Another great vlog, I like the idea Christina of uploading your video as you go along, for us viewers it's as close to a "live" experience of the trail as we'll get. Keep safe All the best George
walking North to South I was determined to take the alternative route to bypass the Falls of Glomach. However, once there the sight of the impressive mountains and a very steep climb put me off and I went via the falls. I wish I had had more guts, but the falls are king of cool. Don't beat yourself up too much about making mistakes, the greatest gift of the CWT is leaning to go off trail and be comfortable with it. Those moments of panic between losing the way and finding it again are to be embraced.
Hi Christina, love watching your videos on the Cape Wrath Trail, it’s certainly on my bucket list of things to do. Thank you ever so much for sharing your adventure. 😀🥾⛰🏴
Great. Someone not going by the falls. For anyone contemplating doing the CWT , it's really useful to see all the route variations as it helps others plan their trip. As far as I know , there is only one set of videos that cover the Great Glen route to Cape Wrath which gives an easier way to Morvich for anyone out of shape ( like me as a perfect example ) , very useful. The only problem with your videos is that they are so entertaining. Very difficult to not binge watch the whole lot from start to finish. That's what my wife does when she starts a series she likes. Only stops to eat.
@@dazhiggy3422 thank you. Oh, I remember that day. I was so scared everyday on Cape Wrath. But I have more experienced hiking in the Highlands now...I have more confidence. :)
Aye up sheep.great video.made me lol when you lost the path.thought you was going to beat yourself up with your trekking poles😂.I admire your determination.
Oh yesss!! I am actually doing the Scottish National Trail right now if you want to watch my current playlist: Scottish National Trail....it will take me back to Cape Wrath
You are so courageous Christina and such an inspiration. All the best for the rest of this track
I agree!
You most definitely have permanent trail legs! I'm behind on watching these videos, but I'm loving them!

Pleased you had a good day, hope there are many more like that on the trail.
Smart idea to take an easier path for a mental break. I would’ve thought, “I need a zero day break!” You still made progress.
Planning this for 2024, this is building my confidence

23 miles! So impressive. You’re so strong.
I haven’t seen you so angry before. The Cape Wrath trail looks so hard. But you’re very brave and an inspiration.
