I managed to fall through the world on accident, if you could call swimming falling. I swam down to my underwater base and hit the middle of two blocks along the way. I then moved a little to the left to get out and swam straight through the blocks and fell through the world. And this happened at precisely 1025 x, 24 y, 576 z.
I had to travel 10,000 blocks for a woodland mansion and I fell through the ocean while on a boat that had my brother on it. The thing was I just fell through the boat and went into the void as my brother sat there laughing.
well I did teleport to the far lands and stripe lands on purpose on my phone (bedrock, obviously) a few days ago, just because I wanted to see them still existing xD sooo nah after seeing them, they feel part of minecraft again xD
I think the "flat" corner stripelands do generate, but it's just that the game makes them flat in both the x and z direction rather than just x OR z, so they're invisible. They're 1D rather than 2D.
About "empty" corner: I think it generates, but not renders. Like left and right parts squished over one of axes (cube to square), "empty" corner squished over both axes (square to line), what results in nothing rendered (line of width 0 is invisible).
The terrible generator you see there has been the same since 2014. It hasn't been the focus of improvement for a long time since people usually import PC or prebuilt maps. Nice to see you found a use for it :)
Note: It's actually possible to see "stripes" before the Far Lands initiate; just try placing a bunch of tall grass around past 8388608 blocks and they'll confirm to stripe formations. Block distortions actually start at 524288 blocks out; try placing an item frame and note the Z-fighting.

I found out a new technique to pass the horizontal barrier! However, I have only tested this on flat worlds so far. If you set the weather to rain/thunder and enchant a trident with riptide 3 (not sure if 1 or 2 work). Paired with an elytra And start flying, you’re blocked by the block limit until you use the trident to boost yourself in the rain it lets you pass right through the limit. It’s very slow, but it’s still very interesting. Edit: I have tested this on a infinite world, I was indeed able to boost myself past.
On Java Edition, I once tried to teleport to the border in the Nether and in the End. There was no border the world just kept generating. Did I not go far enough? Then I teleported to the world border in the Overworld, and then entered the Nether through the Nether portal. There was no barrier there either. Why is that?
Me and my friends were experimenting yesterday and you can actually fly freely with an elytra in the stripe lands but it’s SUPER glitchy and chunks load SUPER slow once you get about 7 thousand blocks past the tp border
The stripelands? I think you mean “Minecraft: 2d edition” Also it’s awesome that this long after its launch we’re still finding secret and interesting glitches and occurrences in Minecraft.

Everything breaks due to memory limit regarding procedure generation and rendering. Variables after a certain point stop having a value and become NULL, but the game is designed not to crash, so it still generates land and renders it, but it does so in this very very weird way. Upvote for awareness
the reason why bedrock and pre infdev stop at 2147483647 is because they counted that many blocks while post infdev counts 16x16 chunks making it 16 times further. java does freeze right around 2147483647 blocks though
what's even weirder is that, years ago (like the 9.0 update), i actually managed to see both the stripe lands AND the 2D stripe lands in normal survival gameplay. i think it's safe to say that this version is pretty broken.
The game uses a 32 bit integer for block positions so the absolute limit for the x/z axis is +/- 2,147,483,647; even using 64 bit Java makes no difference since the variable types are not defined by the platform (as is the case for some other languages, where an int can be 32 or 64 bits); the Wiki erroneously claims that 64 bit Java lets you go farther but that is not true (likewise, a 32/64 bit float is always 32/64 bit. The only difference is that 64 bit variables will be much slower on a 32 bit platform, and are slower even on 64 bit due to the memory overhead, which is why 32 bit is used unless a larger data type is needed). Also, a simple modification to the code lets you go past 30 million with mostly normal gameplay (there are some bugs though due to Notch using floats where doubles should be used); the 30 million limit is hard-coded into the game, for example, when the game gets a block ID it returns air if the coordinate is past 30 million, which is not applied when initially generating the world (not when adding other features, so all you have is terrain and caves) or rendering chunks (at least in 1.6.4, before any sort of border was added, you can freely walk past 30 million but you'll fall off the edge in vanilla): Spoiler (click to show)
This was actually possible without pocketmine back in alpha 0.16.0 (you still had to teleport with relative coordinates just like pocketmine but it was possible to go past the 30 million blocks limit). It was basically the same but the camera wouldnt glitch out no matter where you were.
DARKSHADOW 27 you can still teleport in pe but you cant do it any further than 30 million blocks away from the spawn (you cant use ~ for relative coordinates either)
I actually think I witnessed the stripe lands in minecraft bedrock before, it was back in like 2015 and of course, I didn't know what it was, whats weirder is that it appeared in an old world type! Thing is is that this version was before Better Together so I don't know
What’s interesting is that on an old iPhone 5 I found the strip lands like idk 10-20 chunks away from spawn. I don’t exactly know because it’s been so long but yea. You would spawn into a Mesa biome and then fly a bit and the end of the world. My camera would glitch when I tried to fly into it. I can’t find this world anymore sadly because that iPhone is broken now. I didn’t think to much of it because I was like really young
Once you double your distance from your spawn point, at some places the world starts getting so buggy, at stripe lands, a visual bug with blocks happen, now that bug is unfixable, because of the Perlin noise limitation, the world can be only 30,000 blocks bigger, because if the numbers of blocks are infinite, the world crashes, so Perlin noise gives it the limit, and the file size will never be very huge, it'll be smaller, so any Minecraft copy has the same thing as Minecraft, because of how Perlin noise works.
I went to the stripe lands myself on iPad, only I didn’t know they were called the stripe lands. I dubbed them the glitch lands, since I thought they were a glitch in terrain loading. I also went to the corner glitch lands, and called them the water glitch lands because it’s a giant ocean. I then found ice and Mesa biomes as well as structures like portals and villages. I could move up and down, and of course when I wasn’t flying I fell straight through bedrock, but the only way I could move was with pearls. I thought it was interesting so I commented this, I’m also curious if other people on iPad did this. If anyone has had similar experiences and sees this comment, plz reply I’m really curious.
I’m sure pretty much every bedrock player has wondered “How far can I teleport?”. I’ve been here since the nether reactor, so my first TP experience was right after commands were added in single player. Don’t remember what it looked like, but I do remember being in awe.
Fact entering the stripe lands at 16 Million will break online features such as the marketplace if you need to buy something the only way to do it is via deleting that stripe lands world (I have done this on switch I’m unsure if it effects others) but playing on servers themselves isn’t a problem just you can’t enter the general marketplace or server marketplaces
Antvenom! I need to tell you a story. I don't want you to go into the Farlands again! It's super dangerous and messed up! This was taught in the hard way by a wanderer. She seems well prepared for the wacky and time consuming trip at first, prepped with an elytra and fireworks. One time, unexpectedly, the wanderer's elytra broke, and glitched through the world, each passing block both horrizontally and vertically altering her appearance, as she jitters, stutters, and of course, met her glitchy demise. Any other determined explorers going there would see the wanderer's messed up body, just standing there, seemingly inanimate sans the constant shaking. She is dubbed the Farlander all because of this.
We should call the land where only the horizontal texture thingy shows, the paper lands Edit: or, the folder lands, since it just looks like rows of paper... like a folder 🤔
im sometimes on my switch but sometimes we find an invisible barrier (not just the barrier block its an invisible wall we cant get past unless we leave the game and rejoin.) and my friend said its because of my horse and he was wrong

This is why, if you want to make a block game, you make the coordinates fixed-point numbers rather than floating point.
it depends, because you would have to make other calculations return floats (euclidean distance) and there would be a lot of type conversions

Thing is is that this version was before Better Together so I don't know
“This video is sponsored by Pocket Mine!”
Funny way of saying raid shadow legends.
da terrain generation on da pocket mine is awesome and satisfying.
At 7:27 it looks like antvenom explodes into his outro 😄
What’s interesting is that on an old iPhone 5 I found the strip lands like idk 10-20 chunks away from spawn. I don’t exactly know because it’s been so long but yea. You would spawn into a Mesa biome and then fly a bit and the end of the world. My camera would glitch when I tried to fly into it. I can’t find this world anymore sadly because that iPhone is broken now. I didn’t think to much of it because I was like really young
3:45 welcome to Minecraft
Wait, I think you mean, "Break Minecraft"!
Or Minecorrupt.
The patchlands, sidelands, and nulllands
And the flatlands.
Bedrock: Infinite Wonders, endless possibilities
Farlands: Hold my beer...
Looooool Mojang this isn’t “infinite” 5:44
When you finally realize that the logo of pocket mine has a nether reactor in it after watching it over and over again
Do beacons stop working that far or are they still functional but impossible to build?
Still functional but still impossible to build
microsoft: our random generation is the best, no one would travel 30 million blocks
AntVenom: what did you say?
Ayeeeeee a new video
Aye

Ayy lmao
I see you a lot these days.
New Arsenal yea but instead of being original like Justin Y he just always says: yaaaa neeew viiddeeeeoooo
5:32 you should call them "Striper Lands"
The absolute mad lad

Paper Minecraft, Thousand Block Door.
We should call the land where only the horizontal texture thingy shows, the paper lands
Edit: or, the folder lands, since it just looks like rows of paper... like a folder 🤔
God of Pizza slice Lands
Big news update today our channel just surpassed
*30,000,000 BLOCKS*
tbh. 3:06 Looks kinda cool
looks nice
Ikr
Imo it‘s kinda creepy
I don‘t know why but I feel uncomfortable
reminds me of xevious for some reason
im sometimes on my switch but sometimes we find an invisible barrier (not just the barrier block its an invisible wall we cant get past unless we leave the game and rejoin.) and my friend said its because of my horse and he was wrong
Flat Lands
‘Vertical gapped striped lands’ should be called the ‘picnic blanket effect’
That's how Farlands work.
vertical flat stripelands should’ve been called the paperlands imo
this is another reason why minecraft java edition is somewhat better than pocket edition
Yes Java better than Pocket Edition because Pocket Edition ended in: 1.1
1.2 or later is now Bedrock Edition and Java NOT better than Bedrock
I honestly miss the old Java Minecraft.
They changed the Launcher, and I’m pretty sure the (old) forge launcher broke?
Bedrock version is so weird...
I think that it's just different. I got used to it :)
