & highs in the front dash & doors and rear deck powered by a JL Audio 600 watt amp and JL Audio 12W6 sub for bass driven by mono 600 watt JL amp). It's great that your settings work well for you, but to say these are best all around just isn't true. Also, my personal preference is to turn Speed Sensitive Vol all the down bc I like my volume steady vs fluctuating (and having an external amp let's me play loud enough that road noise is never an issue for me). Lastly, these are MY preferred settings based on my equipment and my personal preference, but YMMV: Bass-2 clicks +50%, Middle-50%, Treble-100%, B/F-Even, Bass Enhancer-On, Speed Sensitive Vol.-0%

    • @zolfey
      @zolfey 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have an aftermarket system installed as well I think he just means on the stock system which honestly after i took the stock speakers out I realized they are honestly decent they aren't shitty cardboard speakers like most stock. But yes I was gonna say the same thing audio is subjective, also I would replace your stock headunit asap it makes a ton of difference when you have aftermarket speakers. I got the 8600NEX, shitty thing is I would 100% have a place install it there was a lot of custom harnesses that had to be made because the IDataLink Maestro isn't available yet for gen 6 altimas.

      @@zolfey I considered adding a sound processor to get more EQ customization, but passed for now. I don't think I'll change head unit bc my goal was/is to have aftermarket sound w/ factory look. Only visible difference for me is the sub & amps in trunk.

    • @chrisosborne2383
      @chrisosborne2383 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheRealCountryBoyModz My original point is still valid that stock, aftermarket, or both doesn't change ideal sound settings being subjective. Having said that, your settings are not that different from mine. Ultimately your sound settings are the best for your liking and mine are best for me. Best advice for getting best sound is to pick a song you're very familiar with, turning volume to normal listening level, start with all settings at 50%, and then adjust until it sounds good to you.
