Lovely weather for hiking. Strong wind = no midges. To hear native speakers try north Wales on your next visit. Welsh widely spoken everywhere and even television channels in Welsh. I once arrived late in the evening and went into a pub to ask directions to Portmeirion. Everybody was speaking Welsh. As soon as I opened my mouth and London English came out there was instant silence and everyone stared at me. Freaky. I think they might have been cannibals. Anyway....great video and great camera work. Thanks again for sharing.
I remember I was at Ratagan youth hostel, just by Glen Shiel and there was a group of Americans there and they asked me the time and I said it was 11pm, it was still light, and they literally couldn't believe it! 😄
Hello from South Devon , Dartmoor wild camper here, really enjoying your videos of Cape Wrath, Scotland is a very wild and atmospheric place, if you have not already done, you should visit Dartmoor one day for a long distance trail hike. Lots of tors to visit and ancient historical settlements. Dartmoor has its own permissive camping map online. Fab adventures,!
Oh thank you. I have not been to Devon yet but I will!! I am a Anglophile and my heart is in England. I visit often! I'm going to England tomorrow to do a secret trail I'll reveal in the videos soon
@@hikersheep That'sounds intriguing! Will look forward to more of your videos and adventures. Give me a message if you want a hiking buddy, if you come to Dartmoor, can help with locations / advice too.
You looked so happy walking with Bill, could you not walk the whole day with him, your videos show the true beauty of the trail but also how tough and hard it is, thank you.
I'm glad you like my video. I don't mind walking with other people sometimes...but personally I prefer to walk alone. Talking too much makes me tired ... plus understanding his accent requires full concentration all the time and made me even more tired. Lol
@@hikersheep I thought walking with Biĺl would give you more confidence about not having to worry about navigation and getting lost, concentrating on your map and worrying if you were on the right path will also make you tired, I so want you to complete this trail.
You were right about gaelic. Its different in ireland. JIm was wrong it does matter especially to us who speak it. Other than that his pronunciation wasnt bad
@@hikersheep it's not so clean and tidy like the best bothies. The book says it is in a superb location, but aren't they all. Glencoul, Glendu and Sourlies all beat it hands down, thought tha't's just my opinion

Noted your campsite for next year :). Great job. Little jealous you are out there. Wish I could have kept going.
Absolutely stunning work my friend, these shots are stunning and so nicely executed!

you didn't miss much by not going to Sheval. Despite what the guidebook and others said, I found it disappointing.
Oh...how so?
