Carving a Giant Feather - ASMR

- Carving with cottonwood bark! I found this nice big piece and made a great big feather from it for my bride.
No talking or music in this video, just the pleasant sound of the chisel removing wood shavings and bits as I carve. This video is shown mostly at high speed, for a fun and interesting look at how I made this giant feather.
I’ll be posting a few non-narrated videos now and then, just so you all know. When I do so, I won’t be showing subscriber projects, as I do so love to do (as a way of saying thank you for your support.) The idea is to maintain the speed and flow of the video.

Inspired, wood worker here, nice tools. I use cypress slabs to carve white perch. Creativity is always appreciated.

Good morning, Rod and Susan! Wow! This feather reminds me of a painting I once did for a little girls bedroom. She wanted flowers with baby’s breath on it. It was tedious and took hours. The smiles and giggles were well worth it, though. She is eleven yrs old now and it still hangs in her room. Your carving skills are amazing. It could have been a simple feather, but you took it up a notch or two. Another great God, given talent! Be blessed! Hugs all around. ❤️
