Big Eye Sea Bream is considered a delicacy in Japan as well. I believe we also grill, but more commonly it’s braised in sauce. We would see the first one in the vid too large, but presumably it’s a slightly different specie. Would love to try these dishes in Spain. Haven’t been there for so long...
Japan and Spanish cuisine have a lot of similarities even though it might not seem so at first glance. Specially when it comes to seafood. In fact, Tuna is probably in its best state when it crosses the strait of Gibraltar and gets in the mediterranean through the Spanish coast and to the Balearic Islands in its migratory process. Thats why many of the best Tuna in Japan is actually Spanish (or rather, fished in Spain), and the best pieces always get shipped there. Its also two of the few countries that have a love for sea urchins and other sea delicacys that other countries dont even eat.
Oh Mark that was a epic video. You could really see how the Sea Bree and potato melded together, the potatoes absorbing the fish oil,and high end olive oil.I wanted to taste that dish so much!!🇨🇦☕️

Galicia Spain ,Absolutely Breath taking and the seafood WOW.. I love empanadas. MARK YOUR TRAVELS FOR FOOD ARE THE BEST..🌶🌶🌶🦞🦀🦐🦑🦪👍👍👍👍Eating the Eye and socket. 🤣🤣👀
Mark makes the ordinary seafood cooked with "so simple preparation, so few seasoning" so heavenly. Even the simple raw carrot baked over a naked fire tastes so delicious, so unusual. But what is so shocking to me was the prices - US$718 and US$507 for a meal for three persons is no longer heavenly but astronomical! Imagine instead of 6 pieces of clams or sea shells with a plate full of them in a Southeast Asian country such as Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam at a fraction of a cost! That would be another heaven indeed! I do enjoy the show though.
What an awesome food experience. I started watching during COVID quarantine and loved this channel since. I practically watched all previous videos before. I love classic, wholesome, and delicious work.

Will never get bored of Mark Wiens. Whatever food he presents, I am always mesmerized and feel joyful!
Maybe the BEST place to eat all around the world.Galicia is premium quality.
So happy to finally see you enjoying our country in depth Mark! Food and cooking for us is very cultural (like many places) and a very important way of expressing our passion for life. Hope you come back as soon as you can!
A Spanish subscriber.
Mark is in debt? How, with so many subscribers?
@@FOODBF Get tin sea food at restaurant is just a joke. That's not a restaurant. It's a junk place. Btw most sea food is not even from Galicia or Spain.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Mark is on his way to 10 million subscribers and it’s clear that restaurants worldwide understand his influence and he’s earned every bit of it with his knowledge and genuine appreciation of great food. My favorite episodes are always the ones that are focused on seafood.
man all he says' is "OHH WOOW" even for a cup of drain water. it just goes to show you you tube viewers are suckers
He’s mentally deficient. There was a video where he ate the huge poop Sack on this huge snail and the gills of a crab and pretended it was wonderful.
S woman was trying to tell him not to eat those parts but just threw her hands in thei air as he was acting like it was delicious.
It has been very amazing to see u sampling the best seafood in the world. Real class from Galicia. What an excellent cuisine!!!
Enjoy your meal. Kudos a a million.
No utuber in the world has given such culinary excitement like you did every time.
That video was really awesome! Thank you Mark for these recent beautiful spain episodes. It's nice to see my ancestors' delicious foods. I have been able to travel to some of the most amazing places on earth because of Mighty 💅🏼 Travels 🤧 Premium.
Mark is living our seafood fantasies and sharing it with the world. How beautiful:) looking fwd to Sat am uploads of Mark!
You could really see how the Sea Bree and potato melded together, the potatoes absorbing the fish oil,and high end olive oil.I wanted to taste that dish so much!!🇨🇦☕️
The complexity of the simplicity blows my mind. Absolutely spectacular...
India ka best food th-cam.com/video/yutcFBDPu7M/w-d-xo.html 😋😋😋
This is what the world needs. Thanks Mark😊
Mark, The greatest! 👍🙂👍
No one seafood like Galician seafood.Unique, the BEST
Mark, I love your dedication to your food based TH-cam-based side hustle and how you'll stay committed to doing what you do as a genuine labor of love. Keep up the good work my friend! 🙂
It's not a side hustle lol
Lol “side hustle”
You don’t get 9.14 million subscribers just with having a “side hussle” lol
FULL TIME FOODIE MY GUY
I have friends that eat fish eyeballs, they love it, i've never dared, lol! We musn't forget our home made potages, guisos and pucheros, all very healthy and wholesome foods! Mark next time you're over in Spain try these typical home made dishes, an explosion of flavours and textures, try the guiso de patatas con jibia, potage de bacalao con garbanzos, potage de espinaca, all very easy to make beautiful tasting and much cheaper than seafood, it's what every home has everyday, not to forget the simple patatas frita con chorizo y pimientos verdes all fried in olive oil wow, the list is just endless! Loved your video. Greetings from southern Spain (Cadiz) 💕💕
Mark, Jeffery and Kevin are the best trios in my opinion, love your videos as always!
Thank you!!!!
Its amazing how only little spices were involved on these seafood dish and still manages to look and might taste fantastic
The simplest is the best
Amazing Spain dishes. The fish and potato first then the razor clam looked so 😋😋😋😋
Spain is always so beautiful but from your eyes Mark even more so perfect.
As a Galician , I can say that Galicia is the best place in the world to enjoy food. I miss it so much
Yeah It Looks Amazing 🥺😋
What an adventure! The sheer beauty of the food is astounding.
Once again, another amazing vlog, thanks Mark!
I always get excited when Jeffrey is in a video.

Rainy day🌦 & night 🌙. This is just so entertaining &
satisfying 🦞🦐 🐟 🐠.
Happy am I in this moment.
Ty , Sir Mark.
Nice video! Spanish cuisine is really tasty and unique! If you come to Asturias you need to try the Cachopo and Fabada for sure. There are so many good food dishes here I cannot recomend you all in one go. Hope you are enjoying every meal and if you need help around Asturias I can help! Keep up the good work and videos!
I appreciate Mark As a lover of all types of food from alot of different cultures. His description of food and flavour is spot on.
This guy loves chilli , super hot food can eat the hottest chilli's raw without breaking a sweat. So anything that has not got chilli in it he can still give an accurate review of taste , texture and freshness.
Hay dos cosas en esta vida para ser feliz, un buen compañero/a de viaje y marisco de galicia.
Hey mate, amazing video as always! As a french living in spain I have to admit Spanish food, products and preparation is the best ever. What do You think, as someone who has traveled around the world?
Vous avez raison 👌.
This is truly an enjoyable show! Mark you are such a kind spirit! The seafood 😋. Prepared with love & knowledge! Thank you for this!
Wow! Very big red fish! 😋😍
Oh Wow! Muy rico! So hungry right now 😍😋 I love Spain.
Thank you, Mark for all your videos. You are a legend.
Viva Galiza. Que ben se come!
This vid is important to me because I am allergic to all seafood (shellfish)...just to watch you present and eat such exotic (to my eyes) shellfish makes my mouth water...I am fascinated. WOW!!!
Mark!!! I applaud you for being such a positive character and a great role model for the youth of the world
Wow, what a trip, beautiful! The food looked amazing, and the scenery too, you are one lucky guy to travel all over the world like you do.....thanks for taking people like me that doesn't travel along with you via TH-cam. 🙂
"Greatest Eye Experience". WOW. Mark, I have NEVER thought of eating a fish eye, but now you haver enticed me to try. I am a pretty good cook and have a wonderful fish market near where I live and have seen the whole fish with heads and eyes on display but have only felt compelled to purchase filets and such. I am going to go and speak to the owners and send them this video for their recommendation how I may purchase an excellent whole fish and how to prepare it to taste the eye! Thank You!
Another amazing video! So beautiful is Spain! Thank You Mark!! Keep them coming..❤️
Galicia is amazing and the food is super amazing. Bienvenido a España 🇪🇸
Hiloba channel is a good channel, subscribe
The sea cucumber is interesting and my first time hearing about them. The canned seafood is a must try for me. The lobster looked amazing and the roasted veggies compliments this dish so well. The presentation of the fish was really amazing. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us.
Mark is truly living the life. Food and travel, whilst earning that youtube money, is next level decadence. That you, Mark.
Mark, you always make me so hungry brother! This looked amazing!
As a food enthusiast, it's easy for me to obsess with all the different amazing foods there are arround the world. I'm usually admiring and eager to try dishes from other countrys. But sometimes, I like to see videos like this to remind myself that here in my country, Spain, we also know a thing or two about food. I love the passion Mark brings into his channel. And i'm glad to join you to celebrate all food in the world. The foreing food, and also my own. Great video my dude.
I'm from Spain and have been to o Grove this summer. I can attest that it is some of the best seafood in the world. I ended up going way over budget, and it was so worth it. I was never a big fan of mussels until I tried them there fresh out of the rias.
In my opinion there is no greater joy for a foodie like myself to share in an incredible meal with my other Foodie friends such as Jeffrey and Kevin. 👍👍
I love the way Mark looks like he is about to cry with every bite and it feels like you are tasting each bite with him from the excitement on his face when he"s eating that fish.😋
Mark, you've done it again...so great.
Amazing Galicia!! Seafood cathedral!!
Love how he just eats everything and anything and loves it
Slimy, crunchy, or whatever
I wouldn’t be able to . Great video as always
Congrats to everyone who is early And who found this comment 👏 ❤
This snapper is amazing
As a seafood lover. I am jealous! 🤤
@@FOODBF thanks…
Love everything they are cooking here. Best cooking here so far.
I never knew I have to go to Spain for some tasty food
I really enjoyed watching this episode. I have learnt so much from watching These historical sites
I love how he reacts to the flavor of the food as he is putting it in his mouth 🤣
when he said you can taste the flavor of the waves lol that was a good one.
Hello Mark Weins I love your vídeos, I watched almost all. Spain is wonderful country! Kisses from Brasil 🇧🇷 🇧🇷 🇧🇷
Ta ta bon 🥂🥂.
Watching my guy for the past 5 years, as always love ❤ your work...stay blessed 🙌..
I might be wrong but the fish might not be sea bream, but rather a Golden Eye Snapper (Splendid Alfonsino), or what is known in Japan as Kinmedai 金目鯛. It is truly an amazing fish like no other.
The fish on this video it's called virrey or palometa roja. Search it on google.
Galicia, best place ever for food...
🦀🐙🦞🦑🦐🐟♥️🙌🏼
Beautiful! Wow! Looks delicious!
Berto habla mucho sobre la sostenibilidad de la ría ( aquí los pezqueñines los dejamos crecer...) y después vende camarones con huevos
It's hard to beat the allure of grilled seafood. So simple to cook yet so delicious.
This may be your best show, You're the best advertisement for Spain. Espagne, senor!
