I studied the first fail not so intensively, watched it on 0.25 speed to find the first frame of the clip, and it is entirely fake. First, if it was real, you would probably hear and possibly see damage to the pants and seat, which there is none. Second if you pause it at 0:38, you can see that there is already a hole in the seat. Third, the seat doesn't travel nearly far enough to expose that much of the pole. Also, if that did happen, there would most likely be blood on the pole or something.
10:38 I found out somewhere that this was supposed to be a record attempt for the longest concert, either broadcasted or just live. Can't remember. But the band had been playing for over twelve hours when this particular clip took place. The drummer literally just passed out from being up and playing for so long nonstop. Probably also explains the no shoes on the singer since standing in shoes is probably more uncomfortable than going barefoot.
