I was not expecting a heavy metal song from Myanmar's and Mongolia's The Voice.... The crowd reaction in the Mongolian crowd is awesome.. a mix of shock and horror.
The Asian dude was actually the best vocalist in this entire video. His technique, breathing, everything is on point. The gutterals, fry and everything he did was technically correct and sounded good.
The girl who sang "Look What You Made Me Do".....incredible, incredible talent! great presence, fantastic vocal control -sweet, then brutish! - the judge's reactions were sophomoric / ignorant at best. This girl is a STAR. Period.

Stefanie is my absolute favorite. It is not my style of music, but her vocal range and flexibility are absolutely stunning, and her passion is overwhelming.
In my opinion Stephanie stuber is the best out of this group. Her vocal has natural talent like she's born for heavy metal, I totally dig in and make me goosebumps!
i have to say her screams sound very much like inhales. not sure if she actually does that, but if she does, she really won't be able to keep that up because literally every extreme vocals coach ever will tell you it hurts your vocal chords in the long run
I highly admire these judges for knowing how to appreciate and seeing heavy metal as a genre of true talent and not just mindless screaming. Even if some are not into it, they knew how to enjoy the performances of these singers.
Those singers are rock gods. For me especially the duo who sing "Bodies" is amazing. The orchestra in the back is already perfect. Most of the songs they play are hard-to-play songs.
OMG the female singers in this really were on another level. the duality in their voices added to the appeal. that last one went between angelic to demonic mode just like that
@@dorkknight0752 Cheating no, you need skills to pull that of to but it sound worse, not that im in to the whole growl thing inhale or exhale. Same with some singers with special kind of voices, you can't like em all.

Jeez, it's such a hard song to sing, he did a phenomenal job , dont know how he managed to arrive at the auditions with those huge balls, carrying them around. Hope he won the season.
It breaks my heart that the US version of the Voice will never see such good fun. Even when someone makes it, the most interesting people get eliminated early.
None of the judges know how to work with these singers. Even though it's a talent and a few people have this ability at this level, they are not given the opportunity because the judges don't have this ability, knowledge or gifting to do it to help give feedback or much less develop their singers. They should have a hard rock metal artist on the panel to judge.
@@weebsarecringe2102 I heard that was because she'd planned to do another song but couldn't get it cleared or something so she didn't have long to prep this, and inhaling is easier. If you hear her other stuff it's definitely not only inhales
The degree to which the last girl managed to maintain the clarity of what she was saying throughout the screaming parts was honestly very very impressive. That is very difficult to do, as is made clear by the previous audition.
She's come such a long way since then - their band's definitely banging in my personal opinion - called Gwendydd , she ditched the clean vocals in favour of more screams and definitely went far with her technique - dare I compare her with the great Angela Gossow :)
Loved the dudes doing Bodies. Looks like they were having so fun! The guy doing Judas Priest was awesome at making his tone just like theirs. So was the Iron Maiden guy. He did great on the chorus. Props to that one chick doing Lamb of God. She was frickin' awesome! And, as everyone else said, props to the band for their playing.

@@Euzly I guessed the show was iover so can he sing normal if not than he has a problem in the later stages because who are you gonna pair him with to sing against? Hope that is better English is not my first language.
I genuinely don't understand how this happens outside the U.S. with great success and not here. I know there's more than enough people who would watch this. I personally find this more natural than the bizarre American vocal styles invented within the past three decades. And I love seeing the appreciation that screaming is a legitimate vocal technique when done right.
the taylor swift take actually fit the song quite well too. i guess in North America, there are just so many popular styles competing whereas the other countries still have respect for rock. Some of the more hardcore stuff takes a bit of getting used to and if you pic something pure hardcore then folks might not understand the work whereas the songs that mix up more traditional vocals with it would/should have a better chance maybe. That Lamb of God performance might be the perfect gateway.
When the one woman singing "Sweet Dreams" came in with the growl I couldn't help but start smiling. I LOVE when people (especially women) can flip from melodic to growl so effortlessly. When Stefanie Stuber's song started I just LOVED the look of confusion and fear on the one female judge's face. That ALWAYS makes me laugh.
If you love growl/clean singing women probably you know Jinjer or Spiritbox:) And I recommend you to get know my favourite Lauren Babic who is excelent clean and growl singer.
@@poinsettia12 Good suggestions. I've heard of Jinjer, but haven't gotten that far into them yet. I also love POWER singers so I'm obsessed with Unleash the Archers. Ad Infinitum is also good.
@@glennmorganfan9411 I said Jinjer and Spiritbox cause they seem to be often compared nowadays:D Personally I prefer Spiritbox just because I really like the tone of Courtney's clean voice. My favourite if we talk about that type of singing. So.. once again I will recommend you A band but this time more like UTA:D They are called Triosphere and I think the song "Marionette" or "World's apart" is good for a start with them.
Rocio Vasquez currently the lead singer of the band called Nervosa. Their latest album called "Perpetual chaos" is available to listen here on TH-cam. Good old fashioned European thrash metal a la early Kreator/Destruction. They are currently on tour in Europe.

Because their Finnish and think too long😂 the guys who took him just wanted to hear him all the way to the end. The other 3 judges don't prefer metal, they sing and do more like pop songs.
The dude made it pretty far in the competition in the end. There was another dude singing metal too and he came second in the whole competition. It was my favorite season of The Voice of Finland.
With some others I understand that the judges fear that they can't sing other style so good. But she clearly showed flexibility, I can't believe that only one judge wanted her.
stefanie stuber is awesome . and this lady is also fantastic. I cant find her youtube because my keyboard is english. I so want to hear more of her art..farkin AWESOME...
Bruh, those are inhales. Which means: 1. Less control 2. Less power 3. Worse, "hollow" sound 4. You can fuck up your voice much more easily That's why nobody does them. And you just compared her to Courtney and Tatiana lmaooo
@@januszwpierdoldrugi6262 yeah but that does not men it is less impressive. Although i would say I miss Angela Gossow on your list even though she does not sing anymore. And Melissa Bonney too.
And this is why The Voice "of anywhere else" is SOOOOO much better than in America. Other nations aren't afraid to take risks. Sadly we just want a groomed pop star. Everywhere else, it's about all genres of music.
I couldn’t agree more. This is MY genre, and it’s a genre I can do WELL! However, I have auditioned twice now, several years apart, and they have said the same thing; “We’re just not ready for a metal artist. Maybe next year.” Honestly, i think it’s harder to be able to do Metal, and do it well, versus pop, country, and basically anything you hear in the top 40. Because of the vocal dynamics, and being able to do it WITHOUT damaging your chords, it takes a lot of discipline.
Not so much but yes they tend to be little bit more all around, but nevertheless from my experience voice is a freaking joke anyway. If you want to create music and leave a name behind you then better start working on your own, voice is just a show nothing more, and they only looking for those who can support the lifestyle they want to preserve. They don't really care about music, all they want is to gain more money.
There are tons of metal singers in the voice of finland and I believe that all of them knew Pantera. The guy who sang Panter got in to the semifinals. He was in the battles with another metal singer, who lost, but got taken to another team and then got to the finals and finished second. Search: The Voice Of Finland, Duality. That was their battle.

@@HandOfMetal right. He’s probly in standard on a hollowbody and we all know dimebags tuning was weird always on a dean. He got handed a sheet of tabs and was told good luck out there. A musician I aspire to be one day
I hope the guy who sang Spit it Out picked the first coach who turned around first. He's definitely rocking it out!
I was not expecting a heavy metal song from Myanmar's and Mongolia's The Voice.... The crowd reaction in the Mongolian crowd is awesome.. a mix of shock and horror.
Check out The Hu from Mongolia!
Dude sang a deathcore song
Fun Fact: Heavy Metal is a huge thing in Mongolia
Dude of you know whos their ancestor
Mongols are maniac, slay their opponents in the wars by wars like a boss 🔥
The Mongolian People have the Band "The Hu" who made a Song with Lizzy Hale from Halestorm. I think there is nothing more to say.
Respect for all the contestants, they all are keeping Metal alive. Ghost walking was my fav. Lamb of God would be so proud of her.
The guys from Myanmar singing Slipknot and Mongolia singing Chelsea Grin, were tight as hell 🔥👊🤘

Uhh. They were absolute trash. Everyone who tried to scream was just terrible

The Asian dude was actually the best vocalist in this entire video. His technique, breathing, everything is on point. The gutterals, fry and everything he did was technically correct and sounded good.
Couldn't agree more, despite the lack of clean singing. He had range and most importantly distinction
@@lightningmonky7674 for sure. I'd bet he can do clean vocals tho
You know he means business when his hair was down 🤟
Why can't we have stuff like him on the UK voice .... *Jealous*
Technically maybe, but at the end it sounds shit lol
The girl who sang "Look What You Made Me Do".....incredible, incredible talent! great presence, fantastic vocal control -sweet, then brutish! - the judge's reactions were sophomoric / ignorant at best. This girl is a STAR. Period.
Her name is Victoria Stoichkova and she is in a band called Gwendydd.
Agreed. It's the audacity for me. One out there looking like she was styled by JoJo Siwa lol. Not that there's anything wrong with how she looks, just pot and kettle hun.
yeah she kicked the shit out of it
💯. She is absolutely phenomenal. And am I the only one who wants to deck that male judge?
Is it just me or does she give young Courtney/early Spiritbox vibes?
Stefanie is my absolute favorite. It is not my style of music, but her vocal range and flexibility are absolutely stunning, and her passion is overwhelming.
What's ur style rap lmao
those two young men killed that drowning pool song!! you could really hear how much fun they were having
In my opinion Stephanie stuber is the best out of this group. Her vocal has natural talent like she's born for heavy metal, I totally dig in and make me goosebumps!
100% agree with you man
Victoria Stoichkova is pretty nice
Reminds me of jinjer, look her up
Honestly one f the best Voice auditions of all time.
i have to say her screams sound very much like inhales. not sure if she actually does that, but if she does, she really won't be able to keep that up because literally every extreme vocals coach ever will tell you it hurts your vocal chords in the long run
I felt that the dude with long hair had that in the bag🤘

A big hats off to the musicians playing these insanely hard songs!
OMG the female singers in this really were on another level. the duality in their voices added to the appeal. that last one went between angelic to demonic mode just like that
Honestly the judges reaction for the guy singing Spit it Out is simply amazing... I never thought that Slipknot was that popular in Asia.
The guy fucking killed it, I had never heard anyone singing spit it out kinda correctly, he sure did!
You'd be surprise.. hehe
It's hilarious cause he deliberately dressed up like a monk. He should've worn a black hooded cultist style robe 😂 for the sake of the knot

Could you imagine the amount of balls it took to sing spit it out live for an audition that's wild
He did really well too. Don't blame him for busting that out to start.
Jeez, it's such a hard song to sing, he did a phenomenal job , dont know how he managed to arrive at the auditions with those huge balls, carrying them around. Hope he won the season.

The german lady not only kiiled the vocals but she also managed to get the audience crazy, total respect from Greece
It breaks my heart that the US version of the Voice will never see such good fun. Even when someone makes it, the most interesting people get eliminated early.
Yeah, we get stuck with the country singers in the end.
@@kiayahargis1431 Blame Blake Shelton.
Same applies to the uk.

Specially the Crewcabanger by Chelsea From whoaah!🤘🏼
Nobody talking about the bodies hit the floor? That screamist was insanely talented.
The degree to which the last girl managed to maintain the clarity of what she was saying throughout the screaming parts was honestly very very impressive. That is very difficult to do, as is made clear by the previous audition.
Yeah! I don't get it why just one judge turn to her
stefanie and the last girl were screaming in different styles though
She's come such a long way since then - their band's definitely banging in my personal opinion - called Gwendydd , she ditched the clean vocals in favour of more screams and definitely went far with her technique - dare I compare her with the great Angela Gossow :)
Loved the dudes doing Bodies. Looks like they were having so fun! The guy doing Judas Priest was awesome at making his tone just like theirs. So was the Iron Maiden guy. He did great on the chorus. Props to that one chick doing Lamb of God. She was frickin' awesome! And, as everyone else said, props to the band for their playing.
I would love to try this I could do way better iron maiden Jesus priest and the other Pantera didn't even get to sing the High note on cemetery gates

I genuinely don't understand how this happens outside the U.S. with great success and not here. I know there's more than enough people who would watch this. I personally find this more natural than the bizarre American vocal styles invented within the past three decades. And I love seeing the appreciation that screaming is a legitimate vocal technique when done right.
because it's not just murica on the planet, duh. i think rock is going dead in U.S right now, that's probably why.
the taylor swift take actually fit the song quite well too. i guess in North America, there are just so many popular styles competing whereas the other countries still have respect for rock. Some of the more hardcore stuff takes a bit of getting used to and if you pic something pure hardcore then folks might not understand the work whereas the songs that mix up more traditional vocals with it would/should have a better chance maybe. That Lamb of God performance might be the perfect gateway.
As a European, my best guess is religion. The bible belt would never allow it.
Because in the States there are looking for cookie cutter pop stars that all sound the same and dress like a 304 on stage.
Because pop takes over everything sadly 😔
Spanish, German and Bulgarian girls are the best for lullabies.
And Mongolia as always full of wonderful surprises.
Stefanie and the band killed it! Great lamb of god cover! Dang!
So amazing.
The Voice of Germany band is just insanely good.

Две последние девушки просто класс! Нет слов, молодцы!
Although Tati from Jinjer (probably) is a better growler but I don't like her cleans. To much poppy.
You mentioned UTA so I can only say: yes, yes, yes, girl! Brittney is amazing.
If you want some female vocalists who growl and sing try Vintersea, very DEEP and SCARY Growls ONLY try Cerebral bore and Arch enemy with Angela gossow.
How did the guy singing Pantera not get them to turn around right away? His tone is fantastic

it's hard to match Phil. let alone fuckin dime kudos to the band

The amount of skill it takes to scream with lows and highs that Chelsea Grin does is insane. Props on to that guy

Stefanie could quite easily command a stage. She has great presence, an awesome voice and attitude.
Mongolian metalheads are just another level of awesome. But Stefanie Stuber...just wow. Tatiana, Courtney & Alissa have competition.
Stefanie's growl is ok but nowhere near those 3 demons, plus, Tatiana clean is far more superior! however, Stefanie is a force to be reckoned with.
Bruh, those are inhales. Which means:
1. Less control
2. Less power
3. Worse, "hollow" sound
4. You can fuck up your voice much more easily
That's why nobody does them. And you just compared her to Courtney and Tatiana lmaooo
@@januszwpierdoldrugi6262 yeah but that does not men it is less impressive.

1:32 Bodies
It was the best of all the covers I've seen to date, their energy is incredible 🤘🤘
And this is why The Voice "of anywhere else" is SOOOOO much better than in America. Other nations aren't afraid to take risks. Sadly we just want a groomed pop star. Everywhere else, it's about all genres of music.
That's why I quit watching the voice(I'm american as well) got sick of the same old stuff
I was told to go to agt.
Rick Snowdon in the UK was a rare exception on that one a few years ago but you're totally right!
Clearly the judges dont know Pantera...that was an amazing rendition!
True, if it was a well known song more upbeat performed even half as well they would would have turned.

Fantastic version of cemetery gates!
We have nothing but metal singers in Finland :D
There are tons of metal singers in the voice of finland and I believe that all of them knew Pantera. The guy who sang Panter got in to the semifinals. He was in the battles with another metal singer, who lost, but got taken to another team and then got to the finals and finished second. Search: The Voice Of Finland, Duality. That was their battle.
