I remember when I first started playing this game I was running around and found a knight with end game armor so I sneak up behind him, knock him out and then stole all of his gear. After that the game still wasn't any easier and I kept getting my ass kicked. 10/10

Just in case you are wondering how Henry already knew who Pious is:
There is a book by the Prior's room, it says the past life of each of the novices, including Pious. You probably went inside the monastery before and read it without even noticing (that's what I did the first time).
That option is available to use against all the new comers. You don't actually know you are just accusing someone.

The growth you feel in this is game definitely one of the best I've felt in any game. It's such a good feeling to walk through entire groups of cumans after struggling with just two enemies for a large portion of the game.

Yeah, for the people that actually learn how to play this game. It was amazing. I had one of the best combat systems for Sword player that I’ve ever had instead of just swinging around like every other game. Yeah, it was challenging learning how to play the game.
On my first mission from the miller I had to steal from the executioner and I accidentally aggroed him, so I killed him and I just burst out laughing every time they mention the executioner they've mentioned him like 6 times so funny

One of the best RPG’s ever, best quests hands down, wish it had a better refined combat.
KCD is a pretty awesome game to be fair, if your new then you end up learning with Henry as the game goes on which makes skill progression more rewarding, it doesn't just give you a weapon and suddenly you know exactly what to do with it like most rpg's
The choices you make can actually matter too which was great to see aswell as how there's all these little secret things that can affect how you fight or sneak
Granted it's not the most polished and it has a few bugs but it's a great game once you get into the learning and fighting
It's a shame RDR2 was released the same year otherwise it might’ve been more popular as a great medieval simulator

Such an amazing game, super immersive, you even learn a lot about the period and the region if you go in the details.

easy way to get wealthy in game: Ride to skallitz, kill the bandits, steal all their loot, repeat infinetly
Pretty hard to do it early game though since all of them have really good equipment and stats, better to wait for them to fight each other out and pick off the remaining scraps.
My go to method is break in the second floor of the armorer in rattay, steal everything from the room with his chests, sell everything to the miller (even if he doesn’t have the money), wait 3 to 4 days, break in the barn on the right side of the mill and loot the millers chest (after 3 to 4 days the miller sold all the armor you gave him for their LISTED value so you will find crazy amounts of money in the chest)
If the armorer doesn’t sell stuff anymore just gift him some armor and he should have full stock after a few days
Edit: my best run gave me 23k

Not going to lie, I thought it was extremely boring for the first couple of hours but I had a feeling I should probably stick with it and I'm so glad I did. Easily one of the best, most underrated games out there. I enjoyed knowing that it was historically accurate, but that wasn't a major selling point. I genuinely just enjoyed the story, regardless of historical accuracy.

I absolutely love this game. Just finished my third complete play through. Really enjoy the fact that so many of the quests are not "go kill somebody". There is plenty of action but also a good dose of non-violent game play.
Biggest complaint? The locking mechanism when you are fighting multiple opponents. Hopefully the studio is busy on KCD2 as we speak and hopefully this aspect of the game will change

@@explodogames2774 I don't think so :D I enjoyed TES, Witcher and even fucking Mount&Blade more than this. Graphics and story in KCD is awesome but things around it are soooo bad. Combat system in 1v1 is good, almost good but when you're 1v3 and more then it's total garbage killing my nerves and that's not the only bad thing in this game.

I found the brutal combat super rewarding to master and the more realistic approach of being in mortal danger when 3 vs 1 situations arise 100x more rewarding than witcher combat .
It was one of the highlights of the game for me . It has been a very long time since an rpg has been able to keep me interested past the first 20 hours . I understand it isn't for everyone . But for me it was the best rpg experience in 20 plus years , I can't think of one I liked more until I get back toward the greats like bg2 and planescape torment .
