Nice vid My cars got 185,000 miles so I think engine mounts have been done would you still pair them with lth? Is breaking a stud really easy on this car or not too big a concern with caution? My car is a california/utah car so very little rust.

I recently got a fixed pulley like the one in this video that I plan to install but I didn’t get a tune with it. It’s a 72 mm, (only 2 mm smaller then stock) should I worry about not having a tune yet for it and hold off on installation till I find the proper tune? Or just go for it

Hi Adam, the old creative steel mounts were terrible and shake the whole car. My steering wheel shakes probably 1/2" up and down at idle in 1st. Do these new mounts still cause massive vibrations? I basically wasted $300 on those old mounts and I'm trying to justify giving this company more of my money.

Heck yea new vid! Does anyone in the aftermarket make anything like traction bars for these lol? Such a sick drag car!! :D These AMG's have limitless potential with enough time and money. I've seen quite a few C208 CLK and W203 C-Class drag cars converted for full bore strip work. These Mercedes and AMG's are hidden gems. This era of cars are going up in price, but are still abysmally low compared to the quality of automobile you are buying. This may mean nothing, but judging by history, it seems most of the time when high quality and/or highly desirable things are super cheap because of artificial reasons, they eventually skyrocket to an astronomical price if they become extremely rare and unobtainable fast enough. Have fun with them while you can, these will get so expensive one day that modifications will be strictly for the rich. Love the videos man and hopefully no long term damage occurred and things cleared up in your E55! :D You are showing the world what these cars are really made of :D

How is your transfer case holding up, I have seen a few with 35's break it, just seems like too much stress for them. Is there any option in these to swap to lower diff gears ?. ✌️

Wasn't there any issues with hoses and wires in engine bay? Because some of them are attached to engine which sits on frame and some of them attached to body. Also what about steering column?

Any idea why my idler pulley is touching the belt wrap kit bracket. Seems like the idler pulley is too far inside. Can’t recall removing a bracket or spacer behind it.

2 piece rotors look good! The weight reduction and heat management they offer are also great perks. If they weren't so pricey I'd probably be rocking them too since my rotors are starting to look a little tired lol. But will be treating myself to those surge tanks on my c32 sometime soon and will definitely be using your code! Curious too see the difference, I also have a 82mm TB I'll throw on as well.

Two piece rotors also reduce heat transfer to the wheel bearings , which is another benefit. The calipers can also be removed using the two 10mm internal hex bolts and you can leave the brackets in place. Torque is 110 Nm. Brembo is the original supplier of brakes to most AMG 's ,,,they are excellent components.

Bro you gonna be changing those brembo pads.. I got the best grip from them but you will need to clean wheels after every drive from all the brake dust..

If you have a pulley too small, your compressor produces to much psi? Get needswings crosstubes, it will lower pressure inside intake, as the capacity rises but compressor produces the same amout of compressed air... You can lower intake pressure/temperature of charged air.

Fcp sold me used ABC parts, i disassembled the car, when i found out that all the parts in different used condition, i was not happy. Called them, they took them back, but refund came on this fking store credit... Those used parts were painted with black marker, but they forgot to remove rust...

You skipped one step with the new pads. It's best to follow a braiding process to bed the pads on the new roter in the first drive.

400whp in an auto 2wd should be very close to 500hp at the crank. To support this you'd need dual 2.5 into single 3.5 exhaust. Dual 2.75 into single 4 will support about 630-640hp at the crank. Dual 2.625 into single 3.75 will support about 570hp and dual 3 into single 4.25 will support about 740hp. So you might want to look into potential exhaust restrictions. Also, for a future build, look into the Chevy LV1/LV3 platform V6. I'm very confident that with the right headwork and narrow LSA cam (AKA a David Vizard style build) you can make 400whp N/A with that engine at stock displacement, and up to 450whp with a big bore+big valve build. An FBO and cammed engine can also put down more than 750hp and torque at the crank with a turbo. And given that it has only one exhaust valve per cylinder, the same exhaust setup should produce similar sounds. The goat swap would be an LV3 combo'd with a ZF 8-speed using a Turbolamik trans controller. You can even hook up a third pedal to that and run it like a manual, or a budget-friendly version of Koenigsegg's lightspeed transmission if you know anything about those. Not to mention the other functions the Turbolamik gives you with the ZF8 or how a ZF8 with the 'Lamik is almost as easy as a 4L80 swap.
