Hope you don't have problems with it. Ram dealers take weeks to even look at your truck and don't supply you with a loaner car in the meantime. Let this be a warning.
Would have been nice if the ram sounded like a bmw inline 6 hopefully the aftermarket makes this sound sweet and hopefully the turbo lag isnt terrible i know it wont be as bad as a first gen Ecoboost which it shouldnt since its an inline 6 and turbo engines have come a long way since that first gen ecoboost made my life stressful driving in the city with that 2-3 sec delay
I was looking at the 2025 Big Horns night editions yesterday at the dealer when nobody was there, quad and crew cabs. One had the off-road package which has a rear locker, Falken AT tires, front tow hooks, skid plates, etc. I don't do off road but i like the look of the tow hooks and Falken tires. My 2023 Warlock quad cab is paid for. The 2025's i was looking at list 59-60 and about 48-49K buys them, both that super looking metallic black!!!!

So, the '25 is pretty much unchanged from the '24. Same interior. Same exterior. Same suspension. But now with a leaf blower under the hood. Sorry...a twin-turbo leaf blower. As a Hemi Ram owner, I kind of hate the way that thing sounds (i.e. like an angry minivan), and I'm seriously dubious about the advertised HP/TQ numbers. Turbo engines only develop peak power REALLY high in the rev range, which is fine for tiny sports cars, but trucks need that torque in the low rev range to get moving, especially when towing. And at the end of the day, the leaf blower is giving you the same MPG as the Hemi and won't match the Hemi's capability, so why bother? It's crap like this that makes me wonder WTF Stellantis is thinking. And $82K? Please...
most turbo engines produce power mid range, trucks have been tuned for low range. I will bet you 100 to 1 odds, this will out pull any hemi (stock) with any load.
Having "survived" ownership of a bad hemi ( which side note doesn't even have hemispherical chambers) I'm genuinely excited by a modern, superior I-6 engine configuration. I do hope you enjoy your truck however V-8s are a thing of the past.
@@rdb-pc4sp - I've had mine for 9 years with zero issues. I know others have had serious problems, though, so I'm sorry to hear you were one of them. I'm definitely for modern innovation in drive trains, but having watched Ford's problems with trying to put small-displacement "Eco-boost" engines in literally everything, only to have the turbos detonate, constantly overheating, and engine damage, I'm not sure it was wise of Stellantis to follow Ford down the same road. Toyota is now having the same problems with their iForce-Max power trains (small-displacement engine and hybrid backup). In minvans, SUVs, and cars, that stuff is fine and will probably last a long time and be fairly reliable. Trucks are a different thing. I've owned quite a few and there's really no substitute for the grunt of a V8, regardless of brand. Manufacturers will continue to try new things, which is fine, but I think they'll always come back to the V8 for trucks. Personally, I think Stellantis would have been better served improving the Hemi V8 (yes, I know it hasn't actually been hemispherical in years). They could easily make better power for the displacement and engineer improvements to prevent the kinds of failures you experienced. I guess we'll have to wait and see how the Hurricane performs over time. When those turbos fail...and they will...it's gonna be REALLY expensive to repair. Probably it's biggest saving grace is that it's an I6 instead of a V6. The 4L I6 that Jeep used to make was legendary, though not turbocharged.
My 2019 limited 119k miles still running like new 5.7 hemi, has more standard options I believe like full parking assist and 360 degree cameras, only new upgrades I see is the digital dash and the screen on the glove compartment which I don’t see the point. Also don’t have faith on a little 3L v6 engine for daily towing. I got my truck for 70k out the door, so for 81k I’d rather switch to a Denali 1500

this is not with the 14" screen. Also still manually adjusted steering colomn in 2025 lol. The trim is nicer on this limited as the 2024 limited. try to do a fully loaded night edition one if you can.
Another warning here on reliability. My 2021 Limited has been in the shop for 129 and counting for an electrical issue. Not getting very good support from Ram Care either. They don’t even know how to fix it. They’ve made at least 10 different attempts at repairs so far.
I finally got it back. They replaced the power distribution center and I have not had the issue in the last month. They think it was a short. Hopefully it’s fixed.
I saw an accident for a Dodge truck think was a 2021, the thing got cut like butter at 60 miles per hour ..a mid-size tree with about 20-25 inches wide trunk was cut it killing the driver thorn In half basically going to the second passenger and cutting his arm while side one flew out only 1 survived of 6 ..the one with one arm left the rest ...died. the Mercedes 500 that hit the other tree on the side both passengers survived.the tree never passed the engine. that truck was cut so bad ..and was so messed up ..compared to the Mercedes. Made of plastic basically with a big motor ...ohh the drivers died 2 months short of graduating HS ..
I like my but new 25 ram its got plenty of power and super smooth but i sure do miss the sound of my Cherokee Srt especially on the cold starts the hurricane sounds like shit😂
Why not just go with a very clean, low miles, dealer cert, 2 years old, good old HEMI? The price drops like 25K. I see so many for sale. You take the truck to your loyal mechanic and for 200.00, they will check it from A-Z. I think, that will be my go, cause I always wanted the Ram Limited as my first truck. I an simply worried about the new inline 6 X 2 Turbos.

Not a Dodge unless it's 2009 or earlier. The new Rams are rated very highly for reliability and have best in class interiors. Super quiet and comfortable.

Only real critique I have is a lack of a"command center" for the rear seats. HVAC and such, maybe radio controls. No rear camera mirror seems odd too.

My Dad's 2006 Corvette Convertible had Chrome "Gumpy" Wheels and the chrome GM emblems on the rear fenders. I thought it looked great! ❤😊

I had a rental '23 Grand Cherokee with the Hemi, I thought the same thing.
MPG 15/21, def. nothing to write home about, perhaps maybe a mild hybrid system is in order to give the 15 to maybe 18city miles.

These engines have NO dip stick to check your oil. Had one on rental and it told me it needed oil after
