The timing of this video was impeccable a few days after Phuket, or more precisely Kamala was severely flooded out. I guess that was an extreme event however I'd certainly not want to be holidaying there right now 😂🤣😂. Elsewhere, generally a bit of rain is always refreshing so I'd be all for a trip to Thailand in the rainy season. That accommodation was awesome. It's amazing the value you can get in the low season guys. Lovely to see you two back together separated by family and business for a while. I can sense some sort of an announcement coming our way 😂🤣😂 May be wrong but just a gut feeling 😂🤣😂. Anyway back to the video and enough of me being cheeky . 😍😍 😎Loved it guys. I must visit the North one day. My mate is in Chiang Mai right now and planning to rent a motor cycle and is off to Pai and then Chiang Rai. He's having a great time. Cheers champs 🍷🍷🍷
Waaaahhaa! No news for now mate 🤵♂️🤣 though it would not be a perfect location to ask a particular question. It can rain so heavily that no drainage system is good enough 😅 Thanks again champ Steven 🏆
I love the rainy season. You covered the reasons... less tourists, nice cloud cover so less beating sun, rain occasional not constant except the rare storm. And the rain when it comes is usually not even cold, so getting wet if you forget an umbrella, which I always do, is not so terrible. The only drawback for me is the hiking trails get washed out, and that is one of the great reasons to live in the north - great hiking. Take care and thanks!
Yeah! That’s so true! And even when they are not washed out we’re hazarded to go for a hike as it might pour down while hiking 😅 we do find ourselves more inside unfortunately. Thanks again champ 🏆🤗
Rainy season in the North looks amazing - great to see Noona back with you and enjoyed hearing for her views on this time of year - Wonderful scenery & lots of smiles - Thanks Champs ✔️✌️👍👋🙏
Thanks Will! It’s great to be back together again 🥰 Visa is always a difficult one. At the moment we’re both on a tourist visa. I’m happy to talk about it in detail a bit more via Insta or Email 🙂 By the sound of it you’re getting closer and closer 🤩 you could learn Thai for a year on a ED visa. I think that’s a good option for you (not many hours, you’ll learn some Thai, and a year visa. Also Muay Thai would be cool. 2 days a week training and get yourself fitt😍💪
@@Chai_Travel Yea, the planning has begun. Less than 2 years away from moving now. I'll probably contact you with questions when I'm getting closer to moving, if that's ok? Would love to get some advice some time if you're up for it.
I have been to Phuket in May, June and September and l will be back there in 3 weeks. I like the rainy season as the rain freshens the atmosphere, washes away smells, the place is not overcrowded, prices are lower, and if you do get wet, it is not cold. There is always something to do and see. Although the rain can be heavy it is generally of short duration.
Beautiful views! Your videos are so nice. You are calm & not loud, like so many others on TH-cam. Wonderful job & thanks so much for all your SEAsian videos. Learning so much!
Love Thailand in the Rainy Season, already booked my ticket for next month to go back with my wife, lovely video once more, seriously awesome stay you guys found there, that view is amazing.
I love those rustic villages and the stunning landscapes. Plus, I love rain. I enjoy seeing the love ❤between you and Noona. I can't wait for the wedding video.
Aw thanks! Haha the wedding video?! 🫣 🤭🤭 I would film it but I’m pretty sure Noona wants to keep that day private 😜 but let’s see. Anyway you’ll definitely know when we have our wedding planned 🥰 thanks mate!
Oh, so nice, you landed in paradise🤩your little villa is awesome, the view is wonderful. Love to see Noona finally again traveling with you Chai✌You bring us to the best region, it is worth to visit the north TH, you have very beautiful scenery - great video to show natures beauty in the off season, thanks Champs 🙏🍀 I didn`t like Bangkok during rainy season, because some streets got flooded with dirty water and it wasn`t nice to walk in this "soup" with flip-flops😆
Yes! Haha it was about time Noona joined for video 🥰 it’s so stunning in the north. I can see why BKK in the rain is not the best. Although I personally rather be there in rainy season then in dry/hot season 😷 thanks again Fioretta! Greetings from us ❤️
Lovely and enjoin you two. I think saw you two in Central near Airport once, but I wasn't remembered at that time. After look at your chanel then I do realized. 🎉❤😊😊
Beautiful place with an amazing view. Is the rainy season the same period of time during a year in Thailand. In Malaysia, it's different times between the east and west coasts, Sabah and Sarawak. Having said that, since the global climate change, there are more rain downfalls in Malaysia, not only during rainy seasons.
Pretty much the same yes. Though in the Gulf of Thailand it kicks in a few months later I believe. Yeah floodings are getting worse all over the world I’m afraid brother Yasin. Cheers 🏆
@@Chai_Travel I'm afraid so. The global climate change is a serious issues for all of us. More haze, flood, global warming, are just some of the environmental change. Let's hope that the world's leaders are taking the right precautions. 😀
Leuk hoor!
Is phi phi open during rainy season? Or in heavy rains? I am traveling there for 4 days from phuket in 3 week's time. So just curious to know the flood situation.
Hi hi, There are only a few places flooded. Mainly, Phuket is not so bad as what you see on social media (It's only a small area which is hit very bad) Phi Phi is open all year long. I'd recommend booking it when you are in Phuket a day or two before you wanna go. It's hard to predict the weather at this moment for then.
Over all there are more mosquitoes depending where you are. When you turn on the aircon and put it below 24 Celsius the unlikely to bite you at night 😊
You answered my questions about the Rainy season perfectly, thank you. The best way to respond to the commenter above is to forget you read such rudeness. Some people are just weird.

Can I ask what Visa you're on too? I'm thinking about which I should get when I go to Thailand, leaning toward education visa to start.
