    Mr. Olsen, I cannot express the gratitude, joy, happiness or whatever adjective one can use to say it is a honor it is to see an individual with the heart, desire and the honest feeling of wanting to give back to this world like you do daily. It is just unexplainable to me to know that there is STILL people like you in this world today. THANK YOU. Kerry Taylor

    I sent them a cease and desist letter and they still send me bills and debt collectors

      right, I took their advice too and called these people they told me to lock myself up in a nuthouse and these debt collector are still suing me in court. They also told me just lay down and not try fighting them, the advice I seen on youtube is opposite so I am dealing pro se now and I know that I have little chances to win.

    I can’t do a refinance because of a old judgment because of a Discovery credit card.

      @HELPSNonprofitLawFirm  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A judgment will show up on the title report as a lien and can prevent a refinance unless it is paid or settled adn the judgment lien removed. Depending on your equity and state where you live a bankrutpcy could result in the judgment being removed as a lien on the property. However the bankrutcy itself would delay ability to refinance. Then dependiing on your age and equity in the home ar reverse mortgage could solve the problem. You can call HELPS with questions. Eric

    Won’t a judgment destroy the senior’s credit rating? Can they protect their credit rating from judgements?

    Iam a Senior in retirement age according to the Social security Administration...63...not full retirement yet...66 and 10 months and still 7 years from late retirement..70. I been sued by an original creditor, I filed the Answer so they couldn't get thier default judgement but they did file a summary judgment so I went back to court and filed for the Stay of the summary Judgement and writ of posession. Now I have another Court day scheduled that not the original date...3 months later and I filed for Montion to Compel Arbitration... but if my assets are protected( Not land or House just as car and bank accounts) do I need to go through with it for the Arbitration??? And what about this summary judgment issue....should I just not show for it ???

      You don't mention your source of income but if it is SS and pension then it is protected. And as you say your other assets are protected then seems like you have already answered your question. Here is a link to another video from HELPS that should help: th-cam.com/video/3SEzEZXGs0k/w-d-xo.html Eric HELPS
