A FEW CORRECTIONS: #43: You can also put shells in your offhand (so there's 6 items instead of 5!!!) #87: It drops the item next to it ONLY FOR ME. I guess it's cause my drop key is tab... my bad. Lemme know if theres anything else!!!
All that is only part of the Xbox part of Bedrock, I play on PS4 and I didn't recognize any of these glitches in my own game. Also the little dude, I still have no idea why he's there. I've been playing MC for years that I got the editions button, I have no idea why he's there besides what I heard online
UHC has always been in bedrock. Zeqa has not only had buildUHC, but caveUHC, finalUHC, and more. For render dragon, basic shaders no longer work unless you have 3rd party devices or use a crappy knock off shader. PS4/5 allows you to join featured servers while switch and xbox don’t. that’s all i found
As a bedrock player whenever I see people talk about the wither like it's some minor threat, I always have this cycle of "what the hell" to "oh right, Java"
bro I play in java and the wither has no mercy he just flies out of my render distance even though I can put my render distance to 1000 chunks he still gets out and hits like a machine gun and I can't even hit him for how far away he is bro
The annoying thing about the rain glitch is that in multiplayer, if it is raining for one person, they can tae full advantage of it. Fire aspect still works, but so does the riptide, Impaling, and channling on tridents.
for me, tabbing out on PC is something I would do a LOT on bedrock, but it just forces you not to, and every time I forget and I log off it makes my blood boil. There is also one glitch that specifically affects me and my brother whenever we play that stops certain people or different devices from being able to join your world for months or YEARS. Me and my friend have only been able to join each other recently after 3 years of trying. Bedrock bugs and differences are so stupid, and all these points are so true to me
Same!! For the longest time I was trying to play minecraft with my friend Abby so we could keep working on our city world- but it just wouldn’t let her join me or let me join her- and yet it’d let me join somebody else! Now she can join me just fine but then for awhile my other friend and I couldn’t join each other! It’s a horrible glitch that has literally no way to fix it
Trying to join parties or join other people's games has always been extremely buggy on Xbox One for me. There are SO MANY different bugs that could prevent people from being able to join games or parties. This doesn't have to do with Minecraft specifically, but Xbox One in general.
I grew up with a jailbeoken xbox 360 (if you don't know jailbeoken xbox 360s can have games downloaded to them definitely very very legally but can't use online so they can't get updates for games). Because of that the version of minecraft i grew up with was the first one on the 360 without any updates, somewhere between 1.2 and 1.3. I have no idea what you are talking about but when i got an xbox one and downloaded minecraft bedrock edition for the first time i was blown away with how much better it was
2 things you missed: 1. enderman cant stay in boats 2. the new "marketplace pass" is just not needed Edit: so maybe the marketplace pass isnt that bad but it didnt really need to be added
the new marketplace pass is a cheaper option for people who want the benefits of realms but don’t care about realms. Realms- is like 7.99 or something , you get a realm with 10 ppl at once, and access to many maps and skins, they’re rotated every so often so you get a variety or new things to try (iirc). the Pass- is like a fiver, you get access to many maps and skins. again, they’re rotated every so often so you get a variety or new things to try (iirc).
10:00 Also on bedrock we can put NAUTILUS SHELLS IN OUR OFFHAND WHY?????? because minecraft wanted drowned’s to hold the shells in their left hand instead of their right…
the mob spawning in bedrock caves is pretty annoying, i use to love mining but ever since the caves were updated they’re basically impossible to go into even if you have decent armor
#28: The main problem is that Bedrock has per-user achievements, which only apply ONCE for all worlds in a user's game, while Java has per-world advancements, which apply on each world separately
What I hate the most about bedrocks horrible offhand system is in a video where Minecraft answered questions from the community, one of the questions was when they will add the better offhand to bedrock. They played it off AS A JOKE basically saying “why do you need that anyway? Do you want to hold a flower in your offhand when you’re fighting mobs?” These weren’t their exact words, but I remember dying inside after hearing this a couple years ago :-/
They’re going to add it eventually. Possibly whenever they get around to revamping the combat on both additions. The tricky thing with the off hand system is making it work for mobile players of Bedrock.
I’m pretty sure they’re going to have to add it eventually. Possibly whenever they get around to revamping the combat on both additions. The tricky thing with the off hand system is making it work for mobile players of Bedrock.
101. Bedrock loads particles further than players, (which are loaded at a very short range) making combat from a distance literally impossible at times. 102. Scoreboards contribute a ton of lag to the game. If you know anything about variables in game, attaching just 3 of them to every entity in the game causes entity tick lag to go up SIGNIFICANTLY. 103. Everything is basically tied to tick speed, so if your game. Mob speed can change and mobs like Zombies and Creepers can become immensely slow or explode slower. 104. Creepers are incredibly buggy, generally. They’ll explode at a very long range. 105. With how teleporting works, Endermen will occasionally teleport past you and get aggro’d because you were looking in the directions they would be if they WALKED to their destination.
@@TheUndeniablyPowerfulHI believe Java is more meant to be a sandbox and just modding n such. And Bedrock is meant more for survival, due to it being harder to beat.
Been playing on my phone lately because it’s easier, but historically i’ve played on java. But i play on console too sometimes. Point is, there are glitches on mobile and console bedrock that sour my experience (like the camera shaking mentioned in the video i got on mobile recently, the cursor glitching or straight up disappearing i’ve gotten on Playstation) and I’ve never gotten those same problems on Java. Java may be less smooth and stuff, but in my experience has way less intrusive glitches. I like Minecraft no matter the version, but it makes me sad that Bedrock has all these issues because I want my and everyone’s Minecraft experiences to be mostly seamless fun without many glitches. But alas, i guess it’s a soul for a soul situation with Bedrock: we got crossplay, but at what cost? The gameplay experience being much more annoying. :(
Not a bedrock defender but some facts about Bedrock that I learnt are 1.) Bedrock and Java have 2 different Mojang Offices 2.) Bedrock Devs have to take onto consideration of Pocket Edition. Something like Shield crouching, no toggling sprint/crouch, no fast switch of gamemodes is because of Pocket. 3.) The games are coded differently. Java Edition is coded in Java and Bedrock is coded in C++. Two very different coding languages.
As a bedrock player, I always am confused when people ask the question “which is better, Java or bedrock?” Because it’s always been massively clear to me that Java is the better version.
So about the off hand, Nautilus Shells are only offhandable because of the way bedrock items work. When an item is made it can be allowed to be put in the offhand, or not. The rockets are allowed because that’s how crossbows work with fireworks, while the Nautilus shell is allowed because drowns are allowed to hold them in their offhand. This technically means all items could be put in the offhand just by swapping a false value to true in the code, but since mobile has no controls for it they haven’t done it yet. Each edition of the game is special to me for different reasons and serve different purposes, but I still think Bedrock is not as bad as people say, and Console is still the best(my opinion, don’t take it seriously!) Oh, and the little guy in the top right corner is called the paper doll, and it’s from console. If you want it gone you can turn it off in video settings.
Ima be honest here, I've been a Java player for years, I got the new Snapdragon chips for Windows and now I cant play Java because of it not having Native Arm64 support. Bedrock is 100% the worst of the 2 choices with far less than 100 good things about it. The one cool thing is the building, but they need that for mobile. Everything that he mentioned I've been annoyed by for the week that I've been playing on it.
2 more things, the fact that you can’t have 2 downloaded skins at the same time and that it is incredibly hard to change perspectives on mobile. Btw love your vids
you literally have to go into fucking settings to change your perspective on mobile 💀💀💀💀 not to mention that: 1. it takes SO FUCKING LONG TO LOAD 2. you need to do it AGAIN BECAUSE YOURE MOST LIKELY GONNA (TRY) AND CHANGE BACK IN LESS THAN 3 SECONDS
There’s the character creator for a reason. It lets you have up to 5 skins and easily switch between them. You can also store images to quickly load up skins. And there ARE some packs that make it easier to change your perspective, but I still agree that mobile players should need to install a resource pack when there is one button to do it on PC and Console.
Common thing for Bedrock players, bedrock players hates bedrock because it's like there's no option but forcefully play it, cause it's Minecraft available on the devices that people can afford.
YES! Thank you!! The first TH-camr I watched that actually does research and actually gives extremely valid reasons and facts, instead of entitled to their own opinions, or just straight up harassing the game. That’s a huge W for you.
3 things you forgot 1: you can’t see what’s in the offhand. there’s no hot bar slot for it 2: (at least on controller) sometimes you can drop an item, but it stays in your inventory but it’s not actually there 3: in a normal world, your sprinting stops when you hit something. so on controller and mobile fighting a PC player is impossible
U didn’t mention lack of Short/Tall grass in plains and acacia biomes. It makes bedrocks biomes look so much worse and immediately gives away the fact you are playing bedrock not Java because it’s such a huge difference.
@@maxamillion9248 They should still have it as an option for those whose devices can handle it. Plus it used to be in the game before randomly being removed without mention in the change log sometime in 2015/16
14:07 like frrr I got jumped by 6 mobs like three normal zombies, 1 zombie villager, and 2 skeletons then I got jumped again by 3 zombie villagers, 2 skeletons, 4 zombies, and 1 creeper, like BRO let me get some build materials
I have never had that random death glitch happen, ever Edit: as a mostly mobile player, yeah my controls randomly switch sizes and move when ever they feel like it
Minecraft on my device runs pretty well, sometimes gets laggy but that's it. The main issue I have is that sometimes the exposed lateral textures of a block turn transparent and reflects the sky (no x-ray.) Still really rare tought.
I've switched to playing java edition a year ago, and when I came back to bedrock it is absolutely hilarious how bad it is in comparison. I've never noticed how much harder it is. one thing you didn't mention is that drowneds and skeletons are buffed like crazy, skeletons don't move and dodge around and have insane accuracy and it's actually so hard to even hit them, you also can't even tell when they're about to shoot, ALSO when fighting multiple skeletons you can just get sent flying bc of the knock back they do, their knock back is also sometimes just ignored by by shields. Then there's drowneds which always spawn in any body of water and are also willing to go on land at night or day to kill you, it's almost like it's always nightime when near water. But not just that, they even have tridents like way more often and will just start tossing them at you while your wandering down a river. So all the buffed mobs and no fast Regen... NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER PLAY BEDROCK!!!!! I'm just using mods to get controller support (yes I like playing with a controller) and some other bedrock features.
I hated the drowned so much when I used to play on console. It made building my house near any water source (even tiny ponds) SO annoying. They would constantly overspawn in whatever water source was near me, I would constantly be listening to their growls, they would constantly be trying to knock down my door if I was playing on hard, they would constantly throw tridents at me if I ever left my house. So glad to have a pc now and be playing Java.
@@ianroberts3777 Yeah I found 4 drowned spawns which had tridents. Still not a lot compared to the amount that I found without tridents, but in the span of 3 minutes, it’s a lot. Out of the 4 I found only one dropped a trident, and my sword had looting III and a bunch of other enchantments. Also you forgot to mention the villager trading. I found a Novice librarian who can apparently infinitely give me mending now only for 26 emeralds (including the hero of the village discount) and a book. All of my gear has mending on it now. They’re about to rebalance it though so get as much as you can from it as possible.
This sounds more like skill issue. And ironically Java mf complain that they want more combat whilst they aren't willing to face the "annoying " version of the mobs. The skeletons are only a problem if one of them have crazy enchants which is rare, you can easily turn a battle to your advantage if you push a creeper to explode in a large horde or let the skeletons attack other mobs and watch the chaos ensure with you picking up the left overs. The combat is similar to pre 1.9 Java and you can stunlock mellee attackers, moreover you have also a higher range for punching/block placement. In bedrock the Trident is the most overpowered weapon(even compared to the Java axe) and an easy one to acquire. All that being said, I play on mobile, the "backwater" of bedrock, yet I can do all of those things without an issue, if you have a problem with difficulty then play it on easy, otherwise get good.
trident drowned are already menaces on java with how much damage they can do if you aren't properly armored, I can't imagine what they're like on bedrock if they're somehow buffed.
I feel like the minecraft community (usually Java players) are more disrespectful of bedrock than mojang is. Though mojang keeps removing features from bedrock so in some time bedrock will probably be just as bad as Java
@@TerrasScourgei used to play pocket edition and legacy console, this if course means i switched to bedrock when it released. and part of the reason i just disrespect it so much is because of how bad it is. esp after switching to java, it is actually abominable what a terrible and irredeemable version if minecraft it is, and it makes me sad as a former bedrock player
When I saw this video title I was like "OMG I LOVE HIVE ON BEDROCK" but I understand why you are trying to get these fixed! I experience almost all these problems and they should be fixed! Good to see you alive and making videos!
I only play Bedrock for two reasons: 1. Performance 2. All my friends use Bedrock If those factors weren't there, I would've still been running Java. Now of course there are some things I like Bedrock over Java for, but these are the two main reasons.
java has some great performance optimisation mods that make the game run nearly as good as it does on bedrock, but its still totally annoying they dont just optimise their game
@@hibilbo4755 yeah, I've recently found out that my PC actually runs much better on Java than bedrock even when I have shaders on. So now the only real reason I play bedrock is bcus of my friends.
@@Aetherial_Moth Frankly, I hate it when people say that multiplayer is easy as an advantage of the Bedrock version. Java has a mod called Essential Mod that makes multiplayer easier. Of course I understand that Bedrock has more players, but if your friend has the Java version, you should play multiplayer in Java.
19:48 not to mention: skins dont even work propperly my sister looks like a standard skin on my screen and i look like steve on her screen but on every other persons screen, we have our normal skins
16:56 this is a thing across all platforms, it’s called sprint cut. it is mainly on other players servers and your sprint will randomly cut off and this is especially annoying for parkour and it’s not in java
here are some of my personal issues with bedrock: 1. skeletons seem to have a way faster firing rate, and using shields sometimes just straight up does nothing? you still get hurt 2. there's this thing it does sometimes where if you turn to look at something close to you (for example a wall) it'll ever so subtly zoom out (or in? can't remember) the entire screen for no reason and it's just annoying to look at for me 3. double clicking an item in your inventory to pick up the rest of the same item usually takes about 5 or 6 attempts to actually work, and changing the speed of your double click doesn't seem to change anything 4. i'm just gonna expand on point #86, if you happen to be playing with friends on your own world, if the person hosting taps out it will kick everyone else from the game. changing the graphics to borderless window seems to fix it, but you still can't be tapped out for any longer than say 15 seconds 5. getting in and out of water is way too slow for some reason, stepping a tenth of your body in water already puts you in single block tall swimming position 6.the controls just feel weird and clanky overall idk how to explain it, it just feels bad 7. i don't like the menus when creating a world or looking for a specific setting. i find the java one way more intuitive 8. i don't like how instead of the achievements being for each individual world, they're for your whole xbox account i think that's really dumb, they could have it be both on your account for the first time you get an achievement while still giving you an achievement in the world itself now here are some good bedrock things i wish they also had in java 1. using bone meal on any flower to duplicate it 2. bone meal on sugarcanes!!!! i cannot stress how useful this is 3. breeding cooldown for animals is waaaay shorter 4. useful cauldrens (dye, potions) 5. being able to place blocks ahead of you is HUGE. bridging is way easier in bedrock than it is in java, especially if you're a worrywart and standing on the edge of a block is stressful to you 6. the fact you can have clear parts in your skin is great it makes for fun pranks but also just has so much potential for cool skins 7. honestly just the fact you can crossplay with your friends who may not have a pc makes it all worth it
@@LegendaryRedUno basically a server that includes the minigame “Uhc” (ultra hardcore) which you can look up if your curious about what Uhc looks like, something like hoplite or hypixel Uhc should give you a better idea about it
Bro, for me, the most annoying thing about bedrock is how big the animation is when you are on fire. It covers the whole damn screen, you can't see a thing, and it lasts for so long, even if you only stepped in fire for a millisecond.
I went as far as making my own low fire animation that's even shorter than the other ones, because every other low fire I found still wasn't short enough

I liked your last point, it it the one that frustrates me the most. It's like people forget everything that is good about bedrock edition and only focus on the bad. I do want these to be fixed, but they need to remember that both versions have issues.
Bedrock seems to run fine for me, but the 2 glitches I've encountered are the sounds of thunder in broad daylight with no thunderstorm, and zombies and skeletons not burning in the daytime. Odd
dont be. im a bedrock player and i perfer it. there are many advantages bedrock has that java just doesnt. example, we actually have arms on armour stands. sure, its kinda useless but there are many more.
10:13 it’s for charging crossbows with firework rockets and also in case you haven’t noticed, you can’t right click the offhand things in bedrock, that’s why the shield is used by sneaking and why you can’t put 99.9% of the items in the offhand

19:06 I remember my eyes just vanishing from my current skin, and to be honest, I am happy they are gone. I liked the blinking, but to be honest, I was never a fan of their eye choices. Still playing XB1 edition here though! Occasionally will play on Bedrock, but XB1 Edition is where home is truly at when it comes to Minecraft.
Omg, the "tabbing out of the game" one annoys me so much every time! I also once made a bedrock cross-play server and while testing, the game kept crashing for the weirdest reasons...
bedrock was supposed to be a "optimized" and "better" version then java but playing on java is genuinely much more calmer and less lagier as a redstoner
Back in my console days, in my survival servers, there was a bug when I wore elytra. Even when I wasn't flying with them (I just had them on while walking on the ground) I was one block tall so only my feet were solid. My head could go through anything, even though it looked like I was 2 blocks tall to other players. This did cause a visual bug when I went through blocks where my screen turned black momentarily, but it was actually pretty handy for trapping villagers, rerolling their trades, and then escaping without them able to escape too.
#99 is true for all versions of the game. Pets can only teleport if they're on solid blocks, which is probably the only time they DON'T need to. They should at least be able to teleport from water and lava.
Bedrock player of 6 years here. Never encountered a single glitch, not once. I’ve had maybe 10-15 really bad lag spikes. If your game is buggy, it’s definitely because your console is bad, because most of the “glitches” I see on bedrock are nothing more than lag spikes. Speaking of bugs, Java has a variety of them. Starting with our first and most popular bug, the boat. It neglects all damage between certain Y levels, an example of a Y level in which it does not neglect damage from is Y level 49. The Y, often referred to as Y level, is your height. It measures how many blocks you are in the air. Another one is the door. Upon placing a door down in Java edition, while underwater, you can make a two block air pocket, and breath. This violates Pascals law, which I will provide a detailed definition of if requested. That being said, the door might be excusable under the circumstance that Mojang intentionally did this. As for the boat, it’s 110% a bug, because it only works within certain Y levels. However, Bedrock does have some quirks too, but none of them are really worth mentioning because they were all patched or the source of the problem was completely eliminated. An example is Hardcore mode in Bedrock edition. Sometimes, players would die out of no where and lose their entire world to nothing, but that’s really it. The only other excuse(s) for as to why Bedrock is worse than Java is the difficulty. If you put your average Bedrock player next to a Java player, and let them fight, the Java player is surely to win unless you give the Bedrock player sharpness V on their sword, because it gives a total potential of 14 hearts of attack damage not including critical hits. Whereas on Java, it only applies 0.2 attack damage, so at maximum you could get around a 1.7 attack damage increase, which is extremely low compared to Bedrock. Another excuse could be the mobs. They hit you from much further, and overall deal more damage. Speaking of damage, your hearts are very valuable in Bedrock edition. While in Java, food is overpowered and any damage you could easily just eat off, however in Bedrock, damage taken will linger with you for some time even after eating. As for the updates, Bedrock has received more overall updates than Java. Bedrock has over 300M players though, so that makes sense for as to why Bedrock would be Mojang’s primary focus. There’s not much to say about the updates, it’s pretty clear and I don’t know why people say Java has gotten better let alone more updates than Bedrock.
Bedrock is the main focus for Microsoft right now because it makes the most money. People spend money on the game, on realms, on the marketplace, etc. Ofcourse Bedrock has more players because it's available for PC, Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. To me it's just weird that sometimes they fix something on Java and not on Bedrock and vice versa. I've played Java for a long time before I started playing on Bedrock on console and now I'm back at Java and I have to say, I like Java more than Bedrock. There are so many mods for Java (completely free also), from changing the whole game and making it more difficult to fixing bugs and better performance mods. Tbh, the glitches and bugs on Bedrock aren't that bad but I've encountered a bunch. Not game breaking bugs but still bugs that shouldn't be there. Even though there are many bugs on Vanilla Java Minecraft, a lot of these bugs can be fixed by (free) mods. Overall, I think people hate too much on Bedrock edition even though I think Java is superior, Bedrock ain't that bad.
@@DeSch0ft I agree. Java is definitely more fun to play because of the lower difficulty level and the amount of exploits it offers, which I believe is intentionally there because Mojang has kept them there for a pretty decent amount of time. Also, I forgot to mention the very common Nether glitch in Bedrock. Upon entering the Nether, if you didn’t switch to peaceful mode beforehand, you’ll probably get mobbed by a bunch of magma cubes, skeletons, or piglins if you’re not wearing gold armor. I actually lost nearly all of my equipment in one of my worlds to this glitch like a month ago, because my spawn just so happened to be right next to lava. Now, I just use a mine cart or switch to peaceful mode to let it load. Texture glitches rarely happen to me in Bedrock, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t had them before. When you start breaking a door with your fist in third person, you can view your hitbox for some reason. Another thing, is in the Trial Chambers, when you enter the 3rd room (It spawned cave spiders for me), if you try to break the spawner after completing it, if there’s a pot in the left corner in front of you, a big black splotch appears on it only when you’re breaking the spawner. The shaders on Java are beautiful, that’s honestly one of the biggest reasons for as to why I play it as much as I do. Both of them have some cons and pros, like the health on Bedrock, or the attack cooldown on Java, or the Wither on bedrock (Which is absolutely horrendous it needs to be nerfed💀). They both have some amazing features to offer.
@@deadshot_ed1ts Definitely agree. I just want best of both worlds. I've had the Nether portal glitch happen to me a bunch of times in Bedrock. Sometimes when I entered the Nether, I was already dead before the Nether was even loaded and sometimes I took the portal to go back to the overworld and probably was killed while I was in a loading screen. For me, texture glitches on bedrock only happened with placing doors, sometimes they were just invisible. I can say I had more texture glitches on Java, blocks being invisible or completely black, doors only having the upper half loaded in, the background of the main menu being completely white, my character skin being completely black. I'd actually like The Wither to be more difficult on Java since I like a challenge when fighting bosses. That's why I've downloaded the Savage Ender Dragon mod. Unfortunately I can't find a mod for the version that I'm currently playing on that makes The Wither harder. Talking about versions, I really hate that you can't go back to older versions of minecraft on Bedrock and hope Mojang will implement that in the future for Bedrock players.
@@DeSch0ft Yeah. Plus the villager trading on Bedrock is extremely unbalanced. A novice librarian gives me mending for 26 emeralds and a book including the hero of the village discount, which I can pretty much farm because a thousand blocks away is a pillager outpost. That’s extremely cheap considering the fact that you’re pretty much set for the whole game once all of your equipment has mending, and you get a minimum of 20 emeralds on normal difficulty per raid. I just have to put it on my netherite chest plate and then all of my gear is enchanted. I’ve built a watchtower in my village so that I can just snipe the mobs and have a raid done in five minutes. Mojang is close to rebalancing the trading though, because it’s already to the point where you can test it. If you go to the create world thing and go to experiments, you’ll find it there.
Not at all, I never experienced any of these glitches, LIKE NONE! The fact that you believe this jerk is absolutely tragic and you know what i have a question, how come java TH-camrs play bedrock once and somehow experience every "glitch"?

You're right. The most annoying part is that some servers on bedrock cross platform on java, so when it's a bedrock player vs a java player. A java player can have a golden apple when playing pvp which makes them not able to switch tabs, but with bedrock players on the other hand, they'll have to switch tabs to eat an golden apple which takes alot more time. This isn't fair, and the developers of the game should really consider expanding off-hand for items on bedrock. This could have so much potential.
I personally like that the Bedrock wither fight is harder than Java's. The Java wither is pretty much an NPC and easily cheesed (without using an actual cheese like end portal/bedrock trapping. The Bedrock wither got nerfed damage-wise, but it is a well-designed boss imo, unlike the Java wither. I don't know too many differences between the enderdragons other than that the Java one flings you up high for an MLG challenge, and one-cycling with beds is different, but I wouldn't say one is better or worse (although I haven't fought the Java enderdragon in a while).
22:52 i had a weird dream where i could do this in a secret menu or something but since its bedrock edition there were only like 4 versions you could switch to
breaking blocks under gravity affected blocks causes some of them to break for no reason, this is really annoying when you have a concrete powder tower because you have to wait each time you break the concrete at the bottom or you'll end up with a bunch of leftover powder
I found myself having a bug where my Minecraft just freezes for a second every like 10 minutes. It’s so annoying. Also the Minecraft main menu is so bad on controller. Especially the marketplace because you just don’t know what button you’re on
Here are some reasons why I feel like a black person from the 18th century when I played on xbox console 1. Did you know Minecraft bedrock had shaders 6 years ago that even console players were able run with wavey water and everything else like Java 2. About 12 or 13 days ago Xbox made the 10th patch from Xbox users downloading custom mods from Xbox. I mean it's not like there's a lot of competition in the bedrock modding community. Why did they do this money ofc players are now forced to only get mods from the Minecraft marketplace on Xbox. 3. Number three custom mod packs that are downloaded break usually when there's a new update. Console players are not able to switch what version of Minecraft they're on 4. I'm pretty sure we all knew this but every time we get a new mob we only get one at a time. 5. Microsoft actually attempts to downgrade their games and only focus on improving it when it doesn't get enough popularity (example shaders pretty much now there trying release it again for Xbox players trying keep up with the graphics with fortnight to stay in competition) 6. The company behind it is greedy as hell honestly you're better off playing anything else on Minecraft then Xbox Now then why should I stop that. With Minecraft let's talk about console Xbox on Roblox 1. A game that is meant to be text and chatted Xbox players are not able to chat Why you might ask? Simple according to them Xbox players were two toxic but when playing Roblox I see toxic people everywhere 2. When searching a game you can only see 25 of the results. 3. It took them 7 or 6 years the Xbox Roblox just to get a new GUI system that barely works. And the only reason why they updated it was because of PlayStation. 4. You can't make a private server 5. You can't voice chat with PC platforms Are ready I give you credit if you're reading this far now then but don't worry I can still name more. Let's talk about the games and gamepass 1.Gamepass takes forever the update 2. Games that are popular come out a year or two later like security breach also ruin DLC still isn't out yet (Okay I can't think of much but that right now but it's really crappy) Now then let's check Xbox report 1. Offering a $50 or $100 Dollar gift card for an event/ tournament will get you suspended for 4 days. inaccurate Xbox report system. (Also fellow console users fight for your rights we can all stop feeling like a black guy from the 18th century for Minecraft so pls let's all give Minecraft a bad rating until we get modding we deserve)
I think this is actually because bedrock does chunk base spawning. So mobs only spawn in the chunk you’re currently in. I’m not exactly sure how Javas works but I know that baedrocks spawning is different because of the
I remember a time when I was like 10, on my Nintendo Switch; I've been building this world for years and it had all of my creations in it, and was really special to me. As the game updated, the world got deleted at one point. I could never get it back.
It doesn't cover the screen but what is actually annoying is that items like snowball and apple and all item with format version 1.16.100 and higher have extremely weird and broken animations and this issue was added in 1.20 and still not fixed sadly
with the offhand, it makes sense, there arent enough buttons or any buttons in a good place in order to use the offhand, just because PC could doesnt mean all other consoles should be excluded and miss out on that feature
Huh? I use an XBox controller on PC (Java, with manual mapping) & it's simple: Right trigger uses right hand with primary (hit, break blocks) function, left trigger uses left hand with secondary (place block, eat, interact) function. Example: Torch in left hand, pickaxe in right. Left trigger places torches, right trigger mines blocks.
Did you use night vision in Java when comparing how the water looks to Bedrock on #25? Cause the water in Bedrock looks like it's actually water as it gets darker the deeper it goes.
You forgot to mention that players on your world disappear after about 6 chunks away which is a huge pain for finding your friends like wtf is the point of me putting my render distance up or simulation distance up if you cant see your friends? Same goes for mobs
Yeah, and the fact either chambers are way harder on bedrock means you usually have to fight it. Not impossible but more tricky to kill a wither fast. It’s fun when you have to actually fight a boss instead of just using it to get a wither star
I play both, and I am noticing a lot of problems with both, something I find annoying, is that you can’t turn off gamertags in Java like you can in bedrock, so it’s annoying when we play hide and seek
You can also turn off gamertags on java if you use commands /team add /team modify nametagVisibility never you can then add people with the command /team join
14:58 This was a glitch in Java Edition a long time ago known as "click mining". It was patched in multiplayer in version Beta 1.3 (released in 2011), and it was effectively patched in singleplayer when singleplayer was changed to an integrated server in full release 1.3 (released in 2012). It's weird how some things that were patched 10+ years ago in Java remain in Bedrock to this day (including this and being able to break blocks slightly faster with a sword)
A FEW CORRECTIONS:

What I hate the most about bedrocks horrible offhand system is in a video where Minecraft answered questions from the community, one of the questions was when they will add the better offhand to bedrock. They played it off AS A JOKE basically saying “why do you need that anyway? Do you want to hold a flower in your offhand when you’re fighting mobs?” These weren’t their exact words, but I remember dying inside after hearing this a couple years ago :-/

Bro ps4 has no multi-player you need a subscription

Java may be less smooth and stuff, but in my experience has way less intrusive glitches. Not a bedrock defender but some facts about Bedrock that I learnt are
1.) Bedrock and Java have 2 different Mojang Offices
2.) Bedrock Devs have to take onto consideration of Pocket Edition. Something like Shield crouching, no toggling sprint/crouch, no fast switch of gamemodes is because of Pocket.
3.) The games are coded differently. Java Edition is coded in Java and Bedrock is coded in C++. Two very different coding languages.
Why are you scared of saying you are defending bedrock, it's fine

So about the off hand, Nautilus Shells are only offhandable because of the way bedrock items work. When an item is made it can be allowed to be put in the offhand, or not. The rockets are allowed because that’s how crossbows work with fireworks, while the Nautilus shell is allowed because drowns are allowed to hold them in their offhand. This technically means all items could be put in the offhand just by swapping a false value to true in the code, but since mobile has no controls for it they haven’t done it yet. Each edition of the game is special to me for different reasons and serve different purposes, but I still think Bedrock is not as bad as people say, and Console is still the best(my opinion, don’t take it seriously!) Minecraft on my device runs pretty well, sometimes gets laggy but that's it.
@@ΓιώργοςΠαρασκευόπουλος-ω4τExactly, I agree that skeletons and drowneds are buffed on bedrock but it’s not so bad that you can’t kill them
trident drowned are already menaces on java with how much damage they can do if you aren't properly armored, I can't imagine what they're like on bedrock if they're somehow buffed.

1. skeletons seem to have a way faster firing rate, and using shields sometimes just straight up does nothing? you still get hurt
2. there's this thing it does sometimes where if you turn to look at something close to you (for example a wall) it'll ever so subtly zoom out (or in? can't remember) the entire screen for no reason and it's just annoying to look at for me
3. double clicking an item in your inventory to pick up the rest of the same item usually takes about 5 or 6 attempts to actually work, and changing the speed of your double click doesn't seem to change anything
4. i'm just gonna expand on point #86, if you happen to be playing with friends on your own world, if the person hosting taps out it will kick everyone else from the game. changing the graphics to borderless window seems to fix it, but you still can't be tapped out for any longer than say 15 seconds
5. getting in and out of water is way too slow for some reason, stepping a tenth of your body in water already puts you in single block tall swimming position
6.the controls just feel weird and clanky overall idk how to explain it, it just feels bad
7. i don't like the menus when creating a world or looking for a specific setting. i find the java one way more intuitive
8. i don't like how instead of the achievements being for each individual world, they're for your whole xbox account i think that's really dumb, they could have it be both on your account for the first time you get an achievement while still giving you an achievement in the world itself
now here are some good bedrock things i wish they also had in java
1. using bone meal on any flower to duplicate it
2. bone meal on sugarcanes!!!! i cannot stress how useful this is
3. breeding cooldown for animals is waaaay shorter
4. useful cauldrens (dye, potions)
5. being able to place blocks ahead of you is HUGE. bridging is way easier in bedrock than it is in java, especially if you're a worrywart and standing on the edge of a block is stressful to you
6. the fact you can have clear parts in your skin is great it makes for fun pranks but also just has so much potential for cool skins
7. honestly just the fact you can crossplay with your friends who may not have a pc makes it all worth it
Number 1 is literally so true

Ok I mean if they’re in lava it’s probably too late.

In Bedrock, offhanding fireworks is just for Crossbows

Here are some reasons why I feel like a black person from the 18th century when I played on xbox console
1. Did you know Minecraft bedrock had shaders 6 years ago that even console players were able run with wavey water and everything else like Java
Console players are not able to switch what version of Minecraft they're on
4. I'm pretty sure we all knew this but every time we get a new mob we only get one at a time.
5. Microsoft actually attempts to downgrade their games and only focus on improving it when it doesn't get enough popularity
(example shaders pretty much now there trying release it again for Xbox players trying keep up with the graphics with fortnight to stay in competition)
6. The company behind it is greedy as hell honestly you're better off playing anything else on Minecraft then Xbox
Now then why should I stop that. With Minecraft let's talk about console Xbox on Roblox
1. A game that is meant to be text and chatted Xbox players are not able to chat
Why you might ask? Simple according to them Xbox players were two toxic but when playing Roblox I see toxic people everywhere
2. When searching a game you can only see 25 of the results.
3. It took them 7 or 6 years the Xbox Roblox just to get a new GUI system that barely works. And the only reason why they updated it was because of PlayStation.
4. You can't make a private server
5. You can't voice chat with PC platforms
Are ready I give you credit if you're reading this far now then but don't worry I can still name more. Let's talk about the games and gamepass
1.Gamepass takes forever the update
2. Games that are popular come out a year or two later like security breach also ruin DLC still isn't out yet
(Okay I can't think of much but that right now but it's really crappy)
Now then let's check Xbox report
1. Offering a $50 or $100 Dollar gift card for an event/ tournament will get you suspended for 4 days. inaccurate Xbox report system.
