It's kind of a harvest year for the corn. We spent several days in the field. Each year when we do the hard work to harvest the corn, we will need more meat to make up for the hard work. We would enjoy a bowl of hot rice noodles with stewed chicken and pig tripe soup, some griddle-cooked pig intestines, and stir-fried pig liver with garlic bolts. Then after a good night's sleep, we will wake up the next morning to another energetic day.

This is the hardest episode to watch because I love to eat animal innards and these dishes really reminded me of my childhood. It was always a treat when my Mom buys stewed pig intestines and we would savor it with hot rice. I can smell the aroma of the dishes in Xiao Ge's video and it makes me salivate. Thank you Xiao Ge for bringing food memories to us!

The production value alone and how this girl looks is not something an uneducated rural villager making less than $400 USD per year would have down.
