    Stereo software will not update and shows last checked : January 24 2022. It's now late August. Check for update button doesn't do anything. Any suggestions?

      Thanks for the question. Here are a couple thoughts:1. Is your in vehicle modem connected to WiFi 2. Try connecting your car to your home WIFI and try the download again. Not all Nissans are equipped with over the air updates, if yours is not then step 2 should work. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

    Thanks for the informative video, I want to ask something about rolling down windows using keyfob. I own Altima SV 2021. Both my driver and passenger windows are automatic (reads A) and working fine with the switch. However if I press and hold down the unlock button on keyfob, the windows do no roll down, is there a trick to activate this feature?

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the question. No your doing it right. And given that the window switches have the “A” on them it should work. Make sure you’re holding down the unlock button for 3-5 sec. Sometimes it takes a bit before they’ll move. If that still doesn’t work try going into the settings icon on your infotainment screen and see if under locks or windows or comfort etc if there is a place to turn that feature on or off. Thanks for watching!

    Thank you for the informative video. I do have a question though. when I connect my cellphone by cable to listen to my music collections on my phone hardrive, the music stops playing on and off on my car. I checked the update of the radio's software, but there are none. I tried to reset the radio, but it did not fix the problem. What should I do? Thank you for your time.

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the compliment and for the question. My first thought is a faulty USB cable, try one you know is working. My second thought is to see if there is an update for your phone, or the music apps that you are using when the music stops Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

    Great video! I just bought Altima 2019 S and I was wondering how do I switch speakers. As of right now only the front dash speakers are working and back and passenger left and right are not and I was wondering if how can I change the setting to make the passenger left and right speakers work. Thank you in advance

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the question. Click on the settings button at the bottom of the infotainment screen, then click on sound. You may need to scroll down a little but then you should see balance and fade. Adjust the fade until it’s in the middle to hear sound from all the speakers. You can watch me show how to get to these settings by starting to watch the video at 17:25. Thanks for watching!

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the comment. There is no reason it should be. You could try resetting the infotainment system back to its defaults. Short of that I would suggest taking it to the dealership and have them diagnose it and fix it. Thanks for watching!

    Hi, thank you so much for your helpful video. I keep setting the display brightness to be bright but it after goes back to the same level in Automatic, do you have an idea how to keep it bright at a certain level?
    Thank you again!

      Your very welcome! Typically vehicles have a couple of choices (day mode, night mode, auto, and manual mode) when it comes to controlling the display brightness but this vehicle does not have those. So my best suggestion is to see if there’s an update for the system you could try. Short of that I’d suggest bringing it to the dealership to have it repaired under warranty. It shouldn’t be changing once you manually adjust it. Hope that’s helpful and thanks for watching!

    How can I adjust the settings to make it show clearer during the day. Sometimes the screen is useless when the sunlight hits it, you can’t see anything on the screen.

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the question. There should be a button just to the left of the steering wheel on the dashboard, it has what looks like a speedometer with a plus on one side and a negative on the other side. Press the positive number to increase the brightness of the drivers information screen. Thanks for watching!

    • @1god2savem34
      @1god2savem34 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TwoGuysandaRide I’ve tried adjusting the brightness. It’s just a bad screen, worst thing about the car for sure. It’ll be the middle of the day and you can’t even see your navigation or your back up camera.

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@1god2savem34 ok try this as the infotainment screen has its own brightness adjustment. In the infotainment screen click on settings, then tab over to the second set of screens and click on “others”. The first thing you’ll see is display, click on it. From there you can adjust the brightness of the infotainment screen. Hopefully that will help. Thanks for watching!

    What can I do if the screen is stuck on the menu screen???

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the question. You could try disconnecting the battery, wait about 5 min, then reconnect it. Or you could try pulling the fuse for the infotainment screen, wait about 5 min and then put the fuse back in. Short of that, you might need to visit the dealership. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

    • @fakename5197
      @fakename5197 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Press and hold the volume knob for about 7 seconds and it should reboot. If it does not pull the fuse for the radio / stereo, wait about 2 minutes then reinstall the fuse.
      You should be all set. Mine did it a few times when I first bought it, gave it some updates over wifi and not a single issue yet.

      @@ohdatsmiracle8091that’s a good question. I have seen issues with connections crop up after an update, usually an update in the phone, so could be that? Have you tried updating the cars software? Just an idea
