Excellent brake 🎁 gift, those 🧳 luggage racks a very problematic to solve potential damage upon final assembly even where they clamp down, don't know if you can use rubber or silicon tape to prevent paint failure and spots for rust to start.

Oh yeah, I am planning to use silicone tubing, cut them in half then put them between the gutter rail to protect the paint 😄I tested it and it works

I always look forward to seeing the next video. I've always known it's really expensive to do a body-off restoration. But in some cases it's cheaper than a new car.
BTW, when you were camping in northern California, did you go an check out Burney Falls? It is absolutely beautiful!
Yep, restoration of a classic is really expensive but the value goes up, not like a new car that goes down the day your drive it :( No, we didn't get to see it! we were super close to it too!
Many, many years ago, I tried to teach a college friend from Hong Kong how to drive a stick. Let just say that some people were never meant to drive a standard shift vehicle!!

This is not a critisism in the slightest, loving the journey you're on and the van is utterly epic in a massive way but every build I see on TH-cam or the TV made in The States, the builders always use Willwood calipers. Not that they're all bad but don't you guys have any different caliper manufacturers over there? It doesn't seem to matter if it's a drag car, boat trailer, whatever; always Willwood. Wouldn't a refurbed second hand set of Porsche Brembo items be cheaper and more than likely more effective than the generic Willwood ones? Even period ones?
I realise there are different spec's and fitments, just a question. I build vintage anything, bikes, cars etc and the choice and variations are endless. Keep on keeping on, Koni is going to be one of the best busses on the planet after you're done, she's absolutely gorgeous, well done to you all on such a fantstic resto, cant wait to see her done but coud you string the edits out to make our enjoyment last longer please?
