  • We have a small off - grid property that has a federal wildlife conservation easement. We had two federal agents come to visit as part of their monitoring of the easement. We wanted them to explain the easement, but they were not allowed to appear on camera. We basically describe what we understood them to say about the easement as well as show you around the property a bit. Have a great day and be safe!

Good video they tried to get people to sign up for them here but only one person did when he died it was a total mess they couldn't sell the house because the only way to get to it was thru the easement. Take care be safe and well.

Thanks for watching and your comment. Yeah the farmer we bought that from sold all his non productive ground to the feds as wildlife easements. Actually made pretty good money but the agent that came out said it was originally one owner they dealt with and now it’s several. Some of the new owners had no idea what was involved as the properties changed ownership multiple times since the original easement purchase. I could see it being a giant hassle especially to a new land owner. Thanks again, have a great day and be safe!

Cool video. It would be really neat to send a remote controlled camera into the cave for more exploration.

Thanks for watching and your comment. Yes I think that would be the best way to see it at least initially. I have a trail cam on the entrance to try to see what is living in there. Have a great day and be safe!

I would not have been able to stick my head in that cave.

Thanks for watching and your comment. I’ve been in it a few times about 20 years ago. It’s pretty sketchy though I have to admit. We have coyotes bobcat along w raccoons and foxes. I wouldn’t want to run into any of those in that little space! Lol
Have a great day and be safe!

@@CopperBarnHomestead We had 30 acres up in the mountains in Oklahoma until a couple of years ago. There was a rock ridge running through the middle of it. Had a few openings (not really caves). I just stayed away from them. My imagination for what lived in there was enough for me.

Sounds like some awesome property! Yeah, I never even considered snakes which probably could be there too… eek
