Hello all, if you're having this issue in 2024 a easy fix might be that you have Mono sound enabled in your sound settings! Make sure to disable this if you cannot resolve this issue with this fix! Also, this fix still works as a work around as well. Thanks

You are welcome. Just a FYI sometimes when your turn you pc off and come back you need to make sure dtx spatial sound is still on.

Thanks for the video man but its not saving when I select DTS Headphone spatial audio, I select it. close it. Check DTS, cant enable, reopen settings, shows as not being selected, and redo. It never saves... on windows 11, any idea why I cant save it?

I love you dude I spent like 3 hours going through why DTS wouldn't activate and my man had the instant solution before even being asked, earned a sub and a like.
But correct me if I'm wrong here, GHubs surround sound is garbarge and sounds super muffled or as if you're underwater, just testing DTS now and it doesn't sound as bad definitely a huge impovement but I still feel like the sound is muffled a little, or is that just how surround sound works?

@@Ethan-km4lx I found this on reddit and also other people said that to fix the muffled sound, you have to go in:
Control panel > sounds > select your headset > properties > advanced > change the format quality to fm (16 bit, 32000hz)

enable dts still greyed out for me in dts sound unbound. did everything u said. also everytime i close down the settings in spatial audio with dts enabled it resets it. i guess ijust have to live with the kinda shitty ghub surround. dts just wont work :((.

I have been searching about the headset and aparently it might be reliant on more recent or full sized motherboards to have proper audio or else you will get that ringing or hissing noise and no mid sound only low and 2 high

Hello, I can't turn on dts spatial sound in windows, it is grayed out in settings and it only shows "off" option when I go into device properties. When I was playing around with dolby instead of dts it only worked without logitech DAC, so I plugged my headphones with mini jack and it worked, with dts it won't show up in windows settings. Please help.

@@luisfernandopereira4635 yeah I figured it out, I simply uninstalled Logitech and dts software and installed them again but in specific order. First install and configure dts and when spatial sound is working you can install Logitech software but don’t ever try to turn off spatial sound in windows cause it may stop working requiring you to repeat this process all over again.

@@a1xhuncho59 I have dts app installed. The button for "Enable DTS" is grayed out. The windows sound enhancements section where you get windows sonic, Dolby, dts, I have no options to pick from

@@TechnologyHell also you can go to Settings, system, sound, under output go to your headset and press the arrow on the right, scroll down to spatial sound and select it there
Does Dolby Atmos sound better on the G PRO X then the DTS? I bought Dolby Atmos for another headset and don`t know witch one is better.

I think Dolly Athmos is way better than DTS. Ipersonally use Dolby with my pro x.

hey sorry for the late response. if you are on win 11 delete dtx. Make sure you have the updated ghub and turn your surround sound on.
I believe they did a update and surround sound should work now. Let me know if that helps.
Nothing happens when I click to change the spatial sound. I hit apply and nothing takes.

I'm glad I could help you. No I'm not 100% sure why GHub surround sound doesn't work after awhile. My only guess would have to be that the pc switches sound settings some how when you are in game. But I'm not 100%.

if you have a problem like me where your g pro x is stuck in surround sound regardless of turn it on and off, then try to change the format quality to 48000hz (DVD quality) this fixed the issue for me..

Appreciate you, but I have a question. If I go to the Sound setting and click device properties-->special sound, there I can't switch it for anything. What can be wrong?
My first question would be did you download DTS from Microsoft store? If so make sure you reinstall ghub. Then go back to special sound settings after you load up both programs and you should be able to switch it. Let me know if this works

I tried all steps and for some reason every time I try to choose DTS Surround sound in windows settings it goes back to off. Tried with and without ghub, just does not work.
Hey man sorry this didn't work for you. I do believe since I made this video they did a update to GHUB you can try turning your surround sound on in GHub.
Also, I moved on from this head set to DT 990 Pro head set.
Do you have to turn on dts everytime? and do you have the enhancements tab in the sound options in windows to add the bass boster ? i tried changing up the drivers manually i have 2 in the pc but it only worked for my speakers not the headphones
just use the surround sound, its amazing... It has a fix, got to sound settings, speakers and under output settings, set the format to 32000 16 bit FM Quality instead of 48000 hz...... use the surround sound, its way better

Hi. I can't seem to get it working on Windows 11. After I uninstalled the driver and did the same process till the spatial sound, no audio is coming from the headphones.

Hello my old heaset was the Razr Man O War the sound was really perfect and today i get the g pro x.
And when i play in valorant the sound is like muffled and it's so hard to sound where the ennemis is.
With my razer the sound was perfect, i know exactly where the enemis is and more.
The quality was so nice and i was only 50% of the max volume.

i have a g733 and i cant get surround sound to work I test it I cant hear channels correctly. i go to my brothers computer he has the same headset and it works I can hear directional audio. i fucking hate g hub I cant get it to work .
will this fix a issue of everything sounds fine but it game it just sounds super low, i play valorant and its not nearly as loud as my previous, razer nari headset
Try messing with your EQ settings. Have you tried that out?
It worked after turning off immerse by logitech and uninstalling the g pro x wireless drivers
dude I downloaded the dts sound unbound app but it says " generic over the ear headphones " instead of g pro x wireless.
Try closing dts and ghub and reopen them

When I reinstall g hub, I can't turn on spatial sound in Windows settings. However, if I get the licence without having to install ghub, but I would like to have ghub to be able to use Blue Voice
Make sure you follow steps all the way through. Go to sound properties and turn it on there.
@@Tariq-Abu-Adam he is on windows 10. Windows 11 is the problem . Either Microsoft need to address it or logitech needs to address it with their software for windows 11. I have the same issue and am on Windows 11 .
