Thanks for this fix as I was just about to give up trying to access the free license then came across your vid. On a side note I use APO free EQ with Peace plug in to boost everything on this headset & it kicks ass. Now having surround function normally on top is great. Thanks!

Just a comment, Make sure when you uninstal GHUB, that you turn off the surround sound from the beginning. Otherwise when you re-install, its activates it by default making you even more made at another tutorial!

My surround sound doesnt even work!!? It all sounds the same. I don't have any directionality

Hello all, if you're having this issue in 2024 a easy fix might be that you have Mono sound enabled in your sound settings! Make sure to disable this if you cannot resolve this issue with this fix! Also, this fix still works as a work around as well. Thanks

I tried all steps and for some reason every time I try to choose DTS Surround sound in windows settings it goes back to off. Tried with and without ghub, just does not work.

Hi. I can't seem to get it working on Windows 11. After I uninstalled the driver and did the same process till the spatial sound, no audio is coming from the headphones.

The dts-x won’t apply for me every time I try to apply it, it just changes it back to the off selection

U sure ur setting up that specific game setting n not just adjusting the desktop setting

If you are on Windows 11 and your spatial sound setting will not stay on, you have to uninstall the Ghub app. It will stay on then.

if you have a problem like me where your g pro x is stuck in surround sound regardless of turn it on and off, then try to change the format quality to 48000hz (DVD quality) this fixed the issue for me..

Hello, I can't turn on dts spatial sound in windows, it is grayed out in settings and it only shows "off" option when I go into device properties. When I was playing around with dolby instead of dts it only worked without logitech DAC, so I plugged my headphones with mini jack and it worked, with dts it won't show up in windows settings. Please help.

Tip from me check if you plugged the cable right way. Just lost 3 hours trying fix sound.

Thanks for the video man but its not saving when I select DTS Headphone spatial audio, I select it. close it. Check DTS, cant enable, reopen settings, shows as not being selected, and redo. It never saves... on windows 11, any idea why I cant save it?

FOR ME THE ONLY SOLUTION IS DISABLE ALL FONCTIONALITER AND USE SECENDARY DRIVER WITH SOFTWARE FXSOUND FOR PLAY FPS GAME LIKE PUBG STEAM. AND NOW HEADSET WORK LIKE WIRED VERSION. AND ALL PROBLEM FIXED

Hi there. for me DTS doesnt recognize that i have a Logitech Headset. i am logged in - it just doesnt say free to use or whatever. pls help

Everything went well until I got to the Spatial part. Its greyed out in both the quick access right click on sound bottom right of desktop as well as Device Properties. No way of turning it on. DTS recognizes my headset, the headset is all activated on sound settings, up to date you name it. Oh well......dead end for me. Win 10.

enable dts still greyed out for me in dts sound unbound. did everything u said. also everytime i close down the settings in spatial audio with dts enabled it resets it. i guess ijust have to live with the kinda shitty ghub surround. dts just wont work :((.

Nice job. Though I’m glad I didn’t do anything you told me… I got the headphones and tried to test the surround sound but it was just stereo, directionless audio. The quality was really bad too and my mic wasn’t working. I thought there’s no freakin way it’s this crappy… so I did a mechanical do-over. Turns out I didn’t plug the jack all the way into the headphones. It feels like it’s in but you gotta push hard. Lol. Surround sound is great sound quality is great mic works.
