Didn't older versions of Windows have an option specific to not install gpu drivers. Anyway thanks for the video it helped me with this problem.
thanks for the feedback
Have been going insane trying to stop windows from installing Intel display driver 27.20.100.9664 it has a serious RAM leak bug that eats up my memory in an hour. I tried this method and windows still tried downloading that driver. I will never be free.
hmm not sure why it isn't blocking it, maybe try in device manager and tick to prevent automatic install
@@mikesunboxing I downloaded some newer drivers and manually updated. Looks like windows doesn't want to revert this time. Very very strange. Hopefully it lasts.
why cant they just add a feature to stop updating automatically im just pausing updates to prevent this
yeah that would be a great feature
when im playing my computer frezees and when i restart pc i see the my amd radeon is automatically uninstalled and video adapter is disabled its happening sometimes what can i do

Agree to the rules by clicking the emoji and you will get access to the rest of the Discord channels
i found the way , for this when ever window update ur graphic driver , go to device manager and roll back it , it will be rolled back in few seconds and done
THANK YOU~~~
You're welcome 😊
I keep every once in a while boot up my PC and it's using the stupid basic Microsoft display drivers. It's so annoying

Thank you so much! In my case I use AMD RADEON graphics card and it itself updates to latest drivers, but windows fucks it all
hope it is all working okay now
@@mikesunboxing actually no, whenever I click check for updates it still starts downloading amd driver, but changing it from device manager did the job for me.

@@AIHub-ot5xy I changed the audio driver from windows one to the custom one by updating through the device manager.
Hi sir, can you help me with my graphics driver, when i updated my laptop it didn't update the graphics driver automatically, when i try to update my display adapter is says "The Installation of this device is forbidden by system policy. Contact your system administrator"
laptops generally have a specific driver from the manufacturer, are you using that driver or directly from AMD or nvidia?
Thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊

Sounds good doesn't work. Still installing in the background.
can you unplug the LAN cable so switch off the WiFi?
Doesn’t work it keeps installing windows drivers no matter what
what gpu and windows version is it
for me not working
sorry to hear that, what part is not working
did not work in windows 11
sorry to hear that
This doesnt stop the automatic drivers FYI.
yes this is an older video now, i'll have to take another look
i dont know but that not working
sorry to hear that
Yesterday, i was facing a problem like some drivers were updating throughout windows update but on that time all were installations failed and they gave a download error code despite of my stable Internet and update all drivers from Driver booster pro..
then i saw " Error encountered " message on windows update..
isn't driver booster pro a malware?
some settings are managed by administrator
you need to be an admin or logged in as admin to do this
doesnt work
unplug the LAN cable or disconnect from the Wifi
didn't work
sorry about that, was the LAN or Wifi connected?
doesn't help windows 10 keeps downgrading my gpu drivers goddamiit
Yeah windows has a mine of its own
thank you very much, i wanted to make sure no problems would arise when installing my 5700xt in a few days from now
good luck with it
I have donne this and windows still download amd drivers by its own.windows 11
sorry to hear that
@@mikesunboxing the thing is that its not your solution that doesn't work.every video has rhe same solution.i dont understand why it keeps happening.in my windows 11 amd drivers are a part of official windows update, not in the extra ones and i dont get a confirmation message if i want to download it.the moment i search for updates it appears and downloads instantly without having the chance to stop it
Microsoft still updated the graphics drivers i had my computer set up with the drivers i want from AMD and the ass wipes Microsoft is installed their drivers i had i did this and it still did not work i am pissed io am going back to linux where i have control over my own pc i have had it.
dont blame you
See this is why i use linux as my work pc nowadays and windows as a toy just to play a few games i think at this point i'm going to completely disable windows update entirely cause i disabled driver update in group editor and advanced system settings and it still installs drivers automatically somehow fu7k this shit
You look kinda like Jack Black.
i have heard that before, it is the eyes
not working..still install stupid driver..hate window 10
