Using Windows 10. Your suggestions do not work for me. Advice?

I am confuse i finally activated the dts but should I use the surround in the lg hub? and what about games that support 7.1 native just activating surround should be enough? thx for the video I realize that the audio tab on the taskbar is bugged you need to select the spacial sound in the other menu.

Seems to work for me out of box but I’m always looking for ways to hear footsteps louder on cod😁

Well i found this fix for me on a reddit comment. After following others advice of uninstalling Ghub and sound unbound, then reinstalling them both I still couldn’t get it to work, so next step I did was unistalled ghub only, then the sound unbound app goes back to asking you to buy or try for free, choose try for free, then you can choose dTS in sound settings for your device and the sound unbound app should change to good to go or enabled or whatever. Then go back reinstall ghub again, DTS will stay enabled. Note. Do not reinstall Ghub until after you have DTS headphone X shown as enabled in windows sound settings. never turn on surround sound on ghub.

Recently Logitech published a software update that broke my surround sound. I fixed it and here is how. 1. Open settings (search 'settings' in the search bar if you cant find it it should be the first option) 2. Select System (below home on the left hand side) 3. Click Sound (Second option down) 4. Select, from the 'Troubleshoot common sound problems' pannel OUTPUT devices (do NOT select input). 5. Wait for the popup to load the menu of your output devices, it may take a while. 6. Select 'Speakers - Logitech PRO X Gaming headset... blah blah blah...' (or something along those lines), mine was already selected by default but double check and click Next at the bottom right. 7. Select Yes, open audio enhancements. 8. Follow the instructions given by the panel, but when prompted about the sound quality pick 'Bad', this will make the trouble-shooter reinstall the software. 9. Allow your computer to restart fully, hold your horses it might take a while, and go back to the Logitech G-Hub and re-enable surround sound on the Logitech G-Hub. Your Surround Sound should work again. If it doesn't, i wish you good luck finding a fix and please do not download any sketchy 'fix-all-now' software, it is probably a trojan. I am not a computer scientist so this is not a definite answer, and may backfire, just be careful what you are doing.

Doesnt work for me im on windows 11 and when i try to enable spatial sound it goes to off immidiately.

when i record the game while using my g pro x headset ... for some reason the game audio sounds terrible .. is it also because of surround sound problem

Thanks for this fix as I was just about to give up trying to access the free license then came across your vid. On a side note I use APO free EQ with Peace plug in to boost everything on this headset & it kicks ass. Now having surround function normally on top is great. Thanks!

Just a comment, Make sure when you uninstal GHUB, that you turn off the surround sound from the beginning. Otherwise when you re-install, its activates it by default making you even more made at another tutorial!

Hello all, if you're having this issue in 2024 a easy fix might be that you have Mono sound enabled in your sound settings! Make sure to disable this if you cannot resolve this issue with this fix! Also, this fix still works as a work around as well. Thanks

Hi. I can't seem to get it working on Windows 11. After I uninstalled the driver and did the same process till the spatial sound, no audio is coming from the headphones.

The dts-x won’t apply for me every time I try to apply it, it just changes it back to the off selection

U sure ur setting up that specific game setting n not just adjusting the desktop setting

If you are on Windows 11 and your spatial sound setting will not stay on, you have to uninstall the Ghub app. It will stay on then.

if you have a problem like me where your g pro x is stuck in surround sound regardless of turn it on and off, then try to change the format quality to 48000hz (DVD quality) this fixed the issue for me..

Hello, I can't turn on dts spatial sound in windows, it is grayed out in settings and it only shows "off" option when I go into device properties. When I was playing around with dolby instead of dts it only worked without logitech DAC, so I plugged my headphones with mini jack and it worked, with dts it won't show up in windows settings. Please help.
