    You guys make some good vids, wish you uploaded some more on the RS3 specifically. Good luck!

      Thank you so much for the lovely comment! I absolutely love working on and driving the RS3, but unfortunately it is not my car to make these decisions 🤣

    Hi, nice vids! Please let us hear the intake while stationary and reving the engine. Then some inside shots while driving and give is your opinion if the car got faster or not and worth the upgrade. Thanx

      This may have to wait until spring, the car is cleaned and stored for winter!

    No intake sounds at the end?!!! DUDE!!

      It was late at night! Can't upset the neighbors. We will get some audio this spring 👌

      @@HardwayLearning awesome man. I'm considering the IE intake with the IE inlet pipe over the APR inlet and inlet pipe. What are your thoughts on the APR? Only issue is IE have said 5 weeks for production!!! : (

      @HardwayLearning  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gtrsfk9001 we don't have any experience with APR, but can't say enough great things about the Iroz/Custom code experience. I would wait for the IE intake it is a work of art 👌. Launch control audio clip with IE intake incoming soon

    can we get a video of how the intake sounds with like the windows down and revving ? im thinking about buying one soon

    • @HardwayLearning
      @HardwayLearning  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      From the inside of the car? I might be able to make that happen

    • @Eminem344
      @Eminem344 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes, that would be great. is turbo spool more noticeable ?

    • @HardwayLearning
      @HardwayLearning  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Eminem344 one of the things we noticed is the tsoo tsoo tsoo noise if you roll into the throttle and let off, which never ceases to make us giggle! This is significantly more noticeable with the exhaust flaps closed, but we do have Iroz Downpipes and midpipes which makes the car a bit louder.

    • @Eminem344
      @Eminem344 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      have the downpipes and mids also but that’s good , i think i’ll be picking that up soon. do you guys plan on doing the turbo inlet too?

    • @HardwayLearning
      @HardwayLearning  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Eminem344 it' certainly is something we are interested in, but we have another project coming soon that will consume more of our time >.

    Any opinions on if the IE intake will cause problems in the rain - hydrolock? Thanks.

    • @HardwayLearning
      @HardwayLearning  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't see this being an issue, the intake location doesn't change, still scoops air just above the radiator!

    2JZ swapped RS7?

    I wonder why they use worm clamps as opposed to t-bolt clamps?

    • @HardwayLearning
      @HardwayLearning  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      My assumption would be cost cutting?

    • @fiercenet
      @fiercenet 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      there's no pressure, t-bolts just add weight and cost more. not to mention you can easily crank them down too hard and crack that cf.

    Is the setup exactly the same for the 8s TTRS?

    • @HardwayLearning
      @HardwayLearning  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It should be 95% the same if not identical!

    Any noticeable gains with the intake?

    • @HardwayLearning
      @HardwayLearning  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Didn't get a lot of wheel time with it before it went into storage, but we did notice a significant increase in intake noise. Most notably the wastegate flutter, which is incredibly amusing to hear!

      Hardway Learning thank you for the reply! Great channel btw. Does it throw a code? I have a 2019 still under warranty and I’m trying to figure out the best way around getting it voided.

    Buys expensive car, buys expensive intake, does not own cheap oetiker clamp pliers.
