I did this on my 03 s55. Then I feel the trans is more solid and tight and not as comfortable and smooth as before. I change all the solenoids like in your video. Mine was black top.
Hi how are you ? Thank you for your beautiful, informative videos... I have a big problem. After changing the board, testing the solenoids without pressurizing, complete disassembly of the valves, installation of Sonnax, draining of new BVA and converter...connector to controller, my problem remains the same...box in degraded mode and not more than 3000 revolutions.... It goes from D to R with jerk and does not shift gears... I cannot pressure test the solenoids.... thank you for your help...
I did the valve body upgrade on my e55 and while doing it noticed my car already had blue tops! Definitely notice a difference in shift timing doesn’t make the car shift any faster. But I do believe the timing change does make a difference in performance when racing. I’m about to purchase my second m113k but I think I will just go with the mk ultra tcu tune instead of the valvebody stuff
Why did you install the first one without removing the protective plastic? The factory put that plastic cover in the box to protect the plugs so that they wouldn't get damaged, but you're making a mistake and showing people the wrong way. I hope your card worked correctly.
wassup adam glad the transmission is fixed up on the e55 i had a question for you regarding mercedes star diag or xentry or das whatever you wanna call it how did you get it to run properly on your computer i got a s55 amg and wanna code out the secondary o2 sensors also some other goodies but cant justify paying like 1000$ for a certified computer especially some people have been able to get it to work on their computers for free Thanks and keep up the great content man love the additional body filming for ya makes a big difference !

You put them in dry, would a soak in fresh ATF have been safer for any reason?

Who did you go with for it
Valve body upgrade kits work great for 722.6 trans
yes I am looking into that for my slk32. but one thing at a time
Thanks Man!
Okay video.... Yu should change the plug too and clean valve body.
yes on the plug just did not get the part. but that is easy to do any time
My2004 50k miles, transmission connector was pushing transfluid in the harness, I found it inside TCU. Change connector periodically.
ya the nag plug goes bad often and the are a cheap part
Thanks for the vid!
Happy to help any Mercedes’ worker

Not expensive??? It’s over 1k for all these solenoids alone😣
@ronniedoorzon1576where did you find them that cheap? can you comment the source??🙏🙏

Why would not you clean the valve body?
I did just did not show it
Have you done the drive shaft flex discs & the center support & bearing ?
not on my e55. they are not bad
When I bought my 2005 e55 it already had the blue tops in it so idk what the factory shifts are like
Some came with them stock
