These days, I take out the Altima for a drive just to listen to this sound system. Its really nice, handles any kind of music with precision. Somehow the Bose system worked out for this car. I had the Nissan Maxima Platinum 2017 and honestly the Altima is sounding cleaner than the Maxima inspite of not having a dedicated subwoofer. I wouldn't have gone for the Altima if the sound system did not keep up the standards for sure.

It's good to know that Nissan is still keeping their partnership with Bose. I have a 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL and one of the main perks for my vehicle is definitely the Bose sound system. All of my friends that have ever ridden in my car always think that I have amplified subwoofers in my trunk but it's just a stock 8 speaker Bose sound system.
DJB Bose is Nissan’s premium sound system, and it’s indeed amplified this isn’t the stock sound system
@@JM-cx6ze yeah definitely amplified I have done some research on my car and they say it's only pumping 150 w but it sounds so much more than that.
The best balanced Bose system was in the 2007 Nissan Maxima & 2001 Infiniti Q45. The 2020 Altima just has way too much bass and this is coming from a moderate bass head lol.

Xm Radio / HD radio sounds amazing. Bass is just enough as well IMO when I’m jamming out.

Have a 2020 Nissan Altima S model. The volume control knob doesn't work but the volume control on the steering wheel works fine. Any idea what that could be caused by?
I didn't find the sound system particularly impressive myself, acceleration however was much better than I expected once the turbo lag passed.
I really admire your work. But, since this is my first car with a built in audio system, I'm really disappointed. This system is nothing compared to my two 100Wrms pioneer speakers with one 400Wrms sub. I had high expectations when I first bought the car, thinking "Bose? WOW". Not to mention the stupid sub location!

Could you do one of the Honda accord sport 8 speaker sound system I have the 2.0t and I think it's a bit below average. I'd still wanna hear your thoughts about it.

Only the SL. Sport Luxury. If the Altima you get has leather seating, it's got Bose.

How come when my car turns on, it shows that front speakers are the only ones displaying.. How would I be able to use the back speakers too?
What trim level do you have?
You must have a 2011 nissan altima 2.5 the trim below the s model that has only speakers in the front
^ All Atimas come with a minimum of four speakers. In the front doors and rear deck. Though Jasmine needs to specify what’s going on. It can be a fader issue or just that one or more speakers are blown.
@@infiniteblaz3416 that's incorrect. Depending on what year she has the altima did not come with 4 speakers around 2011 or 2012 or somewhere around there. There was the base 2.5s but then they made just a 2.5 and took out the speakers in the rear and something else.
@@occckid123 Buddy. I had that Altima. It had 4 speakers with whizzer cones, the front speakers were made by Blaupunkt and the rears are usually Nissan proprietary 6x9 drivers. The 2.5 (base) comes with almost everything manual and you no VDC which also made the car more “raw” but slightly more powerful to drive.
Also 2.5 S is higher than 2.5. 2.5 S often added a driver power seat and VDC with the same amount of speakers, sometimes an automatic passenger front window was equipped. SV & SL had the six speaker Bose system.

Those who say that Bose is fantastic is because they have never heard a complete Pioneer stereo from the 80s. Plus, you can't change anything about the Bose system if you want to improve it. And Bose speakers have very low quality in construction, only optimized for its equipment, but cannot be changed for better ones. Bose is very jealous of other brands.
Bose sounds so hollow and idk bland AF! The sounds doesn’t come alive! Bose never impressed me in two vehicles the murano and the cx30
The Bose sound systems in new gm cars sounds like straight up ass. I had some Bose computer speakers I had to return too they were awful.
No because I had a whole Tahoe with Bose but when I got in an Altima with Bose speaker, tell me why it sounded better
Bose has always been great in the Maxima’s and Altima’s. But you got a CVT in there ruining the whole car and it’s reputation so...
Would you consider an Altima if the dealership offered a lifetime powertrain warranty?

Dont buy Nissan, I owned a Nissan Murano years ago, its the worse decision I made
to buy this scrap. Not only the quality its poor, but the service. I live in Mexico
and the Nissan shops are very corrupt, they steal the people by not doing the
service they should. Tons of people report they don’t get the oil changes and
replacement parts they charge. Problems are never solved properly and there are
tons of complaints. I am glad they are sawing what they deserve.
I made may complaints and never receive attention, Now I am with Honda, Ford and GM. Better quality at least for the same or better price cars.
just because you had a bad experience with Nissan dose not mean they are bad. you will get screwed either way you go its a car not a trophy if it get you to point A to B then its good. Plus if you don't want a dealership working on your car to change the oil and what not do it your self you coward. then you wont be screwed by corrupt mechanics. Also the whole Nissan Fleet has change and been upgraded to better stuff , but you would not know because you had a few bad run ins with people. Nissan aims for an affordable car. yeah they do skimp out on somethings here and there but what did you expect. now you bought a base price 32,000 dollar SUV which as far as I can see isn't worth that price so again you screwed your self. Now I have a 2020 Nissan Versa 5-Speed Manual and its perfect. not to mention I have read up on the car and since it was completely redesigned for 2020 I took it for wait for it $15,345 USD. that for a nice compact car good storage and all plus Brand New. now did you buy your SUV new I don't know this you do. do research before buying a vehicle and you might be as good off as I was, or not your choice. But the fact is stop telling people Nissan is bad because you had a bad time. suck it up grow a pair and move on . simple yes right it is now I'm going to finish this video and enjoy it just to spite you :) have a blessed and also learn to repair your own car unless its at such a state you are unable to.
@@deamussan1198 Nissan cars are the worse care in the industries, all you need to do is google Nissan Maxima/Altima since 2010
and you will always see the same problems , CVT transmission problems. My friend bought Nissan Maxima 2016 and i will show you the list of problems he got with it : 1- Transmission CVT and the car was almost new, not even 20000 kms on it, and he had to go to the dealership 5 times before they were able to resolve the problem, 2- Rust on the top of his car 3- Rear light had to be change because water get inside and had to pay it more than 600$ 4- The screen freeze completely but lucky he was because it was under the warrenty. So this is not one case problem, it is quality problems that repeat year after year and no surprise that the company is almost under Bankruptcy in USA !!!
@@chopin111 You literally just proved his point. Ok your friend had a dud Maxima? That doesn’t mean all of their cars are terrible. I’ve live in an area where Nissan cars dominate and many of the owners are happy with their cars. They aren’t popular for no reason.
I rather have it then a Chrysler lol
2023 Nissan Altima and it’s amazing. Cvt is smooth and consistent and so many people judge the cvt off of what it was like 6+ years ago
